The agent said I would have to pay $170.00 for returning it late. The agent said it didn't matter if it was 1 hr or 24hrs later. I've never heard of such a high penalty. When I use enterprise they charge $40 to $50 if it's over a few hrs late. Sometimes they waive it since I'm a platinum member. I won't use Budget or Avis rental going forward. Their penalties are highly excessive. It's ironic that their name Is Budget rental.

Now, today, I get an e-mail from Avis that I'm being fined for a traffic violation that I have no knowledge of. Look up the reviews for this company on Yelp and Trust Pilot.
