I was referred here to get a rental car by the insurance company while my car was in the shop after someone crashed into it. Everyone here is super friendly and on top of what is going on. But they always seem to be super busy - although the staff handle it great and get everyone on the road quickly perhaps the owner or corporate should hire another person? Overall I'd give the staff a hundred stars if I could. My only nitpick would be to have more electric cars available at the basic car price point so that people getting rental cars through insurance can choose an EV if they want to. read more

I never thought I'd write a review for a rental car office, but the team and particularly Anne Ricci at this location more than deserve one. Basically, they are fantastic. Anne should be promoted to train other people all over the country on customer service and basic humanity. Elderly client having trouble finding her confirmation? They helped her out. Need a ride to the airport when you check your car back in? They are there for you and make sure you make your flight. Someone accidentally left their cel phone in a returned car and is now several hundred miles away? No problem, they drop the phone into fedex and you have it back in a day or so. My son is in Los Angeles he rented an enterprise car his fault was he locked the keys in the trunk their fault he was stranded there for over four hours and they never sent a car. We spent over $5,000 Dollars on rentals and had nothing but issues with vehicles and the manager Annie or Ann . They scam take extra money and then she has the nerve to ban us from renting because we brought all this to her attention. We had a car leak oil all over the driveway and multiple times has to bring in for maintenance and switch vehicles. We were never compensated for out time and money. We have used this rental place for the past 8 years, the last two times we have used them we have had issues. First was June of 24' and they didn't have any vans available after reserving one 3 months prior to the rental. The van we were going to get after 4 days of no cars was a mini van that had a broken back seat. Very unprofessional and shocked this could have been an option. This time we had an issue on pick up and came the next day ( Saturday) and were told we needed to come back Monday to pick up our rental since it wasn't ready, that was supposed to be upgrade and was not. I have communicated by text and extended through the app and today I get a threatening message from Kyley - 4 hours after I sent a text responding to their regional manager, Patricia, inquiring about the status of the car - threatening to report me to risk management if their car isnt back by noon tomorrow. I reserved a rental car online to pick up at noon on 4/8/2026 at the Napa, CA location. I had to get a ride to the location to pick up the car. My granddaughter and I were dropped off. Kylie who I was told is the office manager told me there was no car available for me. She was very matter of fact about it. I asked why I wouldn't have a car and she said no cars were returned. She said a car might be available a few hours later in the afternoon. I am very dissatisfied with the way I was treated. I had to cancel my plans for the day and seriously don't think I want to even rent from Enterprise if a car becomes available. I called the Napa office two days ago to try to pick up the car a little earlier in the day but would have to pay for an extra day. I was placed on hold for over a half an hour that day but ultimately told Kylie I would pick up the car at the original reserved time. To make matters worse, Kylie told me she left a phone message for me to inform me I wouldn't be able to pick up a car today but I did not receive a phone message. She had the correct number in their system. Beware renting from Enterprise. I am a repeat customer so this experience really hurt. read more

Edit: 3 stars. I came back to pick up a child seat I forgot and I saw a mildly better selection. Tells me you have to have a reservation Options here are slim. Service is very slow. Employees did not work for my best interest. Walk up prices were double the internet price and as I was looking at the app I had to prove that. Although the location is closer to me I'd rather go to another location. The location is advertised as an "enterprise exotic" location but I don't see any true exotics. Their exotic option at walk up was a Cadillac Escalade. I saw a small maserti suv, a genesis cross over. I did not see any higher end Mercedes, corvettes. The parking lot is very small and when I returned it you either park in a fire lane or double park. The footprint is too small to house a large selection and what i think are true exotics (AMG, corvette, larger range rovers). I was seeking a suitable SUV and I was provided a Hyundai Palisade. It had great features but the seats were horrendous for a 6 hour drive. I was surprised a Escalade is considered an exotic as I rented one and a grand Wagoneer through Avis without mileage restrictions. Apparently exotics have mileage restrictions of 150 miles a day ( days of rental x 150 = total available miles ). The price is $0.49 per mile above that. This place is also busy. When I arrived there is a steady flow of customers. They also spend a lot of time on phones (business phone) rather than the customers in front of them. As if they care more for appearances than presentation. Sadly I will not return here as the experience did not feel smooth, taken care of and customer first. I hope enterprise will expand their Napa location as this area is growing. More residents and attractions such as bottle rock. read more

I reserve a van with enterprise every year because I organize and chaperone a youth service trip for a week and we need at least 7 seatbelts. Every year I show up to an SUV instead which is fine because I at least have the number of seatbelts. Except this year. I woke up to a phone call at 8:30 the morning I was supposed to pick up my vehicle from informing me that their vans had a recall but they could give me a car with 5 seatbelts. I told them I needed 7 seatbelts, could they please give me an SUV. They stated they had 8 reservations for vans but only 5 SUVs and I would be placed on a waitlist. I asked if there was somewhere in the Bay Area that would be able to accommodate me but she just stated that every location was having the same issue. I looked up when the recall was issued and it came out 4 days ago. No thanks for not telling me until the last minute causing me to scramble and stress over finding a vehicle to accommodate my group. I see more disappointed feedback from lack of vehicle availability and increased cost for lack of having the correct sized vehicle reserved. Some sound advice that I learned the hard way. Research, compare, and plan in advance when renting a vehicle,especially in Napa a weekend destination, popular,and anytime destination. I made some big and costly mistakes last minute renting on a weekend. I needed a full size suv, so I reserved a full size suv thinking it would be a Escalade, Suburban, Navigator. What they had for me was a Nissin Armada never herd of it. So l pointed out there were several Full size SUVs in the lot Escalades I want one of those, That is a luxury SUV and is a lot more $$$ ok fine I'll pay extra (Shopping around next time) Let me be clear I did agree to the over inflated price, If l would have researched this l would have known and shopped around. *** But here lies the reason for the one star * I only needed the super expensive Suv for Friday and Saturday! They are closed on weekends so you can only rent for Whole weekend and return on Monday! My experience with rental car agencies they are open especially on weekends and this being a super tourist destination didn't make sense to me, and the neighboring cities Enterprise car rental businesses are open weekends! So any time you rent one day here on weekends' your going to pay for the whole weekend, in my case I had to pay an extra day on a very expensive vehicle. This seems a little bit well Convenient! !! Terrible experience. Got a confirmation email that my rental car would arrive at the autobody shop in Sonoma today at 2:30. I spent 45 on hold when they did not show up. I could tell them I would be at Evans limo service after flying into SFO Airport, and they would have a man there waiting to take me to their rental location . Then I just signed my papers and was on my way. They were always friendly and efficient. Never any hassels. Just quick service. I had scheduled a reservation for my mom to pick up a car at noon. My mother is Spanish speaking and my sister had taken her to pick up the car. When they arrived, James Walker (Branch Manager) told them that the reservation is for 2:30PM and Sida (Manager Assistant) said that she had confirmed a 2:30 time with my mother over the phone and my mother simply didnt understand her. THIS IS A LIE! My mother never called to make a reservation as i handled everything. When i arrived to try to help straighten things out they said they had two different reservations (They had the wrong reservation up to begin with) but we still had to wait until 2:30pm. Every time I rented here in the past, I always requested that the car be filled up and i would return the car full as well. This was never a problem before and i would sometimes have to wait 10 extra minutes for this request but they always happily completed this. Not anymore... James and Sida mentioned that they were here to "fix" this enterprise location and that they were setting a new expectation for me when it comes to fuel. The car i was given was practically empty with 67 miles left in the tank (photo below) and was told to bring it back at that level. It is hard to make it so that we return the car at such a low level. We will have this car for weeks while our car is at a body shop. We are not completely sure when we will have to return the car, but we do not want to accidentally gift enterprise a full tank of gas and we do not want to ride on empty all the time either. It is much more convenient to have it full and return full. James and Sida are definitely not fixing anything as I always had a pleasant experience at this location prior to their arrival. read more

I'd give them zero if I could. Called Enterprise Rental in Napa on Soscol Ave and reserved a truck. They said they would pick me up at 4PM. No one showed, called them back, then said 5PM, called them back at 5:30PM, no answer. Finally got corporate office who transferred them to me at 6PM. Talked to owner/manager and he said they came by and tried calling me. He lied, no call from them, no show. I was in front the whole time. They said they had someone stop by but they didn't. Garage door was wide open and me in front. They never called or came by because I have no calls on my cell from them and I was in front. Little liars. I said do you still have the vehicle, they said no. I'd say fuck these losers. Loser owner is a liar. Probably a Biden/Harris liberal. Never would use these freaks ever again. Never will use Enterprise ever. Worst run business ever. Going to contact their corporate office to file a complaint. Stay away from these clowns, use Hertz, Avis or anyone else. I am somewhat shocked this place has only 3 stars. I attribute this to pricing, which is high, like everything else in Napa. But the service here is impeccable and I've never had an issue with them not having the car I booked. The manager here has even borrowed a Polestar 2 from another rental place for me instead of subbing me into something I didn't want. (Great car btw). The point is they go the extra bit, and try to keep you coming back. They also have an amazing selection of high end cars to rent in addition to the normal stuff. Then I received a call less than 24 hours before pickup saying they didn't have any convertibles available but they'd be happy to give me a different car. He then offered me a small Mercedes and told me it was cool because it had red seats. He then told me he was busy and needed to help customers that had reservations. There was no one else there. I have been renting cars from this location for a few years. I mostly rent when I am traveling for work or taking a road trip. I found myself needing a vehicle twice during this pandemic. Once for work & for an insurance claim. On the first occasion, this location was technically closed, but Tommy was willing to travel from the Vallejo location & get me into something at the Napa location. On a Friday afternoon at 4:30. The second occurrence was due to an accident & our vehicle being a total loss. Again, Tommy assisted us & was able to offer an upgrade. I've personally never experienced poor customer service, or an unwillingness to upgrade. I have had to be picked up, and was told there was a little wait. But it never extended past 25 minutes.
