I chose this location because it was open later than the airport location. With an afternoon/ early evening arrival, I would not have made it in time to the airport location (closed at 5pm). The crew at this location were running their tails off on a President's / Daytona weekend. I don't fault them for the shortage of cars, I fault Enterprise corporate (minus one star). Wow- 5 Stars for truly lovely service. It's a car rental place. The service doesn't have to be good, but it is better than good. Emily and Zach were absolute GEMS. I needed a rental car in a pinch (think- need to get to a work meeting in Tampa and realize I have a flat tire). Luckily, this spot was close and when I called they said they had availability. I got there and quickly was set up with a car. Emily walked around the car with me to check and document any pre-existing damage. We also chatted because I'm me. And Emily was a joy. I returned the car and Zach let me know that if I chose the option to have them fill the tank when I returned it at the beginning it would have been cheaper, but upon returning it was over $5/gallon, but the car was a hybrid and it still made sense for me. I rented from this location because it was a bit less expensive than other locations closer to the train station that I arrived at when I came to Orlando. It's a smaller location and there aren't a huge amount of cars but they have obviously enough for the people coming into the small airport nearby and other leisure travelers to Orlando. Their hours were adjusted due to Covid and you have to wait outside socially distanced and someone comes out and files out the paperwork electronically. They take you to the car assigned to you and do a walk around which is great so that you can point out anything of note before you leave the lot. I always take photos though. The car I received was very similar to the car I usually drive so I knew what I was doing. It was okay on gas and got me from point A to point B which was Disney. I was leaving on a Sunday and needed to return the car very close to their opening hours on Sunday in order to hurriedly get to the train station. Even though they weren't officially open, the employee still allowed me to return the car early and I was thankful for that. So thanks Enterprise! Still not picking up customers. Was told for a year it was because of covid mandates. Once mask mandates weren't needed they would pick up again. They're still not picking up. I'm also getting dirty cars again and cars without GPS now. Service has gone wayyyyy down across the company. They closed my store, where I was very much taken care of as the platinum customer I am. I have gone to 3 different places now near my home and still can't get quality care like I did before pandemic. So the covid update is bullshit. I was sent to this branch by State Farm after an auto accident. When State Farm confirmed the reservation, I was told they had 1 vehicle fitting the size and they would hold for 30 minutes. I rushed out of the house with a plumber still there to pick up said vehicle, so I wouldn't be totally stranded. I had to pay an Uber driver as enterprise was not picking up or doing any curbside service. I get to the location and the car isn't even on the lot?!?!?!? So you were holding what for me? According to your covid policy screenshot below, you could have brought me the car. If I could give 0 stars I would. They have trainees who don't know what they're doing making important phone calls to "ensure that you don't waste your time driving over for nothing." The trainee called and confirmed that the card we planned on using was good to go and we would need no further documents. Once we get there, the guy in charge tells us they can't take the card because it's considered a prepaid card on their end. Why did the trainee confirm and waste our time for nothing? After a stressful day ( my son totaled his car) I tried to book via Priceline and arrived to learn I had to pay ( not hold) but PAY $1000 deposit that I'd get 17 days later . AND Priceline reservations are non refundable. It was one thing after another and I was scared to go with a big name like Enterprise because I was trying to save a buck. Coincidentally it turned out to be more cost efficient than the rest. I originally had rented a car rental through my insurance with Enterprise Due to my car being fixed in the shop, My insurance company State Farm paid for 80% of the rental and I paid 20% which was $8.00 daily rate I kept the rental for a duration of 15 days, the first day of picking up the rental I was charged $67.37. $50.00 was supposed to be reimbursed $17.37 was charged toward the first two day, After returning the rental on August 21st, 2018 They charged me $97.63 that comes to a total of $165.00. Total duration from August 7th to the 21st I kept the rental car one additional day without my insurance coverage. Which was $43.12 daily rate for that last day being August 21st. Fast forward It is September 7th 2018 I waiting to be reimburse that $50.00 Enterprise had charged me for my original deposit. After checking my bank statements and not being reimbursed I decided to call their office. After speaking to a representative and the manager I was told oh your deposit will not be reimbursed it ate into your total toward the rental!? I paid the full balance once I dropped off the rental I don't understand why charge me extra and not return my original deposit of $50.00. I will go on to say I've been renting cars for many outings trips and travels throughout the years this is by far the worst experience i've had. It's saddened to say I will not be renting with enterprise in the future. -------------------------------- Future customers please be aware of hidden charges and not being reimbursed for your original deposits!!! This is false advertisement, because I was told I will get reimbursed for my deposit but that was obviously a lie!!! Karen the manager and her staff was very rude and unprofessional. I only went here because of my insurance, but if there were other options I'd surely take it! If you think you will be in and out in a jiffy, think again! I dropped up my car at the body shop to get it repaired. Enterprise came to pick me up, the driver had asked if he can pick up another customer down the street before going to the office which I was completely fine with. When I got to the office, my reservation wasn't set up, okay probably my fault, thought it was taken care of. Had to the call insurance and set it up. My insurance gives me a credit amount a day, and most would assume you don't want to go over that limit to pay extra. They took me outside showing me different options and I felt like I was trying to get up sell. I just want to get the car within my credit and go. But you have to wait some more because they have to take it and get it washed which he said it would be 5-10 minutes which took more like 25 minutes! Shouldn't it already be cleaned and washed ready to go?.. No I guess not. To top it off, by the time I get in the car, I only have 1/8 of a gas tank! 1/8!! Really, Enterprise? So inconvenient! More time spent to get gas! Definitely set a good amount a time before planning to go somewhere or heading to work. The car on this rental agreement should not have been on the road. The right front tire had a bad repair made on the side wall. The car pulled terribly when changing lanes. The tire lost air so fast I had to fill it 3 times in an 8 hour period. I didn't have time to wait for service to change it or drive all the way back and exchange the car. Upon returning the vehicle the agent said he was sorry. That's it. The car windshield was dirty inside and out. The car was not ready by time of my reservation, and I had to wait. It took too long to get the car and returning the car the agent fumbled through the computer to close the rental. This was a terrible experience from start to finish. What happened to computerized rentals? I added all my credentials at time of reservation to avoid a long wait to pick the car up, yet I still had to go through all of that at the rental facility. The car type I reserved (Full size pick-up) wasn't available, so the agent said he would upgrade me no charge to a Jeep Grand Cherokee. I got a Jeep Compass. Not an upgrade but actually a lower class. What is going on with your company? Horrible customer service, unsafe vehicle, dishonest vehicle offering. My only regret is I haven't received a survey. I had a horrible experience with the Enterprise Rent a Car on 10656 East Colonial Drive. I got a rental car through my insurance for four days while my car was in repairs. Before taking the car out, the man told me to check the car and see if there was anything wrong with it. He said that I should note scratches longer than a dollar bill and dents bigger than the size of a quarter. There was a scratch on the back tail light about 3/4 of a dollar bill and I asked him about it, "That's not big enough, is it, I said" He agreed no, that it was too trivial to mention. I had the car for four days and drove it perhaps 20 miles total. When I returned the car, they claimed that I had caused the scratch on the back tail light. They claimed that I had been in an accident and their were two smudges on the paint on the side of the car. I told them that there was no accident and the scratch had been there and was less than the size of a dollar bill. They never asked me to note any paint smudges on the vehicle. It was obvious that the paint smudges on the side of the car could not have been caused in an accident that caused the tail light damage. Apparently, they were claiming that I was in two different accidents in the four days I had the car and the 20 miles that I drove. They said it would probably cost $100-200 to fix and they took $250 from my credit card. They gave me some number to call to complain and after I complained, they said that they would investigate. Two months later they said that they had investigated and they claimed that I was at fault for the tail light plus other small damages around the car. They charged me over $950. I recommend that you take pictures of every inch of their cars before you take it out if you rent from them. I have rented dozens of cars over the last 40 years. Just before I go out of town for Thanksgiving, my car decides not to start due to a fuel pump that needs to be replaced. After having the car towed to a repair shop, a customer service representative calls me to inform me that the part needs to be ordered and will not be in until the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. Telling the rep to keep the car over the holiday and I'll pick it up when I get back, I decided to get online and make a reservation for a rental car from Enterprise. I selected an intermediate size vehicle and made arrangements to be picked up on Tuesday morning. My driver, courteous and friendly, picked me up at home at the time I arranged, and away we go. I had a short wait time, since there was only one sales representative working the service desk, and two people were ahead of me. But when he was finished with other customers, he had my paperwork done and in a Toyota Corolla in no time. And that was including going over the paperwork and inspecting the car. Rental charge for the week was $130.00. Unlimited mileage. With tax and fees, the total came up to $157.76. There is also a $200.00 deposit, which is waived when the car is returned. And Enterprise requires that the car be returned with at least a half a tank of gas. No problem there. The Toyota Corolla handled well, and had great gas mileage. Thirty-eight miles to the gallon highway! And for being a smaller car, it was comfortable for my trip. The only issue I had with Enterprise was when I returned the car in on that Tuesday morning it was due. Another customer service rep working the service desk handled my paperwork and informed me that the total cost came up to over $400.00. Pointing out the correct charge on my receipt from the day I picked up the car, he then corrected the total amount for the rental. But for some reason, the amount of $357.76 ( The $157.76 rental charge and $200.00 deposit) was charged to my credit card account twice. I then had to bring that to the customer service representative's attention, which was later corrected when I contacted my credit card company about the issue. So the total charged to my account was $157.76. Other than that, I was really happy with my rental car. Enterprise helped me get on the road for the holiday, and the staff was friendly, prompt, and courteous. And a shout out for keeping my cell phone in a safe place until I came back to pick it up after realizing I left it there in the waiting area. Plus there was no sales pitch for added insurance or other outrageous fees. Enterprise Car Rental has several sizes of cars available. From compact on up. Plus they also rent trucks, for anyone needing to move or haul something on the weekend. If I am in a situation where I need to rent a car, I will most likely come back to Enterprise. Especially if my car decides to break down before another major holiday or vacation. read more

I will admit the 1st car has a weird smell but they quickly swapped it out for me without any restrictions... and then a few days later I realized I had forgotten my garage door opener in the car so I called thinking it was gone for good. One the agent who helped clearly didn't want to be there and was annoyed I didn't want to pay the extra $10 per day for a larger car. The car itself had all the back seat seat belts jammed under the seats and was still dirty. Refer to the picture for what the inside of the console.looked like when I went to put my Phone charger in. Then when I had to call the agent to help with seat belts he made a comment to another customer about me not wanting to pay the upgrade amount. Then when we finally got out the car alignment was off and needed an adjustment so it drove like crap. This was all around a bad experience. I gave Enterprise a chance because I typically rent from a competitor through work and remembered them being a good company but wow has thay changed. Won't be making this mistake again. read more

I only went here because of my insurance, but if there were any other options I would take it! I was provided a rental fairly promptly. Check out clerk and I inspected ONLY the vehicle's upper body - as I've done with numerous previous rentals, we did not observe damage beyond the normal wear and tear. Upon return 4 days later the Enterprise clerk performed a very rigorous and extensive inspection; inspecting under the vehicle, in the wheel wells, and found "damage" under the passenger side door - "damage to the undercarriage under the passenger side front door", which was only visible from a certain angle with the front passenger door open (Enterprise clerk did not open the doors to inspect nor did he inspect under the vehicle) This "damage" did not occur during our rental. I only drove this rental to work, on the same roads that I drive my own vehicle. Corporate customer care is non-existent, haven't found anyone who would hear my side of the story even after even e-mailing my account of the experience.
