Would give no star if possible. BEWARE. This location is appointment only and they never around. Fleet consists of whatever is left after the other co-managed locations have provided vehicles to their renters. Their solution to honoring online rentals is to have the customer uber to their Cypess location and hope they can rustle up a car by the time the client gets there. According to their service associate, any misinformation or inability to honor reservations is not their fault and clients are instructed to contact "corporate". If this were an isolated case I'd probably let it go. It isn't. Another person with a reservation was directed to this office by his insurance company. The only available vehicle for him is a pick up truck and he will have to wait an hour or more until the enterprise employee returns from picking up another client in Cerritos. I have rented from enterprise at airports for years and always get good service. The lack of accountability at community bases offices is crazy. read more

I have rented here several times and it's been a smooth experience every time. Good car, smooth check-in, no hassle check out. Each time I've been helped by an employee named Chris. He treated me like a friend, even family, rather than some guy renting a car. If Chris became CEO of Enterprise someday, that would be a good thing for Enterprise. read more

Nearest location to my parents house and located INSIDE the Ayres Hotel. Although only one person is there at a time, with an appointment everything went smoothly. It was my first time renting a car and it was everything I expected. Nope. Don't rent here if you can avoid it. They say it's by appointment only. I had the first appointment for the morning and no one showed up for 20 minutes. Finally, a woman slowly strolled in, texting on her phone. No acknowledgment that she was late, no apology for making me wait, just acting like it's no big deal to be late for an appointment. Had she just said she was sorry for being late or something, I wouldn't be writing this. She clearly lacks all customer awareness. No thanks. Won't go there again. read more

This was my first car rental... Ever. We are new to the area and needed a last minute rental car. I was so thankful for how kind the staff was with pick up and drop off. This week was crazy and we needed an extra vehicle so it was refreshing to have zero issues with transportation. Both gentlemen walked me through the process and were so helpful and professional. It was great because I was so distracted with all that I had to get done this week and missed half of what they said. Really a hand my credit card over do what you gotta do kinda day and we lucked out. The rates were lower than we expected by far and we are both grateful for your help. I used Expedia to book a convertible Mustang for my son's birthday. I received a call from "A." stating that I received a call to discuss upgrade options. I attempted to call their location, 20 rings later...nothing. I dialed again...nothing. I searched the internet for an alternative number, I found one...no answer. I tried the previous number...finally a human. The rep. explained that the vehicle is not available because they don't actually have it, normally they need to preorder it from a different lot. They explained that I could call Enterprise at Long Beach Airport, they may honor the Expedia price. I would have used the airport location first, but it was $60 more from the airport. They Seal Beach location couldn't transfer the reservation because the airport used a different software version. I asked if the Seal Beach location could call on my behalf to ensure I get the advertised price from Enterprise Seal Beach...NOPE. I go to the airport...no they will not honor the price. After I explained my issue...I accepted my fate of getting screwed again, an all too familiar occurrence. Meanwhile, a trainee to 30 minutes to locate my record and finalize the ordeal. Let me first say the staff here was very nice. But, the conditions they have to work in and customers have to sit in are absolutely disgusting. I arrived and there was a line of 3 customers. There was nowhere to sit outside of the office (in the Ayers Hotel) and if you sat inside it was cramped and DIRTY! I couldn't believe it. The floor was disgusting, the trash had not been emptied, there was an unfinished hole in the floor with a drain pipe in it, the ceiling tiles were dirty and damaged and the walls were not fully painted. The room was only 6x12. And, this load noise sounded often from the adjacent elevator. When I got to the car I rented (the bottom of the line for $60/day), the seats were stained (but clean). When I got in there was someone's dirty tissue in the console which threw me over the edge. I was so grossed out by it all. I will never rent from this location again. Enterprise (and maybe the Ayers Hotel, too), clean up your act together and make a decent working space for your employees and customers! read more

I had a confirmed reservation at this location. I am 66 years old and my car had broke down. Because this location didn't offer pick up service I had to walk an hour in 100 degree heat. When I got there the man in charge was leaving at 445 even though the hours say open until 5. They had no reservation for me even though I still have it in an email. Worst experience ever read more

Let me tell you, they did not disappoint! They were flexible and worked to meet my needs, re-arranging their schedule to agree with mine. Loved this location. It's located inside the Ayers Hotel and by appointment only. We made our reservation a few weeks earlier and Moises was there early to greet us and had the vehicle ready to go. When I returned the vehicle it was a few minutes after 5 pm and there wasn't an enterprise representative present, so the hotel took the key and my information. It was so easy! read more
