Yes if you need to rent a TV this is not the place but if you want a rental car or truck then here you go! It was easy and the only issue was i had to pay fir it. No complimentary rides available but i kinda assumed that so i paid and drove away with a nice rental car. The instructions were clear about returning the vehicle and what i was required to fo. It was clean and fully loaded and that was nice. Well it didn't have navigation but who needs directions when you are on vacation! I enjoyed the place and was not concerned by Covid-19 (aka the Wuhan Flu) but nice clean place and the staff was pleasant too. read more

I got into a car accident and needed a rental car on a Friday. I spoke with a CSR at Enterprise's national intake facility who got me set up with my local office. Gabby was delightful despite my constant questions and was able to set a pickup for me before they closed for the week. Unfortunately, my address was garbled from home office and they went to the wrong address for the pickup. Not only did Gabby have Lukas bring my car to my house but also sent Erin to complete my transaction so I could have a car for the weekend!!! Smooth process dropping off my rental vehicle here. Friendly staff and clean waiting area.

Set up a rental reservation for 6505 Folsom. I call ahead and Ivan tells me "actually go pick up your car at Arden location" ...so now I have to change locations, no problem. I pick up my car from Arden and as I'm driving around I notice the car smells like smoke (cigarettes). I take back to place of original reservation. (6505 Folsom) and I explain to Ivan that this is unacceptable and that I need a new car that doesn't stink. Ivan tells me "well now I can't rent that car out so I can't give you one of my cars". Ivan's solution is to make me drive it back to Arden even though I'm already at the Folsom location. And I want to point out, they are alll named ENTERPRISE. I ask to speak to the manager, Ivan throws his business card at me and says "I'm the manager, I'm not trading out your car." I was shocked at how unprofessional and rude he was. I drove back to Arden and was helped, but Ivan ruined enterprise for me. I will not be using enterprise ever again, all because Ivan wanted to have an upset day and take it out on the customer. Enterprise: It's your first time you're renting so because you have a debit card (even one with over $6k on it) we need proof of address, pay stub, mothers maids name, blood type, 3 references including one from your priest and presidential pardon. ME: That seems alot since no one else asks for proof of address and other forms of ID outside your DL and card. Enterprise: That's our policy since we do a terrible job vetting our clients so we do this to protect our terrible decision making. ME: I've used enterprise before and this never was required. Doesn't this just make it easier to lose customers to another rental car place for the SAME AMOUNT and LESS HASSLE. Enterprise: Yes, but we think our rude, snarky and curt service will make you appreciate them MORE after talking to us. As a matter of fact I will cancel your reservation and hang up on you although you've never yelled nor got rude with me in return just because I'm entitled. Now poor boy with no credit card go away to Hertz I'm sure they have a Kia for you. Now I'll hang up on you to really seal the deal. ME: Left in disbelief. Obviously... I'll never use this place and after telling my friends about my experience they canceled their reservations for a upcoming Reno trip. Whoever this guy was IMHO "THE POWER" of being manager of a enterprise seems to have gave him a power trip. I don't usually write poor reviews, but I think it may have been because of a poor experience finding a car rental while my car was in the auto shop that gives this 2 out of 5 stars. Do keep in mind that I didn't have much knowledge about car rentals and this was my first time going through the process of renting a car (making reservations, etc.). I was looking for an economy car everywhere in Sacramento and was shocked at the lack of availability, but I do understand that many cars are being rented out under their insurance so it takes a while for a car to return. I was to the point I decided to settle for whatever rental was available the day of. Fast forward, I called this location (Folsom Blvd) and was told they only had a truck available and would allow me to rent it with the rate of an economy car. However, I think the representative should've been honest about the truck. I was a little anxious because I've never driven a truck before and I asked how big it was and he just said, "It just a truck." Upon my arrival, I honestly didn't feel welcomed by the staff. The representative put me into this HUGE truck.. It twice the size of a compact car. I also did feel a little incompetent when he was going over the contract because like I said before, this was my first time going through this process, and he didn't seem like the type to want to explain it to me. The next day, I wanted to switch out a truck for a smaller vehicle because I was honestly paranoid and anxious that I was going to hit anything (That's why I reserved a compact car). Long story short, I went to an Enterprise in Stockton to switch it out and they found dents in the roof. I realized then the representative from Folsom Blvd didn't even inspect the truck with me. He just put me in a truck, made me sign a contract, showed me basic controls, and off I went. It caused my experience to be much of a hassle. I think if he asked more about my situation, I think he would've been more understanding or communicative that I shouldn't have been a truck in the first place and he shouldn't assume I know everything... that's a part of what customer service is. I wouldn't have minded being transferred to another Enterprise or told that there may availability a different time. read more

The Most Reasonable Rates on the Road SIT-REP I rent a lot of cars through my work. Since my training-team travels all over the State of California to conduct trainings out of our 24 regional state offices, we have lots of opportunities to be driving ENTERPRISE rental vehicles. THE SET-UP Since the State of California has it's rental contract set-up with Enterprise, it really is a hassle free process of renting cars when conducting state business. We usally make the reservations ONLINE ahead of time. but we could walk in without an appointment and get a rental service set-up pretty fast as well. An agent or agents that are dedicated to the State contract whisk us away pretty darn fast to take us to a selection of cars within the ECON or INTERMEDIATE (the one I always choose) class categories. Sometimes I'm not even at the Enterprise rental office 10 minutes. LOCATIONS Even though I use other locations in other parts of the state more, I am really quite partial to the location here at 65th & Folsom since it's just a hop and skip by light rail from both work and home. But as far as airports go, my favorite office is at the BURBANK (Bob Hope) Airport. They have relatively recently constructed a new car terminal, and even though it is considered OFF-SITE from the Airport campus, it is still pretty dam close and their shuttle services always has a shuttle in the loop within a few minutes. PRIVATE OPTION CONFUSION I have a membership through the state, but it also does double duty as my personal membership as well, which can sometimes cause confusion: when I want to rent as a private party, the dam website always tries to default me to the business party side, which is more (since it presumes the state contract rate with all the attendant insurances and other fees). As a private party with my own insurance, I can get a cheaper basic rate which is what I want to get as a private party. And though Enterprise usually has a less expensive daily rate than Alamo, Budget or Hertz (to name just a few other competitors), they don't have a REWARDS program like the others. Sometimes I would rather pay just a few dollars more with Alamo or Budget since they will throw a Half RAPID REWARDS credit my way as well, and as often as I rent cars, this adds up pretty quick for me as a free SouthWest Airline's Rapid Reward Round Trip. THE LOWDOWN If you want a good, inexpensive, no frills car rental, Enterprise will fit the bill! read more

Update - After I called corporate to complain about Ivan (who had told me calling corporate would do no good), Ivan had to call me back to settle up the final amount. He had previously told me that I'd have to pay for fuel despite the fact that the capless gas tank would not make a seal for the nozzle to allow for the flow of fuel (I couldn't get gas to go into the little pice of crap hybrid). And corporate, of course, covered that amount for me due to the difficulty I was having with the car AND Ivan. So, at that point, Ivan had been a dick and had told me that going above his head would do no good. But guess what, it had done some good. That must've steamed him cuz when he called me to settle up, he just had to say something to the effect of, "Yeah, we put gas in it no problem, so don't know why you had so much trouble." He could've just called and given me the final amount. I didn't ask about the gas cap thing. This was his last chance to get back at me and he took it. Ivan, you just can't help but be a complete asshole, can you? Enterprise, if you're reading this, I will NEVER rent a car from you again. And the reason is a turd of a person named Ivan. read more

This is the best rental car office in the area. I had the unfortunate experience of being in a car accident, due to another driver turning left in front of me. My car was totaled and I needed to rent a car so that I could get to school. Tomi, the Enterprise employee who helped me out, provided outstanding customer service. She's friendly and full of contagious energy. She put me in a car that I had never heard of but she was excited about it so I found myself thinking "oh goody!" When the other driver's crummy insurance carrier didn't do their part, Tomi followed up with them so that I didn't have to deal with them and/or pay for the rental and wait to be reimbursed. Everything turned out perfectly. I probably won't need to rent a car anytime soon unless someone else tries to murder me with their vehicle. If that happens, at least I'll have Enterprise to look forward to. read more

The only reason I didn't give this place five stars is because their parking lot is kind of a nightmare. The spots are REALLY small, so if you don't get anxiety just trying to park or back out, you have nerves of steel. Other than that, the staff is friendly and prompt. read more

This place doesn't even deserve one star. I made a reservation with them a few weeks in advance. I was called multiple times to confirm my reservation which I did. I tried to schedule a pick up in advance but was told that I had to do it 30 minutes prior to pick up. The day of I called and was told we don't pick up at that location I can transfer you to the rancho cordova office. I'm thinking why in the hell wouldn't you ask where I was being picked up when I was called 5 times for a confirmation. Thankfully rancho cordova was able to accommodate me. I booked everything online and the next morning came in to pick it up. Eric was magnificent and made it a smooth and painless process (it was my first time renting so I was clueless). After car trouble required me calling AAA to get a tow, I called my local Enterprise location (1.5 miles away). They promised to pick me up by 2:15 pm and to get me a rental. At 2:45, I called again as I had not heard from them. I spoke to Tom, who acted like he literally could not care less when I asked where the driver was and informed him I was supposed to be picked up half an hour ago. He said the driver wasn't at the office so he should be there any time. I called again at 3:15 and spoke to Tom, who said they sent the driver out again and he didn't know what happened. Malik, the driver, finally showed up shortly after and, though he seemed pleasant enough, offered no explanation for being an hour late. When I saw Tom at the office, he also failed to explain, nor did he apologize. Meanwhile, I missed two hours of work completely unnecessarily. I could have walked to Enterprise in half that time. I think this is the first bad review I have ever written, but WOW. What a poor excuse for customer service. Spare yourself the frustration and choose a different location if you have the option. read more

My insurance agreed to cover my rental for $30/day... They knew this; so naturally, I figured my rental company would accommodate the need. The dude handed me the keys to a Nissan Ultima, and a sheet of paper that said $34/day... "Sign here..." He says... Sign here my ass!! I remember thinking to myself... Me-"Don't you have anything cheaper? Something my insurance will cover?"... Dude-"Yeah, I guess... That Ford Fusion is probably ready; it's $28/day and actually a little nicer." Me-***blank stare*** The fact that he would set me up in a lesser vehicle (I agree, the Ford was nicer) for more money, knowing that I only had $30/day to spend is asinine. This office is operated by a bunch of clip-on tie wearing amateurs... Not that I expected much more. The car worked out fine... I returned it to a different location (at the airport) where the service was MUCH better. read more

Having my car tuned up a block from Enterprise and needed a car for a few hours and probably 5 miles of driving. They insisted in charging a full day the cost of which I could use Uber All day going everywhere for the same amount. I found them unaccommodating unfortunately. I rented a Nissan Rogue which was very nice, however my warranty would not cover a Nissan since I have a Chevy! They allowed me to return the Nissan after 3 hrs to exchange for a Chevy which my warranty would cover. Very friendly staff!! Cal and when I moved up to Sacramento I was happy to hear my job has a contract with them. I rent cars a lot of work, since I am traveling all over the state to do evaluations. This was my first time using Enterprise, and decided to go through them since they have a contract with the state. I really appreciated the fact that I when I called in the morning to ask for a ride to the rental office, the estimated time of pick up from my house was pretty dead on. From there I had to rent a van since there were multiple people riding with me and when we did the inspection of the van I noticed that the front tires were pretty much flat. The manager(?) made a remark about the tire pressure being low, and took the van in the back of the office and filled it up. A few minutes later she brought the van back around and handed me the keys and I took the car on good faith, thinking that they fixed it. Oh, I was so wrong. Throughout the trip I had to pull off to multiple gas stations and fill up the tires to make sure there was enough air, which was fairly frightening but I didn't think too much of this inconvenience. Things like this happen quite a bit with rental cars, and I never thought to make a big deal about it. When I returned the car a couple days later I didn't mention to them that the tires were faulty, which I wish I would have now. But the whole reason I thought to write this review was because of the statement the same employee said to me as I was leaving. When I asked about the receipt and if it was a direct charge to my work, she said quite loudly, "Yes it is a direct charge, right from my pocket and tax money. Just sayin." I work for the state, and the state of CA has a contract with Enterprise. Not me personally, so why would you take it out on me? I was offended, not by the statement, (because everyone is entitled to their opinion) but as a customer who was just insulted by the establishment I gave business too. This rude service, combined with the lack of examination to the cars makes me rethink renting cars from them again. The state has a contract with multiple companies, so I might as well give the others a try first before I come back to this 64th street location. read more

Although parking is the pits, they are excellent in customer service. I had rented a car for my daughter the week before and they still had it, when I had to take my car in for body work. Normally, they would NOT rent two different cars at the same time, but they waived that considering the circumstance. They called my insurance company, because there were some glitches in the way they had written the order up. Both in customer service and speed of renting and returning, I give them FIVE STARS! I just rented from this location and I was really impressed by the service I received. I was meant to pick up my car the night before but didn't get there in time. I called in the morning and spoke to the manager Eric and he assured me they'd have a car for me. Not only did they have a car for me at the time I we agreed, it was parked out front and they helped me get through the paperwork pretty quickly.
