I was pleasantly surprised by the service I received at this Enterprise Rental branch . The staff managing this office were prompt,knowledgeable and very helpful. The vehicles they have on hand were modern, clean, and most importantly transported you from point A to B safely. My only issue was somewhere during the temporary rental process it was documented that I needed to buy a vehicle from Enterprise (I didn't even know you could buy a rental car from Enterprise ... I luckily didn't need to buy a car, but it was a reasonable gesture) the sales rep was very friendly and genuinely flabbergasted after I explained why I got the temporary rental to begin with. Overall a decent experience and in a pinch I would recommend this branch location to others. read more

I believe I had Jared, who was excellent. Went in hoping for a regular sedan rental and even though they were limited in stock gave me a great deal on a small upgrade. They were fast, efficient, clear, and super easy to work with. The prices were reasonable they were super flexible about me adding a few days, and even refunded me one of those days when I decided to drop it off early. I got into a car accident (wasn't at fault) and my insurance company had me use a rental thru enterprise. Their communication was absolute trash. Apparently when I dropped the car off on Friday I received a phone call on Monday saying that there was a hairline crack in the bumper and I would have to go thru my insurance to fix it (which I have $1000 deductible so I will pretty much be paying for myself). He said I wouldn't have noticed it when I picked it up. So it just seemed extremely shady. It's so disappointing and upsetting. I didn't even pay for my own car to be repaired yet I'm paying for this. I am currently homeless. My car IS my home. Enterprise Rent-A-Car - My sharp looking rental! 2019 Chevy Impala - Car Rental Near Me - Pawtucket, Rhode Island

After renting a vehicle with Enterprise for no more than 28 miles in 2 days they claim I damaged the vehicle. When I picked up the car the guy walked around with me pointing out any damage. At the back bumper he showed me 2 dents and wrote that down on the rental agreement. I returned the vehicle to them through the auto body shop that was repairing my car. That was on a Wednesday. No representative from Enterprise was there. On Friday they called me to say there were two dents on the rear bumper that weren't there before. I told them they were there and duly noted on my copy. She then said they got worse and to contact my insurance company. My insurance company is handling this for me. NEVER Ever will I get a rental from them again. From what I read they do this all the time to people. Lesson to be learned. Video the walk around at pick up and do it upon read more

So I was in desperate need of a rental car during my visit back home to Massachusetts. Since I was staying with my friend in Pawtucket, RI, I thought I would hit up Enterprise by his house. I was left without a ride and just like the commercials, Enterprise came and picked me up. The lady assisting me was the bomb. She walked me through everything and was incredibly helpful. The process was smooth and my car was available within reasonable time. If you can, I would recommend renting the car for the weekend (Thursday-Monday). Oh when renting from Enterprise make sure you remember to leave room on your credit card for the $150 deposit. I wouldn't advise using a debit card. You have to jump through so many hoops in order to use it. Also remember that they are not open on Sundays. WeatherMan Predicts: Great service. If you are lucky enough to have Liz helping you out then you're in good shape. 60-65% chance of you Ford Focusin' it around town! They assured me the contract was all set and yet it was all messed up. I had to pay for their mistake. Please stay away from this Enterprise. I went through my insurance company to have my car repaired after being hit by another car and they sent me to a repair shop that uses this rental car location. I had the car for one day while my car was repaired and only drove it from home to work. A week after I returned it I received a notice from Enterprise that there was damage to the rental car I used. They claim there is damage to the bumper. I know this is not true, but I have no proof of it. They also claim I had the car for longer than I actually did and say I drove it over 200 miles when I barely drove it 60. I can see from other reviews on here that this sort of thing has been done to other renters. This is fraud and they are getting away with it. This was my first time renting from a non-airport location. The guys working at this location where great! I was up-graded because they did not have my selected vehicle available. The check-in process took a little longer than expected because an employee was using the vehicle at that time. The only reason for the 4 stars and not 5 is that they called me a day ahead suggesting I come in early to pick up the car because they expected to be busy however they did not tell me in doing so it would automatically change my pick up time to an earlier time. I had the unfortunate experience of renting a vehicle from this particular location of Enterprise, please note that all of their locations are not this bad. My vehicle was being repaired after being in an accident and this company is who my insurance company has a contract with to provide rental cars to their customers. I had returned my rental vehicle to the repair shop like the Enterprise agent requested it was at night on Friday June 29 ,2018. I then placed the keys to the vehicle in the dropbox they provided. When I returned home I noticed that I left my transponder attached to the windshield of the rental vehicle. I called the Enterprise location first thing in the morning on Saturday June 30, 2018 to see if I can retrieve it. They stated to me that they would send someone of this morning to retrieve the vehicle and would call me when I can come to the office and pick up the device. Near the end of the day I had not received a call back so I called them about it. They left me on hold for nearly 15 minutes until the office closed and then disconnected on me so I could not call them back. I called back on Monday thinking this may have been just an unfortunate circumstance. I eventually spoke to someone who appeared to be a supervisor who asked for the serial number on the transponder. I told her I would have to check my statement for it because I have 4 vehicles with 4 different transponders. She then disconnected from me as well. After realizing that their customer service was really this bad and it wasn't just an accident of being disconnected on I called their corporate customer service to file a complaint. They stated that they would escalate my complain and to expect a call back within 7 to 10 business days. It's a month later and that never happened either. So I had no choice but to report the transponder as missing/stolen and well let's hope they are smart enough not to try and use the device. I have used Enterprise many times before and never had this kind of issue with them. I will never be using them again. They have many competitors to choose from which hopefully offer better customer service. read more

So I was driving home from my son's dentist appointment in the miserable NE weather on Monday when I hydroplaned into the cement median getting onto route 6 east. Now I'm a busy girl, I work two jobs, go to college and have two lil people that I drive around. Not having my vehicle was not an option. Not only would this put a damper on my social life, it would negatively effect my everyday routine. Immeditiately I called my insurance, informed anyone that I would be inconveniencing and called Enterprise rental. It was 5:20 so I doubted that they could accomadate me right away but remained hopeful. Surprisingly they told me to come in and they would have a car ready for me!!!! Originally he had offered a Dodge Caliber (whatever the hell that is) but when I noticed the Kia Soul (aka the hamster mobile- long story but my husbands Nana has one, hamsters and all). It was bright green and obnoxious, I had to have it. He happily offered it instead of the Dodge whatchamacallit. Great customer service!!! read more

There has been times where I took what they were willing to give me only because they promised that when the car that I need comes in I would get a call. Weeks pass by without getting that call. My car was supposed to be in the shop for a couple days which turned out to be 3 weeks because it was when all the bad weather hit last winter. Everybody at this branch was very professional and friendly--they picked me up and dropped me off just like they advertise, they were accomodating with my not knowning when I would get my car back and they didn't charge me any extra fees, the oil light was on so I put in a quart and also wiper fluid--showed them the receipts and they subtracted the amount from my rental cost. Needed a car for a day for a quick trip up north. Called the day before, said I wanted an economy car and made a reservation. Came in the next morning, my requested car was ready. Did the paper work and went over the car and what they will accept for damage. I was offered insurance but since I was not doing any city driving or parking, I declined. The car, a Nissan Altima, was clean with a quarter tank and fun to highway drive. Staff was very polite, pleasant and professional. Though I didn't ask for a ride over, and they didn't offer, they did give me a ride home which was great. Next time I would probably ask to be picked up. Otherwise, I had a good experience renting from this Enterprise location, I wouldn't hesitate to use them again and would recommend them. read more

After 30 days of paying for my rental in full I was asked to come back in and sign a new agreement which as I understand it was policy. I had told someone at the branch that I work between 14-16 hours a day and that I would call them back and schedule an appointment to come back in. The next day I was held up at work so I did not call into the branch. In my mind they had my credit card on file and I had paid what was owed so me calling them back in a couple days would not be that big of a deal having just paid 30 days. 3 days later I recieved a call asking where the vehicle was in which I answered it is still with me and let me pay my current balance. They then responded that the car was to be returned immediately because we have reported it stolen. I was then asked to drive it in which I refused because I was not going to drive a vehicle that was reported stolen. So the manager named Sarah came to my local business to pick up the vehicle instead. She did not apologize for the incident but instead offered me an explanation which was I quote "WITH THE KIND OF PEOPLE WE GET HERE WE USUALLY REPORT THE VEHICLE STOLEN SOONER." After calling the enterprise phone line I made a complaint on friday and waited til Monday to hear back from Tyler the Regional Manager. Who instead of apologizing for the incident and we appreciate the business decided to try and blame me for not calling back when I said I would and that one day was more than enough for them to call the police at their discretion. He also offered to set me up with another rental car at another location if I liked. read more

They really "will pick you up" AND in my case drive you home! I got dropped thinking the insurance company had squared away the car but they hadn't. I was the one that got hit so i was quite PO'd but knew it wasn't Enterprise's fault. I called my wife and while asking her to pick me up the salesman offered to drive me home. I rented a car to travel from RI to Maine. They gave me a free upgrade, picked me up and dropped me off when I returned. Best customer service, the staff were all very friendly. The rental fees were very reasonable. The put a $200 hold since I paid by debit card, and when I returned the car the $200 was credited to my account within a few days. read more

With having a family member who works for this company, I have always had the upmost respect for Enterprise. However, that respect was lost today. With the weather being as horrible as it is, there are state recommendations that everyone should avoid driving and businesses are recommended to send their employees home. As I look out of my living room window, I can barely see my neighbors house across the street. I find it absolutely ludicrous that Enterprise has the audacity to NOT send their employees home early. What kind of business is this? Do you really expect to accrue customers in this weather? You clearly do not care for the safety of your employees!!!!! You would rather earn a few extra dollars and put your employees lives at risk, then do the proper human thing and send them home early. i was provided a rental car via my insurance carrier while my car was in repair. i specifically told them i needed a car that fit someone 6'8". i was picked up at the body shop and taken to the Pawtucket branch. i had two options, a Fiat or an SUV. The SUV was the only one that fit but it would cost me out of my own pocket. i was also told that this happened because the insurance company worked things out with the Providence Branch; they happened to have several models. They could / would not take me to the Providence branch. Bait and switch? Scam? Not sure but it sure felt like it. Nothing wrong with the SUV but i paid over $250 out of my own pocket due to their incompetence! i will never rent from Enterprise again. read more
