I have attempted to use this company twice. Both times with a reservation. Both times I spent money on an Uber to pick up the vehicle. Only when I get there they don't have the vehicle despite my having a reservation. $90 in Uber fees ($45 each way) Twice!! $180 for nothing!! Reservation confirmed on a Friday afternok . Received confirmation text with number and text reported that car was available for pick up immediately. When I arrived he stated he had no cars available bc I did not call. The text stated there was a reservation number with the number listed and the car was ready for pick up. So, why would I need to call again? Stated he had no car for me until Monday and tried to argue the definition of reservation. Reservation and confirmation text with the message that states car is ready for pick up immediately means there is a car waiting for me to pick up. Reservation holds the car. In 2024, we rented a 15 passenger van for a youth group trip out of state, reserved well in advance. The day we were scheduled to leave, we received a call to go to another location to pick up the van. Arrived there, but no van. No vans anywhere. No solution from Enterprise. We figured the issue was a large sports tournament in town that week, so we gave it another try for a youth group trip scheduled for summer 2025--booking months in advance. The week before the trip, we discovered that our reservation disappeared from the app--no notification from Enterprise. When we called them, we were told there were no vans available. They had no solution, no apology--nothing. And they didn't bother to tell us. It was sheer luck we discovered the problem. A replacement van from another company would have cost six times what the Enterprise rental was supposed to be. Fortunately, we found another solution through a friend. Close to home, so we use this quite a bit. But, while they advertise that they will pick you up, they don't always do that. They seldom have what we ordered, but they happily upgrade for no charge, so that's usually okay. Sometimes the option we were given wasn't something we would have actually chosen, but that's too bad--take it or leave it, as it is the only thing available. The hours are very limited, so we have to take off early from work in order to pick up the car. So they're not really customer-centric. And none of this can be attributed to staffing issues caused by Covid and the economy, because this was happening before Covid. But the cars are always clean and easy to drive, and the prices are reasonable for now. And really, those are the most important factors. read more

I usually love Enterprise and have never had an issue until I made the mistake of going to the 11102 West Dodge location in Omaha. When I brought back the vehicle it had two barely visible dings on the roof top and the guy "Etienne Nahayo"actually brought out a paint sample piece of paper and was trying to tell me there was more dings and that I just couldn't see them. The worst part was he barely spoke English and I had no idea what he was even saying for most of the conversation. I took pictures and sent them in to insurance for proof of damage because he was not an easy or nice person to talk to. I will never rent from this location again. read more

I was rear ended at a stop light so got a rental thru the other party's insurance. If i drive even a few miles one of the tires loses quite a lot of pressure. I called to switch it out but nothing available. Their solution was for me to sit half a day at Tires Plus. This happened almost immediately so must have been an existing issue. If there was a zero rating, I would select that. I was in a car accident back in mid November. The other person's insurance was to pay for all the expenses. When I came to this Enterprise location, I was asked what car I wanted by the manager (Josh) not knowing the other person's insurance only would give me a certain car. Enterprise knew all of this, but failed to inform me. When I talked to Josh, I asked to speak to his manager. He said (and I quote), "theres no one above me. my manager was fired.". I laughed and hung up. The next day came and the other persons insurance told me they would cover $100 out of the $250 I was charged. I talked to Enterprise's 800 number and they assured me they would talk to this location and management about getting a refund. well, nothing ever came of it. if i could give zero stars i would - travelers beware! my flight was delayed coming into omaha today due to a mechanical issue. my pick up time was 1:30 pm - i arrived at the counter at 1:58 pm. the rep (with earpods in and clearly not engaged with the customer) told me she couldn't find my reservation. She called her "manager'" and no explanation was given - no reservation was found. After contacting my corporate travel dept - i was told by them that my reservation was canceled. My boss had the same thing happen after a delay a few weeks back . Another co worker that was here recently was told by enterprise that she could not rent a car because her id was expiring in a few weeks - please note that it was not expired at the time of the rental. Rented a car to be picked up at noon on Saturday, July 12th. Received a call the night before explaining the $200 deposit and confirming the noon pick-up. Arrived at 11:58 am to pick up car at 112th dodge location in Omaha. Because there was a sign to wait outside, we stood in the heat until Paul answered. At that time, he said the "keys were locked up and we were out of luck." Paul then shut the door on us. He was so incredibly rude, we were dumbstruck. Not only does the confirmation clearly state location AND time for pick-up, We were even at the location BEFORE noon. Worst experience ever. The small SUV I had reserved was not 4wd. We live in a place the requires 4wd or AWD. I was to be picked up at 8:05 am, at 8:29 the driver arrives to take me from the body shop to the rental office. No 4wd vehicles to be had in the city. I ordered the vehicle before the snow storm. I was told by the management there is no guarantee the vehicle you reserve will be available. Ridiculous. I had to get my own car out of the body shop so I would have transportation back to my home. My husband spent the day trying to locate a 4wd vehicle. He finally got a call back from Budget and they hooked us up with a brand new off the trailer 2021 Ford F150. It is beautiful and more than that it is only $59.00 a day! Upper management called me today and offered a VIP experience the next time I travel. No thanks. Budget gets my business from here on out. read more

I had a disappointing experience with Enterprise Rent-A-Car recently. They refused to let me pay with my debit card simply because I have an out of state license. This seems like an unfair and inequitable practice, especially considering the fact that many people have out of state licenses for legitimate reasons. Also many underrepresented communities have a harder time getting access to credit cards. Although I do have a credit card I had to cancel due to fraud and have not received my new card. Equity over Equality. I hope they'll reconsider their policy and treat all customers equally inthe future. read more

Thought I'd get a nice sized vehicle. Show up and they give me a freakin nissan sentra??!...its smaller than midsize....then I asked about it and they offered me a truck, like I want to pay to fill that thing up all trip. Very unhappy. Wow, June 28th, pick up car that ended up a piece of crap! They charged me an additional 200$ on top of a drop charge I had already gotten with booking! Drop in Illinois, told by 95th Street Enterprise that I wasn't supposed to get charged 200$. Contact Corporate Enterprise! Now they tell me I'll see that money in 10 days that being July 20th. Do not rent a car with Enterprise. The whole reason I did so was that I was renting a car for a corporate employee who was driving from another Enterprise location. I reserved the car and noted it was a CORPORATE account. When we returned the vehicle to this location (which is by where I work and live) they could not have been less helpful. The message was "we have nothing to do with that other location and cannot help you. Call them." I work for a large corporation that has multiple locations nationwide. Whether I have anything to "do" with the other locations, it is our job to REPRESENT our firms. This location has done this poorly and I will tell all of my friends everywhere, who use Enterprise, to immediately stop doing it. Never again. read more

Hail Scam-Omaha Enterprise had a crappy car, overdue for an oil change, waiting for me at the body shop when my car was being repaired. 2 months after turning it in, they call and tell me they are filing a claim with my insurer for hail damage. There was a hailstorm where I picked the car up that very night, I was 40 miles away and there was not so much as a drop of rain there. It was a Chevy Traxx that had an oil change warning going off the whole time I had it. I did not change the oil, I put 295 miles on it, wasn't about to maintain something that didn't belong to me. I checked the oil- it was adequate level but black as coal. I told my insurer (Geico) that it was fraud and they put a stop to it. I recommend Budget- never had a problem there and they have decent vehicles, well-maintained. My advice- if the other driver's insurance is paying, rent from WHOMEVER YOU TRUST. Not whoever has a car there at the time. Get a ride to YOUR rental agency and same a lot of headache. read more

No stars here. I rented a car while my car was being repaired for hail damage. They came to the body shop with a Camry but the guy couldn't get his computer to work so he took me to the Enterprise office. Low and behold when we got there the Camry couldn't be rented because it needed an oil change. The only car available was a Corolla that was dinged up and reeked of cigarette smoke. I rented for 4 days but they billed me for 7 days. They keep promising to take care of it but nothing has happened. I have called the district office and all acknowledge the error but no one corrects it. It has been 4 weeks. read more

I took a rented car from Enterprise and received a free upgrade (Chrysler 200), as the economy car that I booked wasn't ready. Car was fully loaded but the sound of the fan could be clearly heard and it became more loud on highway. Acceleration of the car wasn't up-to the mark if the air-conditioning was on. Hence, I have to switch on n off the air-conditioning while driving and eventually resulted in reducing the car speed to 50-60 mph. Total drive time from MN to Omaha was 9 hours and 35 minutes instead of normal 6 to 7 hours. read more

I'm going to make this short, kinda "just the facts, Ma'am". After having the 86th and Dodge location try to slip one by me when I had a car in the shop for storm related damage, I tried the 117th location when my other car went in for more storm damage this week. Here's how the scam works.....after you are cheerfully picked up by a cheerful Enterprise employee, you are transported to the office to sign papers. They'll tell you you can have the car they picked you up in for only 3 or 4 bucks more then your insurance company pays per day. After you drop off the car and pick up yours, they cheerfully inform you that they are billing your credit card for FOUR TIMES THE AMOUNT YOU WERE QUOTED!!!!! I threatened to call the bank and stop the charge and hire an attorney and they backed off, in both cases, at both locations. I got the deal I was promised initially but only because I paid attention. It shouldn't be this way, please be advised and govern yourselves accordingly. Ya suppose I'm gonna rent from Enterprise when I land in Tucson next week? Have things deteriorated to the point that a one time score is worth more than any sense of customer loyalty? read more

I recently rented a Mini Van for a trip from Omaha to Texas for a funeral from the L Street location. I was told that I had the car for 7 days and had to return it the following Monday. While "investigating" the available vehicles, I was talked into signing paperwork right then & there (11 a.m.) even though I did not need the car until much later that day. I returned on Sunday but turned the vehicle into them on Monday evening because I was told that I had the vehicle until Monday. As it turns out, since I signed the paperwork at 11 a.m. and turned the vehicle in at 5 p.m., they have charged my credit card for an additional day. This was done AFTER speaking with them and them assuring me that they would not do this because I paid to have the vehicle detailed before returning it and they appreciated that fact. I feel they purposely left out some facts (such as til what hour I had to return the car) and lied to me about the extra charge. I would have thought a big name company like this would be safe to do business with but I was wrong! Since I manage a car dealership and refer hundreds of people to car rental companies each year, I will definately NOT recommend this company. read more

Customer service was outstanding. Enterprise exceeded my expectations. They picked me up and dropped me off at my home for two separate weekend rentals. The cars they provided also exceeded my expectations. The first rental was a Ford Focus and the second rental was a Mazda 6. These were apparently free upgrades from my low-priced three day weekend rental special. That rate was around $53, including fees and taxes, for a rental running from Friday through Monday. Not only that, but for this weekend, they will permit me to return the car to the airport without an additional charge. That saves me around $40 for cab fare. Joel, the Branch Manager, took great care of me. Highly recommended! By the way, the next time I plan to rent a car, Enterprise will be the first company that comes to mind. read more

This is how they scammed me. They sent some schmuck to deliver the car to me at the body shop and the "boy" tells me all cheerfully: "Looks like your insurance company is picking up the tab." I think, great I wasn't going to ask them to pay because I was only going to have the car for a couple of days, but why not let them? I never called the Ins. co and asked, this guy brought it up. The body shop calls me the next day and says they have to keep my car longer because they needed more money from the Ins. co. and someone has to come out, etc. I think, no problem the "tab" is covered. Well, after my car being tied up for a week, I return the rental and get a phone call telling me that the Ins. co isn't paying after all and I owe them $250. I would have been out $50 if their STUPID EMPLOYEE HADN'T OPENED HIS BIG FREEKING MOUTH. Oh and by the way, the car they gave me was filthy inside. I had to clean the inside of the windshield and the inside of the back window so I could see. It stunk like someone had transported really stinky dogs and then left the windows open so the inside could get nice and wet. I drove in this stench for a week. This company stinks. I would not use them again nor would I recommend them to anyone. read more

Worst car rental place ever. Went to get a rental because my car was in the shop and they charged my card $120 even though it was supposed to be covered by insurance. Called a few days later and they said insurance was taken care of and they would refund me everything except for the $50 deposit. A week later I still hadn't been refunded and they then took another $100 out of my account. I called and the girl working there said it was for another "deposit". Talked to someone else and he told me the insurance had never been taken care of to pay for the car. Got the insurance straightened out (on a Thursday) and was told I would have a refund for everything they had charged me, except the $50 deposit, by Monday. By Wednesday I still did not have the refund, called and the girl couldn't figure out what was going on and told me she would have someone call me back shortly after. I never got a call so I called AGAIN on Thursday and was told the refund had gone through the day before and I would have it by Friday. Of course, Friday came and I STILL did not have my refund. Called Enterprise again and they said my bank was holding up the refund...no....I finally got my refund on Monday. Then a week and a half later I went to drop off my car and the girl at the front desk told me I had a $28 charge, but since she couldn't figure out what it was for she would hold off on charging me until she had her manager call and explain the charge to me. The next day I had a voicemail from a manager calling to make sure I was satisfied with the 'customer service' I had and that if I had any questions that I should call him. I then looked at my bank statement and saw I had been charged the $28 that still has not been explained to me, and of course, I do not have my $50 deposit back. read more

I actually was "pushed" to this location because I had a reservation at 13206 Millard Ave, went in to get my rental, and customer service rep demanded that I give him 2 phone numbers to get the vehicle. I responded with my work cell phone number, and he claimed he needed another number to use as an emergency contact. I told him I didn't have another number, and he replied, Well, I guess your not renting from us!! NICE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I promptly left, went to this location, where the Rep was professional, had my paperwork filled out and ready to go in less than 5 mins, and, here's the kicker, NEVER asked for a 2nd phone number. I asked him why Millard location would require that, and he responded he wasn't sure. I have 4 employees that work for me, and 3 of them have had similar experience's in the Millard location. Needless to say, we will NEVER give our business to the Millard location again, and, when client's are in Omaha, we will send them to the Dodge street location EVERYTIME!! read more
