Look, if I told you all the background to this story, one of us would be dead before I finished. :) It's ridiculous. Suffice it to say, my husband and I spent over 7 hours over three days trying to get our car rental reserved. We'd be guaranteed a vehicle and then, an hour later, be told it wasn't stock, we'd redo the reservation at another location and . . . Wait, I did just state that I wasn't going to go into all of the details, right? Right. Let's just say that by the time I drove to the Orlando airport to pick up the car, we were exhausted. "We" mainly being ME. Though my husband was irritated, I was somewhat further down the spectrum. Enter Agent Abdo. Are you kidding me with this guy? Soft spoken, professional, kind, magazine-quality smile. "Can I help you" is a phrase all too often used by folks who have no intention of ever helping you. They're just there to watch the clock till lunch. Not Abdo. He was so personable and willing to help in whatever way he could. While countless customer service agents, three supervisors, one district manager and, probably, a partridge in a pear tree, couldn't come up with a solution, Mr. Abdo came up with three right there on the spot. Not only was I NOT told it couldn't be done, I was told I had options. Abdo went so far and above with me and my husband that I just had to write. We all somehow find our voice when it's time to complain but we need to remember to use that same voice - just as loudly - when someone steps up to help. Thank you, Abdo. Arrived from the airport after my reservation was booked and paid for in full. The booth they put you in to speak with an employee was so unprofessional in a very tight enclosed booth. You could see the bedroom in the background of representative talking to you through a monitor in a booth. Attempted to try and convince us that additional collision insurance was mandatory from what we PSIs Expedia and also from their company directly which would have made us pay for insurance twice. I've been an Enterprise Platinum member for years and rent from them nonstop -- week after week for work travel. I went to the Tampa Airport location for a scheduled vehicle swap, and the experience was honestly shocking. They told me they had no cars available, yet I was literally watching trucks and other vehicles being returned right in front of me. To make it worse, I checked online while I was standing there, and the exact classes I needed were showing as available right now. Despite that, the agent still refused to give me a vehicle and just sent me away with the same vehicle I had just informed him was trembling at 70mph on the highway. As a loyal Platinum member who rents constantly, this was unacceptable, frustrating, and completely disrespectful. Easily the worst experience I've had with Enterprise. read more

I had turned in my vehicle today at MCO Airport return, a man had opened that back of the car as my wife and I were getting out and said we were all good. We then went upstairs to order an UBER. in the UBER I had noticed that my bag with all my stuff to include my money saved for a cruise since the Federal Government is shut down, and not getting a paycheck for over a month now. I had call Enterprise to say I had left the bag in the floor board back seat. We had arrived to get a run around, after about 30 to 40 minutes a guy walked up with the bag. It had felt lite when was handed to myself. I opened and seen was missing my credit card billfold and money that I was in the bag about 3600 dollars, that was saved for a vacation and cruise for my wife and I. Then had talked to the lady helping me and explained what was missing and about 30 minutes later the same guy had brought my billfold that was in my bag to me, but no money. they had said they watched videos and the guy came out of the card with my billfold and bag as he was cleaning but can not see all the parts. So still out the cash here till Dec 2n now have no money for food or cruise till I go back to South Korea where I work for the US Army there, who can help with this. And never renting from Enterprise ever again and will post this on my Facebook and tell all members to rent from someone not having Enterprise in there organization. read more

I reserved a vehicle for our family vacation. Arrived late evening with 5 young children. Only to find out that they didn't have the vehicle we reserved. They offered a car that rents for $150.00 less. Offered free gas and tolls. When the final invoice came to me they charged for the gas and tolls and taxed them on top of it. This was the only place that accommodated a large car at short notice. Traveling with a group of 6 and didn't have transportation planned ahead of time this place was a blessing! I'm being generous with my ratings cause they saved us. But the place smelled like a gym locker walking in. And the car wasn't in the best condition. Dirty and had stains. But can't complain at short notice. The gentleman who helped was super nice and did his job getting us a car! I personally was helped by Rodley at this location and if I could award him 10 customer service stars, I would! My boyfriend and I were in a car accident June 7th and our rental coverage works with Enterprise. We didn't know at the time but we needed a rental for around a month. Rod was polite, answered all questions and dealt with my countless calls regarding our rentals return date. Never once did he make me feel like I was annoying or asking stupid questions. I also decided to downsize the first vehicle they provided to us and that process was seamless. we had the option to leave our vehicle at our repair shop upon pickup and that process was seamless as well. Enterprise on Orange St, Was great they took care of us after the Landstreet location said they don't rent cars even though we had a confirmation for that location. They sent us to Orange St at close time. Chris and Emily were out of cars except for a recent return which they stayed late and cleaned and turned over so we had a rental to use. We had so many issues with Priceless Car Rental who denied us the rental and refund then You stepped up to help us. Thank you. We will NEVR recommend Priceless or any of their ripoff company brands, NextCar, CarWiz, Advantage, Best or Priceless. All of which try to rip off customers with forced added extorsion insurance addons. We met and had all of the required insurance documents per the rental terms of agreement and they still tried to force us to buy their ripoff insurance stating they could not accept 2 insurances yet with the 1 accepted and their high priced insurance would still be 2 insurances. I will never rent from this location again. When I went to return the car from my most recent trip, they threatened that if I didn't take the car to get it detailed, they would charge $300 excessive cleaning fee due to pet hair. I was absolutely shocked. The car was completely clean and there was no reason for an extra cleaning charge. After a few minutes of going back and forth with the woman who worked there, I decided there was no point. I called customer service and handled it myself. I also think it's worth noting that I overheard her trying to do the same thing to another customer trying to return their car. Feels like a scam so I do not recommend renting a car from this location. Absolutely DONE with this location. This is now the SECOND time they have not had a car available. Beware: they have a chronic lack of inventory at this location and zero inclination to lift a finger to assist you. My husband received the call 30 minutes prior to our reservation (as we were on our way out the door with all our luggage) to let us know they have no cars, only a pickup truck. What is the point of a reservation??? Received a (obviously useless) confirmation email, # 1875058210. My husband asked if they could check with the SoDo location for available vehicles. She promised to call him back. Guess what, it's hours later and not only no call back but that location is CLOSED on Sunday. JFC, they don't even have the common courtesy to let us know?? Staff professionals, Enterprise Operations, and management was terrible! I called them a day in advance, and they had no cars when I showed up. The waiting room was full of people waiting for a car. I finally got my car 1 hour and 45 min later. It amazes me that a national car rental company not having any cars. I would think the local or district manager would move cars around to address bottlenecks at local rental centers. Also, National Managers would have enough cars to meet demand in regional markets. This is like going to McDonald's, and they don't have hamburgers and fries. So my opinion was on site staff no issues. Our rental ended up with a flat tire. We put the spare on ourselves which is a full size tire but bc its a different tire pattern we have to get a new rental however we're on vacation w family and need a certain size vehicle which they don't have so now we have to pay for a new tire out of pocket. No one will help us get this figured out. We have now lost $700 in Disney tickets, stuck w no car, and on hold for over 3 HOURS! This is absolutely ridiculous! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! Enterprise Car Rental Company is, generally, the most convenient rental agency for me. However, our most recent experience with Enterprise had a flaw. Upon return of the rented vehicle to Rosen Center, 9840 International Drive, Orlando, Florida all of my confidence in that company fell apart. At the return time of 3:00 p.m. on April 5th I was met with disappointment. I asked for a ride back to my hotel just 4 miles distant. All three of the Enterprise employees present declined to provide transportation. All three of those people were indifferent to my need and were, otherwise, just involved in playful chat with each other. There were no other customers present and I was attended to only after saying "excuse me, I would like to return a car". None of the three were even interested in seeing whether or not I had filled the gas tank. I was asked "how would you rate Enterprise customer service?". My response was "Until now it was great". Too bad Enterprise - your Rosen Center Staff is populated with unconcerned individuals. My taxi fee back to my hotel was $42, another major disappointment since the distance was only 4 miles. read more

As an Executive Elite customer you would think that returning a car would be a simple matter. A week AFTER the car was returned, it shows my rental is overdue and the branch hasn't/ won't close it out so that a receipt can be obtained. Four (4) phone calls have been made and I am told each day it has been escalated to the branch. I have never had anything happen like this in the past four years. Customer NO-service says they cant contact the branch in Orlando (MCO). After raising a stink, they magically can call the branch but only get voicemail. There solution was to drive to a local branch (59 miles away) and they could possible get it resolved. At this point there is nothing else they say they can do. Unbelievable!!! read more

One year ago I would have said this was a great location, but now I am telling you don't go to this location. I thought West Colonial was bad, this location is worse. They put you in a car that smells like smoke and has low tire pressure and just because they're sold out they don't want to accommodate or switch you out but they tell you to keep the car and drive it with children inside. This location needs customer service training. It's clearly not ALL ABOUT THE CUSTOMER HERE. Its first come first serve. WOW! I went to get my tires on my personal car changed out at a local tire shop. They accidentally broke a gas line on the lift. They took my car to a shop and gave me a drive to Enterprise on Colonial. When I spoke to the person on the phone at Enterprise, they assured me that they had plenty of cars that were comparable to mine. I have a VW Phaeton. That is like the Cadillac of VW. Also, they refuse to pick me up and I was only 5 miles away. The tire shop took me up there and dropped me off. When I got there, there at 4:15 they made me wait till almost 5 pm before they got to me. Their was two customers that came after me and were taken care of before me. He told me, because I did not have a reservation that I had to wait until they were done before they were done with a count. He then gave me a small Honda. Well, I am a big guy and could barely fit in the seat. He made me go to another location down the street and they gave me a huge van. they told me that they did not understand because the place I left had plenty of cars. I guess they can look it up in the computer. Then they gave me a-- Gas guzzler huge van. Another person that worked there told me that they had vehicles ready, but they are on standby and I came too late. What I did notice is that other costumers came in without a reservation and got cars immediately. One guy pulled out his police badge and got a mid-size car immediately. I guess some people are just worth more than others. Solution: give a comparable car, give me a car that you said, if you make someone wait that long-- pick up the car while I wait, and do not have a hierarchy system for customers. They could have picked up the car, so someone does not have to drive to the next station. The car they gave me was on E! I did not know if it would make it to the next station. I would avoid this location. I have a rental car for a few months and every location I have been to as a Plus member has been great. I was told I can have up to 3 different cars per month and I really wanted a charger. All the local locations I've called in the past few days were a great help except this one. I was a 2 miles away at my office and thought I would call to see if they have a changer. So I called and after being placed on hold I was told they could not tell me. I argued with the guy and he said he could not tell me what they currently have. So being so close I drive by and see a charger on the lot. See picture. Not sure how a reservation can be made without the vehicle being available, but it happened. I reserved a truck since I had to pickup some flooring but they acted surprised when I showed up and didn't have one available. Further, I had already waited almost 30 minutes for my turn in line and another 30 minutes of them fumbling around trying to find one. The option presented to me was to drive to another location 20-30 minutes away, then another 20-30 minutes back since I was heading in the opposite direction. All said and done once the paperwork is finished, we're easily talking about an extra 1.5 - 2 hours, which was unacceptable considering: 1. I already was there for almost an hour. 2. Full disclosure: I didn't actually have to pay for anything. The insurance company covered all charges. Regardless, the whole staff couldn't have been more helpful and GENUINELY friendly. Enterprise locations in New York, by comparison, are miserable and I'm so glad there's a high counter separating them and me. They give you crappy cars with missing headlights.. NOT HERE! Vincent Sclafani was an amazing agent who went above an beyond the call of duty. I had an unpleasent experience in one my my rentals and was able to return it quick and easy. Most importantly, Vincent was eager to replace it with no issues whatsoever. I had returned two vehicles for personal reasons and Vincent never had an issue with replacing them. My elderly mother, myself and my 3 teenage daughters were left stranded by Thirfty on Colonial drive in Orlando. In route to this Enterprise at 4:52 pm (they close at 5:00)...I am on the phone to Enterprise explain my predicament and concerned about the place closing. The women was so sweet...booked a car, put me on hold and called the location to make sure they would wait for me. Pulled up at 4:58. The two girls (I'm sorry I didn't catch their names) bent over backwards for me. They upgraded my reservation and made a special arrangement that they didn't need to do...all while staying way over what they needed...we didn't pull out to almost 5:30. To say they saved the day is an understatement! I am beyond thankful to these two girls and this location. I will definitely rent from Enterprise again!!!! read more

My insurance company gave me a code to get a car at any enterprise location and I went to this one. They told me they are a small location and couldn't help me cause they didn't have any cars that were in my insurance price and apparently they didn't want to give me a free upgrade as any good rental car company would.
