This is the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. After being without my personal car for over 24 days, being given a car with a fully exposed lightbulb that sparked, a 6 month expired license plate, wheel warning lights on the dash board, I was hesitantly switched into another vehicle after I asked on my own. I arrived at the Stuart location where I was told I would have an equal rated car...WRONG I was given a much smaller more downgraded car than I had before. I asked if there were any other cars and was told no. There was another lady near me who wanted the smallest car on the lot, which is the one I was given. The employee basically yelled at me in front of others saying "NO THIS IS YOUR CAR" how embarrassing. I called customer support and spoke with 2 different supervisors at 2 different times who assured me someone would be calling me back. Well here we are, over 30 days later and still no phone call. I will NEVER be renting another car from this company who doesn't stand by a customer service policy and agreement. I have never rented or worked with a company who was more rude than this staff. Pretty sad that corporate doesn't care enough to make situations right with guests who have been a loyal renter for years past. read more

Worst car rental experience! They lied and charged me for their insurance which made no sense because I have my own insurance so why need theirs? Talked to their manager Molly and she told me they would refund me the $400 they stole from me but never did. Now disputing it with my creditcard company. I am currently sitting at this Enterprise Rental. My car is being repaired and I was told to make a reservation and insurance would cover $20 a day towards a rental. The car they TRIED to give me was a scratched up dirty Chevy Cruz. The seats were disgusting, and still had food crumbs on the passenger seat! Totally gross. Enterprise in Stuart is the place you want to rent your car. I rented a vehicle from them for two months while spending the Winter in Stuart. The rates were the best I found when I researched. They picked me up promptly at the rental house. The car was clean and in perfect condition. All the staff I dealt with were extremely professional and take pride in their jobs whether in person or via phone. Do not rent any where else!!! read more

We booked a rental with this branch 7 months in advance. The vehicle we booked was necessary for a long road trip and we were to pick up the vehicle the day after Thanksgiving. When my husband got there to get the vehicle, he was told there was no vehicle for us. He was told it was in an accident and they could downgrade us to a smaller vehicle. This smaller downgrade would not work for our trip. We asked if they could please call other branches to see if there was a similar car available. They said they couldn't do that. They told us to just drive to the airport and hope they had the car we needed. My husband called them as soon as he got home to see if we could take the downgrades car. He was then told our original vehicle was never returned and the downgraded vehicle had no working air conditioning. Sounds like the company oversold their cars and lied to us multiple times. Will never book a car with this company again and a formal complaint will be filed with Corporate. This almost ruined our trip as we were leaving very early the following morning. We ended up driving our own car and sacrificing space and a comfortable 10 hour drive. The last time we rented a vehicle at this location we found drug paraphernalia in our car that had supposedly been inspected and cleaned. Terrible. No customer service at all. Terrible. I called to rent a truck, and the woman on the phone told me that there was one available to rent, so I reserved it. Then enterprise calls me back an hour before my pick up time and tells me they don't have one available, and that they could only apologize on behalf of the people working at the call center. WARNING! Worse than terrible. THEY STOLE MY CREDIT CARD! I usually use a different rental company but decided to try Enterprise, as I had a long ride and wanted to be picked up. I booked a car several days in advance, BUT they were too busy to pick me up on time, anyway, so I had my secretary drive me. When I got there, they didn't have a car.. so.. I waited along with several other people who were complaining about the wait. After a long time of waiting I got really aggravated, as they were making it look like it was my fault for not having patience, telling me that the person didn't bring the car back, so what could they do? I said, How about having TWO cars? As they were holding my paperwork until the car arrived, I called Hertz, which was just down the street and had THEM hold me a car. I cancelled Enterprise, told them off and left, but.. when I got outside I realized I didn't ask for my credit card back and they still had it. When I went back in, I was told they didn't have it. WHAT??? Now I was really mad, because the girl was holding it in her hand as she wrote down what she needed. I called the police, who wrote up a report. The employee said, "We're a classy place and wouldn't do that.".. yea, right! So I had to call and cancel my credit card as being stolen. Sure enough, that night when I was out of Florida and in my hotel, I called my credit card company to check, and they said someone tried using it to buy gas about an hour before I called. The gas station was just down the road from Enterprise. UNBELIEVABLE, and there wasn't a camera image clear enough to make an arrest. UNBELIEVABLE! read more

I have rented cars from Enterprise more than 100 times in the past 6 years. The rental I had in Stuart was one of only two that I would not rate as excellent. There were two problems. I was finishing a bike tour and needed a car capable of taking a boxed bicycle--essentially any car with rear seats that folded down. A Honda civic does the job. I specifically rented a full size car to maximize room, and called the day before the pick-up day to let them know of my need. The associate was very positive and said that they would be able to meet my need. Come pick up day, the only car available had only one of two seats that folded down. After some more looking around, they said that they could rent a minivan, for an additional charge of $50. Since I didn't have any other option except to start calling the other two rental agencies in Stuart and hope they had something at that instant, I got the minivan. I have had the same requirement at the end of other bike tours, and Enterprise came through. The only time they couldn't get a car, they rented me a van at no extra charge. To their credit, this situation in Stuart was not especially good for them, as I was doing a one way rental to Ft. Lauderdale, and their minivan was going to be out of their shop for a while and they indicated they had a lot of minivan reservations coming up. So kudos to them for doing something inconvenient. I drove off in the minivan with a "full tank". Within 3 miles, the gas gauge was visible below the full line. While this is probably due to the previous renter doing a minimal fill up, I'd like to think that the rental agency verifies full fuel level before renting. Two stars seems a bit rough, but the three star description of "A-OK" is not an accurate description of my rental experience. read more

I reserved a car only to arrive and find a long line and I was told it didn't matter about reservation I still have to wait in line. I waited over an hour in 90 degree heat while they waited on at least 8 people before me then skipped me and went to the person behind me. I don't want to say why I think they did that but let's just leave it to the imagination. When I spoke up about why the skipped me the Rep laughed and said we're getting a special car cleaned for you. Another Rep walked me to a dirty car with no gas and said we'll give you a discount. Needless to say they didn't give me nothing. If you're a minority better video them when you rent a car from enterprise. read more

Due to a car accident I unfortunately had to rent a car for two months. The whole ordeal was such a mess and extremely frustrating as I was the victim, being rear ended on US 1. The staff at this Enterprise were outstanding. They are polite, understanding , and go out of their way to be helpful. They would call me ahead of time to let me know when a payment was due to go through, always greet you at the door. When my car was finally ready, a staff member drove me to pick up my car and help me transfer all of my belongings into my car. I wish I knew everyone's name there, but TJ, Molly and Grant, thank you. And the young man from Chicago with the new baby. I don't remember your name , but you were so helpful that day. My car broke down on a Fri. I really needed transportation for the weekend. I called Avis, Budget and Enterprise. Hands down Enterprise had the best rates! When I went Sat. AM to pick up my vehicle the staff....Lamark Blair ( who assisted me), Todd Laycock and Mike ( don't know his last name) were friendly, answered all questions and efficient. It was pretty busy that day so there was a bit of a wait on a car but not terrible. Mike asked the ppl in the sitting room area if they had any questions or needed directions . My parents arrived in town yesterday and wanting a adequate vehicle for their vacation in sunny florida, the manager-in-training Michael at the Stuart location took advantage of an elderly couple by passing off a substandard vehicle as an upgrade to their requested vehicle. When they came back to my house they were annoyed at the dismissive nature of the manager in training, Michael, they also complained of headaches and sinus issues immediately after renting the vehicle. Imagine my horror when I found the vehicle reeked of putrid smoke. Not only was the smell severe in the vehicle, but it's now in their clothes which will also need to be dry cleaned to remove the stench. I'm astonished at the lack of care, lack of basic decency from the manager-in-training, and the lack from the rental location to follow simple cleaning protocols that I'm sure they have in place. this rental location's employees missed a number of opportunities to excel in their work and in a customer service industry where there are multiple options, standing out as a company for all the wrong reasons is not a good business plan. read more

Horrible!!!!! Do not rent large vehicle because they won't have it! Reserved 15 passenger van on 2 weeks prior to needing it. I called two days before pickup confirming it would be available. Response was "there's plenty available shouldn't be a problem". Call received the night before at closing time saying...sorry your vehicle is not available. THAT'S IT!!!! No solution or we will try to find one. We had made plans for a birthday celebration, and are scrambling with no notice! I called in the morning to see if there was a change, and to speak with a manager and he was always busy. I then got hung up on. I drove to the rental car place, and nothing they could do. I booked a Chevy Tahoe (or similar) because I had a lot of bulky items to take to Orlando when I was traveling with my family this last weekend. When I arrived, u fortunately there wasn't one available. But the guys at Enterprise in Stuart quickly found a solution and upgraded me to an almost brand new Cadillac Escalade. To say I was delighted was somewhat of an understatement! The car was unbelievable, a limo in the form of an SUV, stunning! Makes me want to get one myself. Everything went fine They picked us up on time, took us back , greeted us when we walked in. Did the paper work and waited . They were very busy and I understand the wait. I think they were waiting for cars to come back, gas them, clean etc. About a half hour later we got our rental. Clean, brand new 2018 , perfect. Good customer service . My pick up point was great, I hate not to give them 5 stars, my drop off was in Hollywood Florida, When I arrived at the location it was closed on sundays, (something the Stuart location could have told me, as I told them it was my destination) I ended up a few miles away in Miami Gardens just before 2 PM there closing time, I had called them and asked them to call me a cab as i was not familiar with the area. Upon arrival I was treated like I was not there, cause they were getting ready to go home. in fact they locked me in so I had to let myself out. Oh and btw they did not call me a cab, and didn't even tell me they had decided not to. I would not recommend the Miami gardens of HW7 to ANYONE! read more

I have been an Enterprise "corporate customer" for several years now. The staff, the service as well as the process of rental are always excellent! Each and every experience is great! I especially love the "pick-up" service because no other rental car companies offer it and its extremely convenient for my needs. This was my worst car rental experience ever. I reserved a full size pickup truck three weeks in advance and checked in every week to confirm the reservation. The day before my reservation I confirm one more time and I'm told that they don't have any trucks. The manager then proceeds to tell me that I should've used someone else. Anthony De Pasquale is the assistant manager with no manners to talk to the customers straight rude on their faces lying about cars being unavailable when a bunch of them are actually parked right in their parking ! I went to this location ( Stuart) in the morning at 8 am to renew / rent a new car since my contract was getting over ! This guy clearly tells me I cannot rent without having a credit card whereas I have been renting from enterprise for more than 3 months using a debit card ! This location at Stuart is filled with a bunch of ill mannered and rude staff ! No customer service nothing ! Enterprise at Stuart is the worst place ever to go ! Due to an accident, my insurance company sent me here. Even though I had a confirmed reservation, they first said that I would need to wait a day as they didn't have any cars. Then they tried to give me a dirty mini-van for which I would have to pay extra. Finally they gave me a car that was on the lot the whole time. Absolutely, they did the right thing by offering an upgraded car but I found the ordeal unpleasant. Next time, I'll do my homework. read more

The staff at Enterprise are very welcoming and customer orientated. I frequently rent vehicles for business and have dealt with Grant and Molly who are very helpful. They bend over backwards to make sure you are happy. The only hesitation I have in not rating them a 5 is because they are such a busy store and the wait time can be quite long. If you need to depart by a certain time, I would recommend picking your car up an hour before as you may be delayed depending on the time of day. read more
