This review necessarily will be a little long, but I want whoever reads this to know just how committed Fernanda is to her clients. We first met in early January when I wanted to begin traveling through South America. Medellin, Colombia was to be my 1st stop. I met with Fernanda on a Friday and we began to work out details. I was to return early Saturday afternoon to finalize them. Unfortunately, I was delayed and did not get there until shortly after office hours and Fernanda had left for the day. I messaged her, and she said she would return to the office, which she did. Because I was not sure how long I would be staying in Colombia, I purchased a one-way ticket. When I got to Mexico City, I was informed by an airline agent I would have to have a ticket out of Colombia or Colombian authorities would not allow me to enter the country. I had about 1.5 hours before my scheduled flight to Colombia. I called Fernanda, and within about 40 minutes, she had booked and paid for a flight from Bogota to Quito, Ecuador for a month after I arrived in Colombia. I felt reasonably sure I would need to change the Quito flight at some time because i did not know how long I would want to stay in Colombia. When I was ready to fly from Medellin to Bogota, I messaged Fernanda, who made flight reservations for me. She is very careful to send tentative itineraries for clients to approve. I looked at the itinerary she sent, and it seemed fine. However, it wasn't. We BOTH missed the fact the wrong flight had been booked. It was as much my error as hers. I discovered this about 9:00pm before my flight the next morning. I immediately sent a message to her. Even though it was well after office hours, she promptly responded. Within about an hour, everything was corrected and she had me on the correct flight to Bogota. The entire South American trip is very open-ended. After 3 weeks in Colombia, I was ready to travel to Ecuador. I contacted Fernanda, and she found a suitable flight for me from Bogota to Ecuador and also booked a flight to my next stop for my South American travels. As I hope this review conveys clearly, Fernanda is extremely willing to go above and beyond in helping her clients have a great travel experience. To say I recommend her strongly, exceedingly strongly is an understatement. She is friendly, efficient, and extremely willing to help. Book your travels with her and you will be in good hands.

Well, this hotel is literally across the street from the airport. Melissa, the receptionist,was very friendly and helpful. I had several questions and was needing some assistance,she went above and beyond. The room was very clean and the furniture very modern. They also have signs all around " stating that you must wear a mask at all times if you are not in your room" . In all, am glad we stayed at this hotel, it made our travel, much easier.

The rooms are ALL now SMOKE-FREE so it smells pretty clean here. They do have a weight room and it's so nice and clean here I need to repeat that once more. Parking is great and spacious, the hotel manager is a prude but easily ignorable if you try. Note: please keep your card key in the sleeve they provide you or it will deactivate. This is the problem we ran into and a man let us in who had a broken leg, when we told the manager about our card, she just said "okay". Nothing like "I'll get you another one" or even at LEAST "okay I'll reactivate it in a moment if you could wait for me there at the front desk". It was a confusing situation but eventually the female prude acknowledged us and reactives our key. Then LECTURING us on how we better keep the card in the sleeve and not in a productive "I care" manner. More of a sour bitter "I hate my job and the people who stay here" type of tone. That's the only complaint. Everything else and everyone else was friendly and very pleasurable to stay here.

I can usually check into my flight and get through TSA security easily in 10 to 15 minutes. If you don't have pre-check it may take a little longer. The airport was recently remodeled and expanded and functions really well. As you approach TSA there will be a Border Patrol agent who may ask to see your documentation. If you don't fly often, get familiarized with what is allowed in your carry-ons and prepare accordingly. It's frustrating when others in front of you have not done their homework, have not prepared, or think they don't have to follow the rules, so they hold up the lines for everyone else. Yes, going through security is a little inconvenient, but it's for our safety. The employees here have always treated me with dignity. The pre-check lane is open all the time these last couple of years. While pre-check people are not required to remove their belt, my belt buckle is a little larger than some as the belt is reversible. So I always remove it prior to getting in line. This airport still usually requires pre-check people to remove their computer and electronics from the case. It pays to ask as the rules change. Be respectful, follow the rules and you should have a smooth experience.

(We got there Friday afternoon) His customer service wasn't the best but anyway moving on to the room we get to the room and turn on the AC (yes I know you need to give it time for the room to get cold) but after a couple of minutes of turning it on there was a lot of HEAT coming from the actual ac unit and smelled like something was burning! Me having 3 kids did not want them to smell that burning smell so i called William at the front desk and he told me he was going to switch me rooms. I turned off the ac and went downstairs. William then switched me to another room Right Next Door to the room that smelt like burn. 2. The new room was very poorly kept. The chair was broken. The ac was broken. There were black marks on the walls. After constantly fiddling with the ac it worked but at this point my kids were tired and ready to take a nap. So we stayed there. 3. Saturday; BOTH elevators were broken!!! This was just the icing on the cake for me. The elevator on the left was broken when we got there but the one on the right broke apparently Saturday and everytime we had to go to our room we had to go to the third floor with 3 kids. One is an infant so of course we had to go up the stairs carrying her! Keep in mind it's sooo hot outside and there NO AC IN THE STAIRWELL!!! 4. Finally, Sunday I was ready to leave this hotel! When checking out I showed all pictures to Marcelino (new front desk) (his attitude was much more empathetic and sweet) I always take pictures of things that were broken/wrong with the room the day I go to it. And he had no words for why the room was so poorly kept. Yes bed was comfy, location was the only good thing about this hotel but tbh I rather drive all over town to get to the mall or anything than to stay here again. The amount I paid is ridiculous due to the conditions of this whole hotel! Never have I been to a la Quinta with these poor conditions .

But part of the reason we chose this one was because they allow our feathered family member. The staff is pleasant and helpful. Water pressure and the temperature of the hot water was not very good. I could not tell if the hotel is new or being remodeled outside, but I think it is older with weak water pressure. Our room came attended by a gecko that hid in the air conditioning unit but the gecko did not bother us, nor did we bother it. The room was extremely clean, and as I said before the staff has outstanding customer service skills. We would probably stay here again just based on how welcome we felt.

The bus company names are all displayed clearly at the top of their counters and behind the counter, on the wall, there are monitors displaying their destinations, time of departure and price. I'm sure most personnel speak English but don't be surprised if they only speak Spanish or have a hard time understanding English. It's one of the simplest, cleanest, bus stations I've been to.
