Like many other people have had here, this enterprise is F**king garbage. I rented a car here last minute because my BMW had a leak. It was 5:45 and I had 15 minutes to get over there. I get there and was helped and the guy was super nice. Like many others here, my rental car and it had zero gas and the car was completely trash. Also, $44 for a toyota corolla? I have personally had interactions with Josh, Joe, and Max. They are all wonderful and considerate. This location seems incredibly busy and sadly, understaffed, but the customer service offered by these guys is awesome. When I had an issue with my rental, they took great care of me and made a frustrating situation much more bearable. Staff is friendly, helpful and, as strange as this sounds, their energy put me in a great mood considering I was there because my car was in the shop! Again All the People were Professional and Polite! But again this Manager Max has the Attitude that Enterprise which he said Quote ;' We're Doing you the Favor!' Really and I Pay for it ! Max is the best employee this company will ever have and is a gem. Don't ever lose him! If anything, the company should promote him to train the rest of the branches on customer service. I had an issue with one of the cars they rented me and he went out of his way to deliver me a new car to my house after hours which is over 45 minutes away from the location. So I remember why I don't ever go to enterprise ! Not only do they not give any kind of AAA discount anymore but they lack of Custmer service , Alex was so not helpful he has no kind of remorse or understanding , that not only is there a time crunch to drop off the car but they didn't Have any kind of compassion that my car still wasn't ready and all I wanted was to drop off the car closer to my house so I can catch a ride back home, they didn't want to provide me with a ride! Awful experience. Terrible customer service. Location did not have the vehicle that I ordered. Secured a reservation for a business trip. I had a few pieces of luggage so I upgraded to a standard sedan. When I arrived they said they had 2 vehicles on the lot. The world's smallest Mitsubishi and a giant Jeep Wrangler. "Unfortunately, this is all we have available. And this happens to us at this location all the time," said the nice lady behind the counter. I went home and 3 times talked to the Enterprise Customer reps who said there is nothing available in your area (818-Burbank-Glendale) but an area manager would call me right back to work out the situation. 1-hour later...no call. Same response from the phone representative, who could barely speak Engish, like the last phone representatives. But a manager will call ASAP It's now 430p and all local locations close at 5p. "Sir, we have a bunch of vehicle located at LAX if you would like to come down to the airport," she then explained. The 818 to LAX on a Friday in rush hour traffic both-ways?!?! Luckily Midway Car Rental just down the street had cars available and we're happy to assist. Sam, who answered the phone could not have been nicer or more helpful. And they were open to 6p. So they saved my neck. THANK YOU MIDWAY CAR RENTAL....and SAM! They now have a customer for life! Enterprise...NEVER AGAIN!! Honor your reservations!! read more

Easy in and easy out. The best way to run a business while accommodating to your customer's needs. I called a day before on their 24 hour hotline to reserve a middle sized car. This 15-20 minute phone call helped to expedite the process by a 100% when I showed up the following day. They had all my information on file and all I needed to do was check in and check out the car they had in the mid sized frame for a sedan. I was helping to reserve a Toyota Camry for my uncle visiting from Korea. After checking out the car he decided that he wanted a different vehicle with a little bit more space for his family. So they helped us upgrade to a more modern SUV with leather seats. The service was right on point and the process was as easy as it could be. read more

The staff at Sherman Oaks Enterprise go out of their way to help you and make the process smooth and easy. I love the associate Max. He is a rock star. They didn't have exactly what I would like but he put me on list to swap the car with me later today or the next few days. Since I'll be renting a car for at least a month or so I want to Drive something I feel comfortable and safe in. My car is getting fixed at BMW and they are waiting on parts from Germany. It's taking a very long time because the car is brand new. At least they are making things a little easier during this bummer situation. I truly appreciate it. I don't understand why this is being added to me for something I didn't do. I attended Cathleen Segovia's the talent acquisition manager at Enterprise holdings during their humanitarian presentation in CSUN. I received another letter from Enterprise and I am being accused of damaging a vehicle from your end. Claim number is 13738644. Date of loss 12/14/2018. 5 days before my birthday! None of these damages was on the vehicle when I borrowed the vehicle and when I returned the vehicle. Now also I didn't get a proper walk through the car and the staff there mentioned there was damage on the rear bumper and the new letter I received today showing there are multiple damages on the vehicle I borrowed that day. I called this location in Sherman Oaks on Van Nuys blvd to try to confirm that my local BMW of Sherman Oaks dealership had in fact booked a reservation for me and that this location I was placed on hold for over 30 minutes only for someone to finally answer and ask if I could be placed on a "brief" hold When I said NO I HAVE ALREADY BEEN ON HOLD FOR 30+ minutes this employee wanted to argue that the phone just rang??? I said no Im not going to argue with you and as you can hear from my tone Im frustrated from being on an extended hold -30+ minutes is not a brief hold in anyones day. I seriously had 2 questions that took less than 2 minutes to answer. If it was myself making a reservation for personal use I wouldn't use this location. read more

I rented an SUV from here in December for work. I choose Enterprise because they "pick you up" , unfortunately I called for over 2 hours to schedule a ride so that I could pickup my rental, no answer and when they did, they just hung up without speaking. I was hung up on 17x. I decided to ride my bicycle to go pick up the SUV since I couldn't get them to answer their phone. I had the rudest agent with the worst attitude. He was so rude to me as we were going over the car, and when I asked him if he could help me lift up the bike to get it in the back he told me he is not obligated to help me in anyway. I explained that I had to ride my bicycle there because they didn't answer the phone for the pick up, he told me that that's not his problem, and said don't scratch our vehicle getting the bike in. I hurt my arm struggling to lift the bike and cut my leg. I don't know what happened at this location, you used to have really great agents. Now the staff is beyond rude and the worst part is they don't care. read more

I rented a car for a week from this location and had an incredible experience. Rented a simple compact car that I felt safe in and everyone I spoke with was so friendly too! All of the prices were straightforward and when I brought the car back I was able to ride with an Enterprise driver back to the collision shop to pick up my car that had been in an accident. I got my car serviced at BMW next door and they had a contract with this enterprise office. They didn't have enough cars and made everyone wait forever while they got cars from another location. Which is still okay because stuff like that happens when running a business, but they wouldn't let anyone wait inside and we had to stand out in the heat the whole time. I reserved a car for 12pm. I called ahead of time and was in the area early at 8:30am and again at 9:30am. I explained to the representative that I needed the vehicle weekASAP. They told me they could not find the vehicle and to come to check in, I told them the reason I needed it early is that I do not have transportation within a 2 mile radius by that hour and if it's ok if I am running an hour late. They said it was ok. I got here at 1:04pm they checked me in and told me they gave away my vehicle and my only option is another place or to wait for an unspecified time. The manager condescendingly told me I was late and they are not obligated to hold my reservation or notify me. They told me due to the shortage they gave my car away in an hour even though I notified them and clarified. I am really disappointed with this rental company I paid for Uber to get there and back. Unfortunately not even a courtesy email to notify me they gave the vehicle away or that they couldn't keep their promise of extension. Manager was happy to cancel my reservation and losing a long time customer. Enterprise if you see this, this manager was horrible. So long as he made a quicker deal giving my reservation to someone else. If you reserve a hotel for a week and are running an hour late and you let the hotel agent know you are running late and they confirm you don't cancel it in their face and give them no option other than paying for a more expensive hotel. read more
