PLEASE LISTEN UP. THERE IS STRONG ADVICE HERE FOR YOU. if there was a zero rating that's what I would give this location. The problem is I reserved a compact car but when I got to location I asked the sales rep, ERIC, the cost of upgrading since I was going a long distance. He recommended 2 cars, one for $4 and the other for $5. He said the upgrade would be better since I'm going such a long distance. I chose the Toyota Corolla for $5 upgrade. we did a walk around and I noticed that the car had several scratches. I mentioned them to ERIC and he said they don't count because they have to be a certain measurement. I decided to take pictures anyway. When we got to the front, I noticed that the right bumper was sticking out. I drew his attention to it. He said, don't worry about that, it's documented. Then he pushed the protruding bumper in and it stayed it. He said the car was a good choice. Then he relentlessly tried to sell me insurance that was price prohibitive for me at the moment. Besides, I told him, I'm already an insured driver. But he kept at it forcefully until I had to look him in the eye and tell him I could not afford it and don't need it because I'm a careful driver. He eventually gave up and had me sign the contract. My friend and I started on our way the next morning but the hood of the car kept lifting up, causing a beeping sound inside the car. Twice we had to push the hood back down. So we located another enterprise location to try to exchange the car, but they did not have a similar car available. So we decided to take our chances. We arrived to our destination safely. Upon returning the car to the location at my destination, the sales rep examined the car and noticed the damaged bumper and informed me about it. I told her that's how I rented it and the rep, ERIC, said it was not a problem because the damage was recorded. She suggested I talk with him about it. I did and he said it's their responsibility now because that's where I returned it. We kept going back and forth, ERIC promising that he would take care of it. After several unattended phone calls I decided to put a claim in through my credit card company. I sent them the pictures they requested after which they denied my claim (I do intend to continue pursuing my claim). So the lesson is, TAKE PICTURES OF YOUR RENTED VEHICLE BEFORE YOU SIGN THE CONTRACT. AND ANYTHING THEY TELL YOU ABOUT THE CAR OR THE RENTAL, HAVE THEM SHOW IT TO YOU IN WRITING. VOICE RECORD THE CONVERSATION WHEN AND WHERE POSSIBLE. Please trust me on this. A hard lesson learned. I would not want you to have the same experience. it was pointed out to me that this is probably a practice of that lication or the company: they convince you to buy that expensive insurance to pay for the damages to their vehicles. This place is absolutely awful. I was hit by a car so I was given a rental from this location. I was sent a digital form that asked me to specify my home address to be picked up the next day. After giving the address I tried to call to confirm but no one answered from 3:45-5pm. I woke up the day of and called again (8:00am) and after a 13 minute hold, a woman told me they don't offer pick up service (although it was a requirement for me to Fill out). So I ubered to the location at 12. Although I was given a "priority pass", I waited outside in the sun for over an hour and 20 minutes for a 12pm reservation. After 40 minutes, a gentleman came out and took my information and I waited another 40 minutes before receiving a car. There's no system in place to text you when it's your turn. At that point, the line was following the "honor system" by who was next in line. The only good thing I have to say is that the TWO staff members that were working were kind. My complaint is with the establishment, the owner, and the company. The employees are kind and hard working. Severely understaffed and no such thing as priority pass. If the rental had been in my control I would have certainly gone elsewhere but since it was associated with a claim I had no choice. I personally will not return. The car we were given had foot prints on the windshield (inside) and hot sauce packets in the car, although during COVID they claim extreme cleaning and sanitizing measures. It also reeked of cigarette smoke. I'm grateful to be in a working vehicle but my experience was less than one star. read more

We came in to get a rental car because my friend's car was going to have to stay overnight at the dealership. Although we were not helped right away, we were greeted and the representatives were very courteous and respectful. When my friend was asking about her rental car, it seemed like the dealership didn't do a very good job communicating to the Enterprise, but Tye still helped her out and got her a beautiful red beetle as you can see in the picture. We had to wait a while for the car to be ready, but that was due to the fact that it was getting an oil change and a car wash, so we were very satisfied. Tye was very helpful and personable! The reviews posted on this place is one of the reasons I dislike all services such as Yelp. It is far too easy to sit back and snipe hunt for businesses who simply can't respond to everyone's little quirks or wishes. Yes, you can say but look at the number of reviews that are negative. To that I would say that's true, but do you know the type of customer this store is primarily servicing? Since I live only a couple of blocks away, let me enlighten you. This store's typical customer is a weekend warrior - a work all week for an hourly wage kind of guy or girl who wants to impress somebody with their ride for the weekend. They need a big showy car to go party in because they don't have a big showy car. The reason they don't have a big showy car is because they spend all of their money renting a big showy car every weekend. You can imagine the battle over wanting something for nothing and the condition of the cars returned. I, on the other hand, am in business and need to occasionally rent a car while my car or one of my daughters cars is in the shop. I have found everyone at this store to be completely respectful, wiling to listen to my needs, and quite accommodating with their services. I do not go into their store with battle gear on looking for war. I simply go in to rent a car. It's all about expectations and perspective, and if you look at what these guys are here to do, they do an excellent job. You get a good rental at a fair price with good service. read more

When arriving at the Memorial Dr. location I was very impressed at the amazing customer service I received. I was then assisted by a young lady who was pleasant and courteous. She then took care of my needs, and I was quickly on my way. My return date approached. I called in to extend the car. A woman at the branch then took my information and charged me an additional payment over the phone. She gave me my new return date, and the call ended. I then needed to extend a 2nd time when that date arrived and spoke to a "Chris". I let him know I needed to extend a couple more days. He gave me the breakdown of everything. I agreed and hung up the phone. On April 11th I came out of my apartment to leave for work, and the car was gone. I was devastated. When I finally got to work I called the branch. A woman answered. I then told her what was going on, and I was then put on a brief hold. A gentleman picked up the phone and asked if he could help me. I asked him was he the branch manager? He stated "yes". I then proceeded to talk with him about the situation. He was very rude. There was no compassion or sympathy in none of his actions. He made me feel like a criminal. I have been renting from Enterprise for years. This is the worst service I ever received. I was not notify by phone at anytime about being past due. I checked my call log, also voicemails. There was nothing. I will not be renting from Enterprise ever! I am the kind of person who does not stop until I receive justice. read more

Reserved TWO 15 passenger vans 3 months prior to our church leaving on a mission trip taking 25 kids. We called 3 times the week leading up to the rental to confirm pick up time. We were told 9am. We've rented from this particular Enterprise in the past and haven't had any problems until this time around. We've had excellent customer service from Aaron in the past couple of times that we rented but unfortunately he no longer works there. My bf got the car, next day went and got in the car and it was a push button Nissan Ultima, it wouldn't start. He tried a couple more times, no success. On the final try, the push button went into the console. He calls Enterprise and the female associate's first response was that he probably pushed it too hard. How do you assume right off the back that it's the customer's fault. Was told that an area manager would be in contact with him that day, he's still waiting, 2 days later. While my bf was at Enterprise, he saw a gentleman take a Lyft to Enterprise to find out they didn't have his car that he reserved. The manager that was there at the time was named Curtis and we don't feel he handled the situation properly. We will no longer rent from Enterprise going forward. read more

Reserved a car passenger van months in advance for a family trip. The day before , I called to make sure all was well. I was told that they may not have my van , but were working on it. The day of my arrival I called again, and was told they're still working on it. I was told that they may have it the next day. I asked to speak to a manager, never got it. As a matter of fact , they never called me at all, not even a heads up for the situation. Not even an apology. I was told to check somewhere else and that this happens because they overbook but since I reserved so early , I'd be top of the list. Offered no assistance , not solutions. Nothing. The reason for the less than five star rating was due to the fact the car was dirty inside and outside, less than a half a tank of gas and the plates were expired on the vehicle. I needed to rent a car because my car was in the shop. I was given a Toyota Corolla that was filthy on the outside and inside. The fabric seats were covered in stains. The windshield had so much film on it that I had to clean it myself. Finally, the rate charged was outrageous. I had used Enterprise repeatedly when I lived in Florida. I never had a problem. Do NOT rent from this location. While the people who work there are nice enough, there is obviously some management issue at this location that leads to this kind of sloppy service. I would have given them a 0 star if there was a way to give them a 0 star. The manager "Mr. Shaquille" is unprofessional and rude. The day I went there, I checked on the App and the price was something like 30.67 cents/day including tax and I asked if there was going to be an additional price charged if I ended up returning the car earlier and they told me NO we will reimburse you the rest of the money and I payed $1168.07 including the $250 deposit which the rental price for the month was $918.07. Which was the exact daily rate on the App multiplied by 30 days. Which doesn't even makes sense in the first place. I asked the manager which was dealing with me in the first place saying wasn't I supposed to be getting a bit of a lower total price since I'm taking it out for like a month and he said no. And then I ended up renting the car regardless and I went to return it on the 6th day since I didn't need it any longer. Then the executive manager "Ms. Briana" charged me $306.29. Which is 1/3 of what I would pay if I kept it for a month and a different rate which was 45$/ day plus tax which was $51.04/ day. Mind you this is $15 more than what the day rate was and when I asked her she told me the daily rate for the days were that much which they avoided to tell me the day I stepped foot in there. I contacted the main office about this and they said it doesn't make sense and they had the manager called me back but he basically told me that's how it is going to be like since I walked in and didn't make the booking through the APP. I asked specific question that day and he never told me that the daily rate would be changed if I returned the car earlier and now he is saying something totally different. They are basically scammers! No wonder why everyone is moving to AVIS. Less hassle and better customer service with a much lesser price. read more
