Sometimes they don't have the cars you book & it never fails, you will wait and wait and wait for someone to finally give you a car! Rented a Ford F150 one way to SLO to move my son up to college. 45 minutes into the drive received an error message that the was an "air dam fault" not to mention the check engine light came on! Honestly, I rent a lot of cars from Enterprise, and not all locations are created equal! 30 minutes before closing time, I called the closest Enterprise location because Costco had to order my replacement tires (thank you pot hole on the 210!)...I was heading out of town for the weekend to a festival in the desert and needed a car bad! I knew the rates were usually better online, but lucky for me I called and spoke to an amazing associate named Noemi R. She was the best! I came here with grabbing a car rental since my car was in an accident. I called over the phone to make sure that they had a sedan, the girl assured me they had many. I headed over. I was there within 20 min. When I arrived the i met ant other gentlemen who told me they did it have any sedans available and only small SUVs. I was so upset since I had just spoke to the girl few minutes prior. I had to take what was available. I drove off and within 2 days I HATED the car I normally drive a Tesla. I called back and asked to bring it back I got back and again they didn't have a sedan. I spoke to hector who at first wasn't willing to help. I decided to escalate and finally gave me a an Audi and told me he he would give me the price of a no luxury vehicle. I left alright. Days later I had to swap out cus my insurance wasn't covering any longer. I came back to pick up a Camry. The girls who helped me made promises that weren't kept Left so upset I called hector . I arrived at home and check the back seat of the car it was filthy it had not been washed, there was forks in the trunk. I was livid this car was not sanitized!!! I called back and they offered to credit me for a car wash. Finally I came back today to drop off the car and spoke to angel everything that was promised was a lie , he stated he Jsut took over and there's nothing he could do. Although "Enterprise Rent-A-Car" is a large company, (the largest nat'l rental car company) I am a firm believer that it is the people - the ones on the front lines - who deserve all the credit. Full disclosure, I haven't needed to rent a car in over 16 years, but I will honestly tell you, that not only will I go to "Enterprise" for all my car rental needs, but I will SPECIFICALLY GO TO THIS LOCATION (6230 Sepulveda Blvd, West Van Nuys) when I do need to rent a car. I wouldn't even hesitate to let my friends know that this location is worth the trip. Long story short: Tesla Van Nuys needed to do some warranty repairs on my 2018 Model 3 Performance. They offered a courtesy shuttle to this Enterprise location. Erica was nothing short of phenomenal. From arranging the details to finalizing the agreement (taken care of by Tesla, of course), you can tell that customer service is a priority with her. She was very knowledgable, transparent, courteous, helpful, & friendly. When it came time to picking out my vehicle of choice - a lovely, mint-condition, practically brand new, 2021 Chevy Malibu, Luis was a godsend. His enthusiasm & eagerness to help should not go unnoticed. Not to mention, his professionalism was outstanding in his demeanor & sharply-dressed suit. The guy is on-top of his game! Not long after driving the car off the lot, I received a very warm text from management of this company that pretty much informed me that they are happy to do anything that they can if I needed anything else. All my texts were promptly answered in the most comprehensive manner & I for one appreciate that very much. The return process was a breeze. No issues, no run-arounds, no headaches. Simple. No unnecessary time wasted. Just the way I like it. Thank you for that! I would go to this location 1,000,000 times over, even though I do not live in the area. There isn't enough room for all I want to say, so I'll summarize!!! 1 - Marina didn't tell me my friend had to be on my insurance policy to be added for free. 2- The counter rep told me my friend can't be added at all on the rental because it's an insurance claim. 3- Payton told me I can add her for a charge but I can't use a debit card and has to be a credit card, even though the used the debit card to hold $150 4 - Payton gave me a car literally on empty 5 - Payton told me the oil light is on but it's OK because if the car needed an oil change her tablet would've shown it. Incidentally, there wasn't an oil light on when I drove it. I think she mistook the empty gas tank light showing gas is needed for the oil light. 6 - Payton didn't know where the nearest gas station was, even though she works at a car rental agency and told me to GPS it. 7 - the passenger headlight didn't work 8 - the passenger high beam didn't work 9- when I called to inform them of the issue I was told to find an enterprise near me because they close in 5 minutes, as if I can make it to another Enterprise in 5 minutes. Just pass the buck. I told them I don't know the area. 10 - manager was put on and lazy incompetent Payton manager. 11- Payton tried to get me to go to the nearest airport, which was almost an hour away, the opposite way of where I was going. 12 - Payton told me to then call Enterprise road side service so I can wait for God knows how long for them only to take me to the airport, to wait in a long line, to switch the car, adding about another 4 hours to my day. I told her that I just had major surgery, have a heart condition and I'm already exhausted and can't handle it. 13 - Payton then acted like she's doing me a favor, after she gave me an unsafe car to drive by saying it's Christmas, I'll wait for you here. Um, excuse me, it's Christmas? Maybe if she was competent at her job, all of this would have been avoided. 14 - Payton gave me her cell number because the front gates will be closed and to call her when I got there, which I did and it sounded like I disturbed her slumber when I called. 15 - Payton she wanted me to go through the back gates so she didn't have to go unlock the gates. She should've told me that and gave me directions on how to get to the back gates prior to me getting there. She ended up opening the gates. 16 - Payton's incompetence shined even more when she told me she didn't know what was wrong with the car and wanted me to remind her. She stood in front of the lights looking confused, started to walk away and walked back to look at the lights again. 17 - Offered me the initial cars I declined, but they had only those two cars, mind you, with a lot full of other cars. 18 - Payton started making excuses as to the condition of the unsafe car she gave me initially. She blamed everything and everyone else for what SHE handed me the keys to. 19 - after walking around the replacement car, in the dark, with less than bright lights, Payton told me she'll help me out after I inquired about reimbursement for the gas money I put into the unsafe car. I informed her she's not helping me, she's reimbursing me. She said to just bring the car back on half a tank since it's full. No accountability, nothing, just incompetence!!! 20 - Payton put me in the second car without having me sign anything, no notes that I can bring the car back half full. 21 - I took the keys and called her a name 22 - She comes out after me to tell me to expect a call from her district manager (I'm really scared) and that they expect the car back at their location tomorrow. Um, yeah, OK, I'm driving over half an hour, after they gave me wrong information, held information, gave me a car on empty, no working lights etc. I told her it will be left at a location where I live. 23 - called her a name again and she started whining like a kids asking whey I'm speaking to her like that. I told her it's because she's incompetent, acting like she's doing me favors and she needs to take accountability for her incompetence. 24 - Payton told me I'm gross and disgusting. I called her a name again. 25 - some other incompetent little girl wanted to jump in and said that I'm going on the do not rent list. News flash, it's not a threat, the only time I rent from overpriced Enterprise is when it's an insurance claim. My whole family prefers Hertz. Better customer service and same car is $100 cheaper. We travel quite a bit and it's always Hertz we go to!!! Stop acting like you're powerful LOL 26 - Same child told me that she'll pray for me. I told her where she can stick her prayers. 27 - I take accountability for all the name calling I did after all I endured with these unprofessional, incompetent little girls who put us in harms way with an unsafe car and coming up with excuses instead of taking accountability like mature professionals. Sorry to say but this is my second negative review for this location. The people that works here works hard and very respectful but if you keep people waiting just to help another costumer is not going to work. Anyways, I move my appointment two hours from my original appointment and still waiting for the car to get here because according to policy, if the car is luxury you can only used credit card. Even if I've been going to rental car for a while, they can't split the charge to credit and debit. After going to the enterprise on Roscoe and Sepulveda, horrible, horrible experience, I came to hector at Sepulveda and victory enterprise, and Hector at assistant manager was very helpful and took care of us here. Hopefully we can get better. I had a ton of car trouble in November and December and had to rent a car for much of that time. I rented on three different occasions from this location, and the service was always excellent. I mostly worked with Bryson and Evelyn. Not only did they treat all customers with respect and courtesy, but they also treated each other and all the other employees with the same level of courtesy and respect. It goes a long way for me as a customer to see a team that is kind to each other, even when they were slammed with customers in person and on the phone. It's so hard when someone needs to post a bad Review, and so easy to compliment someone. This review goes for a manager Miss Brittany. ( I was told that She is a manager ) When you have an accident you Are already in Full distress and you expect that customer service should be at least professional and nice. I came directly from The shop, waited for 1h 20 min and they gave me a car that my Insurance doesn't cover the amount for ( THEY HAD FULLY EMPTY LOT ) I didn't choose the car. Initially, I was told I would be paying only 4-5$ per Day. Then They gave me a contract of $6.55 per Day Miss manager, when I asked her to call other locations to find me a car that I don't need to pay extra bluntly refused to do so, stating that every lot is empty... CAN SHE AT LEAST TO TRY???? They only had one gentleman and me there, she was not busy at all. She also stated that I Had an appt with a different location ( I was instructed to go to the Repair stop by my insurance and they contacted Enterprise to pick me up ) saying She is doing a favor to me by giving me car. She also stated that that location is out if the cars When I called them the next day I was told that they have several cars... So, No management skills doesn't want to help you, super Cold and rude... That's not the end of my full disappointment ( btw I was there before, they were amazing ) !!!! I prepaid extra taxes until 8/25/22 and got a notification that I will get my car on 8/26/22 so I called and The same person charged my Card for 3 days instead of 2. When I called them She stated that I have o ly paid until today. THIS IS THE WORSE EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. I can't believe that someone can hire a manager with no passion, no nice name, and no effort. Also, I'm exploring this whole problem to a higher level. Good experience... until I returned the truck 3 days later. There was some damage to the radius at the front top of the truck box. They got me to pay for insurance on the truck and liability as well. But of course a little hole or scratch isn't covered. Fine, I get it. That's kind of standard procedure these days. BUT what's not cool at all was not being told anything, not getting a text or call or email and IMMEDIATELY after dropping the truck off I got a ~$1,500 charge on the credit card. No estimate, no contact, no repair description, nothing. There was damage before I got the truck, although the damage we did was more significant looking. They are just going to arbitrarily charge an arm and a leg? I'll fix it my self!! SMH. Shame on these guys at Enterprise Rent A Car here on Sepulveda. SMH read more
