View image. At checkin we told the Wyndham sales team that we are not able to make it to their 8:30am timeshare refresher which cost $40 to hold our seat and we did not authorize or approve the $40 charge (photo of charge and refund). Even though it was refunded, this is illegal especially if we did not approve this charge.

Spent over 30 min on the phone waiting for a customer service rep to pick up the phone. Both times at the 15 min mark of the held phone call it automatically hung up. What a waste of 30 min of my life. Problem is that because the washer in the room flooded the room they gave me a $200 room credit. I used it at the store prior to checking out and bought 6 bottles if wine and a couple other things. Tital charge was $206. Fast forward almost a month and the $200 has not been credited back to me yet. Ended up calling the Meritage Resort number and had my problem fixed and my money refunded within 2 minutes. Do better Vino Bello.

Stayed here for our long Napa weekend. Everything you need is on the grounds. From restaurants, coffee shop, entertainment, pools and etc, we enjoyed our stay. Staff was great, except for Room Service. I've had better food on a cruise ship.‍

Overall I had an okay stay. The best part of this was when I checked in at the Meritage concierge by a trainee. I don't remember his name but he was so professional and friendly! If his name tag didn't say trainee I probably couldn't even tell he was one! His customer service was wonderful and it was a highlight of my stay. When I arrived into my room I had a complimentary bottle of red wine waiting for me on the table. The beds were alright however the pillows were too flat for me. Maybe it's just I'm getting old and I need to start bringing my own pillow or something. The room looks a bit old as the style is def not modern but it was fine. I had a good view of the pool and their vineyard. Luckily there was nothing wrong with my room! My colleagues' room on the other hand had a broken AC unit. She told the front desk and they came to fix it right away. I was able to visit the pool one of my nights. I liked that there was a kids pool too, very shallow. There are towels there and bbq equipment but I didn't see anyone using it. What was difficult staying here was the limited parking. We had to park on the street twice because the lot was full. It kinda made the parking permit/pass nonsensical. Anyway it was a decent stay and the location is close to the main road if you're looking for a Napa getaway!

We appreciated the spacious rooms, but they are definitely outdated. One major downside was the lack of housekeeping--no services until the 4th day of our stay, and no option to get fresh towels, coffee, or cream refills in the meantime. You have to go to the lobby for fresh coffee once you finish what's in the room. Communication was also disappointing. We tried calling to confirm our reservation before arry, but no one ever answered. Even after leaving a voicemail, we never received a call back. We were lured into attending a 90-minute timeshare presentation with the promise of a gift, but what was offered--a one-week stay in a subpar location--was not appealing and made us even less interested in joining Wyndham club. Would I stay here again? Maybe, but only for the convenience and definitely not at full price.

I've been here several times but I believe this is the first time occupying a one bedroom on the ground floor In the Cabernet building. This was located around the corner in a quiet area within site of the pool. On this cool fall weekend the pool area was quiet unlike during warmer times like summer. Quiet is nice! It seems like they have refurbished some of the rooms which is a welcome change.

We've been with SVC since 2009 so whenever we got a chance for a mini-staycation in Napa, Vino Bello is our spot! Centrally located to our "go to" places - dining, shopping or visiting family/friends in the area!

After a few nights the place was still great but a few things I wanted to mention. The mattress is extremely soft, just FYI. I am more of a firm mattress person so this was different for me. Also during our stay we did not receive any new towels or trash pick up while we were there. Now I will say the day after we arrived we did place the do not disturb sign on the door for that day only, so that may have been towel exchange day but I'm not sure. Overall, we really enjoyed ourselves and the weather was beautiful.

Stayed with my friend as a guest, she is a member of the Wyndham timeshares so I can't complain too loudly, but will a bit. Positives: -beautiful lobby with an occasional comp wine tasting. -comp glass of champagne at the vino bello concierge (way in back of lobby) upon checking in -free parking, just need to get the paper tag -comp bottle of wine in room -nice walking trial right behind resort in vineyard Negatives: -decor is dated -cold water only in both of our 2 suite rooms right next to each other at 4-5pm on a Friday...so random...is everyone checking in on a Friday & showering - the pool stinks! The nice pool off the lobby is for Meritage guests only. No recliners or pillow cushion seats for hard wrought iron upright chairs. Shade is scarce & no pool service as in older much nicer pool. Happy to visit as a guest but not worth the amount of points my timeshare friend had to use.

Ask the Community - Vino Bello Resort

    Is there a restaurant?

Yes there is. There's like a bar that serves drinks and some appetizers in the lobby area. And then next door there's a pub and bar like place. They have yummy food.

Is the pool open for guest now?

    Yes it's open

How early can you check in?

Depends on the day. 4pm is official check-in time. You can often check-in an hour or two earlier.

I booked a one bedroom with king and sofa bed. Is this the room with a living room as well and a bathtub in the bedroom?

Yes. Jacuzzi tub. Huge shower in the bathroom. Kitchen living room is connected and his a really nice room. Also has a fire place.

Hi! We have a scheduled stay at the resort in July and want to know if the bbq area by the pool can be reserved ahead of time?

Does anyone know how big the jetted tubs are like in their condo rooms?

I don’t know the dimensions but my hubby is 6’3” 200lbs and I am 5’3” 120lbs and we fit fine however a bit snug for him.

Lobby is tiny and we were greeted while they were busy with other visitors. Gave us a three level upgrade with outdoor tub but too many leaves and pollen to use. Called for housekeeping and nobody arrived. Have to call to get slippers and tooth brushes and only bought one set even though they confirmed for two. Lounge sets were not covered prior to our arrival which I would expect as part of housekeeping. Hence can't use lounge chairs and patio furniture without cleaning. Spiders on outside furnitures and inside cottage had one dangle down its web right in front of me while sitting on the sofa. Bathtub inside is broken and can't use to take a bath and looks like it's been broken for a while. I liked the folding patio door setup as allows a nice view of the roses in the yard and a nice breeze but a lot of bugs. Could be helpful if there's lavender plants in the backyard. Nice fire place in backyard that can run really hot and keep bugs off you and a nice place to relax in the morning. Shower had nice heated floors but tub not working detracted from the experience. Service is great and everyone was ultra friendly but hard product is missing the spot.

Upon arrival, we had to wait to check in because there was only one person working the front desk. For a resort charging nearly $1,200 per night, this was not a great first impression. There was also no welcome drink or arrival experience offered. The next day I noticed a bottle of wine and cups sitting on a table near check-in, but no one had mentioned it to us when we arrived. I booked through American Express Platinum and inquired about a room upgrade, but was told the resort was at full capacity and no upgrades were available. However, throughout our stay the property appeared surprisingly empty and certainly did not feel anywhere close to full occupancy. I had also informed the resort ahead of time that we were celebrating our 6th anniversary. There was no welcome note, no small gift, and no acknowledgment whatsoever. While not required, these are the types of details luxury resorts typically excel at, especially when guests are celebrating special occasions. The room itself was another disappointment. For the rate we paid, it felt small and poorly maintained. Several lights and the television were unplugged, leaving us to troubleshoot them ourselves. The curtains were falling off the rod, and there was visible trash in the backyard area. These are basic maintenance issues that should never be present at a property positioning itself as a luxury destination. Dining was equally frustrating. We attempted to get a table at The Farm and were told the next available table would be about 20 minutes. We were offered immediate seating outside near the bar, but staff failed to mention that this was effectively a different dining experience with a much more limited menu. The service there was poor from start to finish. Our waiter forgot to place one of our orders, resulting in my wife's meal arriving much later than mine. We frequently had to flag him down just to receive basic service. The food portions were small and the quality was mediocre at best. The one bright spot of our stay was the wine tasting at Post Tasting Room with Cole. He was knowledgeable, personable, and genuinely seemed to care about creating a great guest experience. He was easily the highlight of our visit. Overall, Carneros Resort and Spa did not deliver the luxury experience it promises, nor did it justify its premium pricing. Between the poor service, lack of attention to detail, room condition issues, and disappointing dining experience, I would not stay here again and would not recommend it to friends or family.

The grounds of this hotel are so serene, with art installations! Unfortunately, our precious Toby (fur baby) had a medical situation there and our stay was cut short. We had 3 nights planned and only got to stay 1. I want to say a HUGE THANK YOU to Raymond, the front office manager. You made our decision to leave an no brainer and we didn't have any stress about not staying the other 2 nights. We will forever be loyal to Bardessono, due to the love and care that was showed to us by you that morning while we were in distress. Also thank you to the staff who was there on the night shift for parking our car when we returned from the emergency vet at 3:30 AM. While we were sad to leave we most definitely are looking forward to the next time we come back.

Full disclosure, I did not stay at this hotel, I came for the day to go to the spa and lunch. My…read moreissues are mainly with the spa, not the hotel itself. I will say first, from what I saw of the hotel, it is nicely appointed and has great staff. I would consider coming back just to stay. Our lunch was also pretty nice. The service was rather slow, especially since we were one of two occupied tables for most of the time we were there (mid-week), but the food was very good and fresh/healthy feeling. Now, on to the spa. I chose the 80 min peptide lifting facial for $395. First of all, $395 is a price you might pay for a full service spa. This is not that. There is a tiny locker room with a closet sized sauna in it that could fit one or two people. There is one shower and a sink to clean up in. No other facilities. Second of all, the facial was nothing special to cost that much. I have better facials at home at my local salon, and usually pay less than $100. At the end of the facial the esthetician, who had just spent the last 75 mins cleaning all the gunk off my face and out of my pores, then proceeded to put a nasty tinted moisturizer all over my face! I asked her about it at the time, told her that I do not wear makeup of any kind, and even told her I was concerned about it getting on the collar of my light grey sweater. She just slathered it on. Told me if I didn't like it I could use a tissue to wipe it off! When I went to get dressed after my service I looked in the mirror and saw that I did in fact look like a tangerine. Thankfully I had some cleaning wipes in my bag, and was able to get it all off. So I basically wiped off $395 of facial in two minutes with a cheap drug store towelette. Great. So, basically, stay at the hotel or maybe trying out the restaurant, but avoid the spa!

There's also a fireplace inside and it heats up FAST. they have a coffee maker and a drink selection downstairs. they serve charcuterie and wine in the evening in the lobby. Though I will say that the wine tasted pretty bad, my partner and I were hoping to walk the property, but it should be known that there isn't much room to walk around. Nevertheless, they have areas to sit and enjoy enjoy the water. It's definitely a romantic place to stay very quiet. Although it's next to a busy road and the cars can sometimes get a bit noisy. They have a space outside to get massages by the water. Breakfast was delicious. FYI, there is no pool here so don't bother bringing your swimsuit. The folks who worked here had a positive attitude and were very accommodating. I think good service makes a big difference. They have two buildings on the property and each one has approximately six rooms I believe. I definitely wouldn't mind coming back here.

We stayed for 3 nights in their Brookwood suite and enjoyed ourselves relaxing and rejuvenating immensely. We had 2 massage treatments and both were administered excellently by by Colleen and Taci for me and by Arpita for my better half. While the Wine country massage was relaxing, the Ultimate Bliss was so de-stressing and enjoyable that I am ready to go for it once again. And their breakfast options that come included are limited but very very good and filling! Do try this place . We intend to come here more frequently now that we have confirmed that they have maintained their standards !

We flew into Sacramento Airport and made the drive to Napa, which took about an hour and fifteen minutes depending on traffic. Once we arrived, the location of the hotel immediately stood out. It sits just outside downtown Napa--about a 9‑minute walk or a quick 2‑minute drive--and the surrounding area is flat, safe, and very walkable. From the front entrance near the valet, a simple left turn leads you straight to Oxbow Public Market and the Napa Riverfront. The Napa Valley Wine Train station is also right next door, which adds a unique charm to the property. The hotel itself is built along the Napa River on land that was once part of the city's early railroad and milling district, and that history is reflected in the setting. Another highlight is that this Westin is one of the few with a Michelin‑star connection through its signature restaurant, La Toque. Upon arrival, valet greeted us immediately, as valet parking is the only option. Check‑in is located just to the right, and the first thing that caught my attention was the wall of wine bottles--a thoughtful detail that reflects Napa's identity as a premier wine region. The lobby is spacious, inviting, and beautifully designed, creating a strong sense of arrival. We stayed in room 2079, a superior one‑bedroom suite that felt more like a private residence than a typical hotel room. The suite included a dining table, a pull‑out couch, two televisions (one in the dining area and one in the bedroom), a full kitchen, and a private balcony overlooking the courtyard. The space was clean, comfortable, and well‑maintained. The bathroom was also impressive, and the waterfall showerhead quickly became one of my favorite features. Overall, the Westin Verasa Napa offered a comfortable and convenient stay with excellent access to downtown, the riverfront, and nearby attractions. The thoughtful design, spacious rooms, and ideal location made our New Year's visit smooth and enjoyable. It's a property that enhances the Napa experience in all the right ways.

The Westin definitely did not let down. Beautiful lobby upon arrival, and helpful staff. My kids…read moreloved the pool, and we wish we spent more time in it during our stay. Nice thing is it's conveniently located a few minutes away from downtown Napa. While it wasn't the most up to date hotel room, it did the job, and we would definitely come back.
