I rent for business and for personal reasons and I've never been disappointed. For the most part the location has always been clean and everybody greets you properly when you arrive. There is always parking available. They always offer to pull the car up for you and make sure your expectations have been met before you leave. They've always made a good effort for providing rides although during the Covid it has been a little more difficult. It's a real treasure to have this high-quality rental service in West Omaha and I hope more people support it so we can keep the business in our neighborhood!!!

We did ask for damage waiver ins but additional insurance was added (that was not requested) plus a VAT tax that was not originally quoted. We do not feel the additions quoted were explained properly prior to our signature. We will not be renting through Hertz again. If you do rent through Hertz, make sure they explain what all the costs are before you sign no matter how rushed and ask for a detailed invoice. Otherwise you will not receive a detailed invoice until after the car is returned. At least that was our experience.

Cars are clean, staff is friendly, and it's very easy to return your vehicle, even after hours. Points are accumulated in order to get discounts towards future rentals or eventually free days. I needed a car right away for work and made a huge mistake by going through Avis! I was given an initial quote of $31 per day and of course has to extend my rental out multiple days while waiting for my car to be repaired. I was never told the daily rate would increase which caused overage charges above what the insurance company would allow. I was also charged toll fees on the car and I'm pretty sure those don't exist in Omaha or Nebraska at all. Needless to say I'm still fighting with them about these charges and getting nowhere. The manager at this location talks in circles and is no help whatsoever! Please rent your cars elsewhere!!

The car (Jeep Compass) was very clean, excellent on gas and very comfortable. Rickie thoroughly explained the costs and additional insurance options (I always purchase the DW(Damage Waiver). Upon return, Rickie quickly checked me out and had the full receipt in my mailbox within hours. I see negative reviews from this location, but from years back, so with no doubt, service has improved. All of the clerks we had interaction with were pleasant and helpful. I spoke with a woman on the phone the day prior and dealt w/ 2 different gentlemen during pick up/ drop off. I felt it was dangerous to drive on, so I tried calling the Eppley Field office. THEY DON'T ANSWER! I tried customer support. No help. I tried calling Roadside Service. No help. I finally had to buy a tire, so I could make the trip back. The local office and the company customer service will not respond to my requests for a reimbursement for the tire I bought. The car also had a cracked windshield, no lug wrench, no jack crank and three inches of water in the spare tire tub. NEVER rent from Budget!!

I had to use the restroom since we were there so long, trash was overflowing and there were nearly a dozen dead bugs in the floor. They did promised a discount once I complained but did not seem at all concerned about screwing up my schedule and did not actually give the discount. No price details on the paperwork because their computer was down, it was still down 4 days later when I returned the vehicle so they weren't able to give a receipt. They said they'll email it but never did. So many other options, use a different car rental place!
