I have been always renting with Hertz- i am recently touched by these people. These are like Hertz System License-they are not even aware that i am a President circle or Gold # 30108878. Yesterday when I went to return the rental car and My Truck toyota tacoma did not have enough scrappers or the right now - Right now i went and got from Wal-mart. I am talking about yesterday. Brittany went out of the way to help out find the right ones help out and suggest how to live in Piqua, Ohio and Sidney, ohio really touched by all her gestures. I dont think anyone in the cold will go out of the way to do all this so late while the time of closing. Above all, she said you can park there so that you dont have to walk in the cold, you can drive the truck to get the bill-very humanly and considerate. This kind of gestures should not go unnoticed ever. They should be kept on the top of the best customer service. highly exemplary - she is always enthusiastic..she will be asking what can i do when you call her even though her manager Marissa is a great asset. She makes four reservations for me without any hassle-very kind, considerate. I cannot say more words for both of them.     Zero stars. The man who works in this location should be let go. This location should be shut down…read more We had a pickup at 1 pm on July 6. The location was closed. We had to call and the customer service cancelled the reservation and created a new booking for us. I had to pay 15 usd more and also drive 45 miles to pick up a car from a different location. I had a flight to catch the next day at Chicago. As part of the booking I asked for all applicable insurance. Guess what they just gave me ldw insurance. I went to the location 45 miles down and I Asked what does it cover they said it covers everything. Guess what didn't bother to explain missing coverage. Then when I rear ended , now they say oh sorry you didn't take the liability insurance. When call customer service about anything they can't do anything. Go to the location or figure yourself out. Worst rental company staffed with college kids who don't give a damn. Never rent from Avis or Budget . Period. I shouldn't be made responsible for insurance misinformation. I want Avis to own it. If their staff are not willing to give accurate information then you shouldn't be held responsible

I stated that I didn't have a credit card and asked if I could pay with a check or money order. He told me that since he ran my debit card, I was now declined and unable to rent the vehicle. He wrote down a phone number for me to call to get my refund. I paid $250 two month ago for a vehicle I wasn't able to rent because I refuse to own a credit card. Why do they accept debit cards for the reservation but won't let you actually rent the car? And making the customer deal with a customer service line to receive a refund after they just got told that their plans are null and void?!?! Insane. It's been 48 hours and I still have not received the refund. I will never rent from nor recommend to anyone to rent or at deal with Budget car rental. The clerk behind the counter did not care whatsoever either.

    Enterprise Rental Car Horror…read more I hate to post this about Enterprise, but this was the worst rental experience I've ever had. We rented a car to go from the Hamilton, OH to Nashville, TN. for my Master's graduation (on a Tuesday). We left home about 2 hours after I rented the car and it seemed fine out of my residential area. However, further down the highway, I had to slow down from 65 mph, and the whole car shook. You could hear the ABS brakes pumping my -whoomp-whoomp -whoomp!! It washes a shock to both of us. My wife got on the phone to call the place we rented it from and they advised that we call Roadside Assistance (Not a real thing because they're never working when you need them. They need to partner with AAA to service the roadside assistance calls after 5 pm). We were already in Kentucky when she called them but the couldn't find any place to stop before CVG airport. They instructed us to go there was a short wait before the manager at the time came and talked with me, but his body language was already telling us no. He said they were short 100 cars and didn't have enough for the people arriving there. I told him we didn't feel safe driving this car any further and he said he'd see if he could find something (He didn't). He also postured that their service shop might be an option, but we might have to wait a couple of hours. I explained to him that we could not wait that long because I needed to be there in 5 hours. He went to go check and came back with an expected, "I don't have anything to switch you into, and the service center said they couldn't do anything tonight, but they can get you in Thursday". Honestly, I began to feel hot, and I told my wife that, at this point, we'd just drive the car to Nashville as it is and switch it there. That was the roughest drive I've ever had. We really thought the car was going to fall apart. Right after I left the airport, a sensor came on saying that the car had low antifreeze. We had already gone from bad to worse. This had me really upset because t that car should have never been rented, and of course, I couldn't believe that the person who last rented the vehicle didn't inform them of at least the brake problem. [Friday morning] I called Roadside Assistance on Thursday night to prepare for the return home in the morning. I was instructed that I needed to call in the morning to make the exchange. When I called Friday morning, it seemed that we were going to be able to come out of that nightmare, but boy was I wrong. We get to the Enterprise location (which was supposed to be 2 miles from Gaylord Opryland Resort) but was actually 17 miles according to my GPS. I walk in, tell the assisted my name, and he was already informed that we were coming. He asked me if a RAV4 was okay, and I was agreeable. I started to get the bags from the trunk of the first car and my wife started saying, "Really? This car is filthy!" I run over to see what she is talking about and the seats, front and back, and the seats were covered with stains from coffee, pop, pee, etc. I don't even think that was an Enterprise car, maybe someone's work car. I go back to the counter and tell the associate that the car was unacceptable. It looked like it had been underwater, and it was unclean (what made him think this would be okay for us? I have my suspicions, but that's not what this story is about). I have no words. He offers me another car, and it reeked of smoke. I asked my wife, "Did we just jump out of the skillet into a frying pan"? I couldn't believe we were having this experience. If it wasn't for the sign on the building (they don't have a street sign), and the interior decorations, I would not believe this was an Enterprise. Maybe it is closing soon and they only had refurbished cars, but honestly, we took the car (a Toyota Camry) because we just wanted to get home. We ended up driving home with the windows down for 5 hours until I pulled in the drive way. I took the car back this morning and was told a regional or zone manager would probably call me this evening (they haven't) to work something out. We've been using Enterprise for the last 21 years straight, for our ministry trips (I'm a bi-vocational pastor, and my wife co-pastors with me, and now uses Enterprise more than me), and as I traveled around the country for work, I've only used Enterprise and National after one of the rental associates told me they owned them too, and to try them out. We have never been treated like this. They sure charged us $600+ for the experience, but we should be able to choose whether to have an experience like that or not. Enterprise, you've wounded and breached a long-standing relationship, and I would like to hear from you. BTW: I waited to post this because someone above the store manager was supposed to call (They haven't!). This is 3 days after I turned it in, so I guess they don't care.
