I was worried I hadn't purchased the fuel option, and she quickly reassured me and handled everything efficiently, making the return effortless. I arrived at 12:30PM on a Sunday to return our car. We met an employee outside who told us that we can just leave the car and keys there, and he'd take care of it. Prior to leaving my home, I had called Budget's main number to ask what I should do to protect myself from potential overcharge and was told to take photos, so I took one of the car w/the storefront and also took a photo of the toll transponder to show I returned both; the photo would provide the meta date for time and date if there was a discrepancy. After I unloaded our luggage, I did go inside to speak to someone and confirmed that I could just leave the car there. We hailed Uber; while waiting, the guy we original spoke to did whatever he was supposed to w/the car. It's just that we're used to someone scanning the vehicle and handing us a receipt, but by the time I got onto the ship, the receipt was emailed to me. My experience was pretty positive, but that could be because the rush was over. Prior to arriving, I called this location several times during business hours, but no one picked up, which could be worrisome (if you rented from them and had an issue, etc.). Info not related to Avis/Budget: This location is in a huge outdoor mall, so you can get last minute items at the Dollar Tree, which we did prior to returning the car. It's about 15 miles from port. Uber was easy to get, but the first person did cancel on us, so don't wait till the last minute. Boarding was fairly simple.

SUV looks as if it had not been washed in weeks. Broken glass in the carpet. Upon returning, I requested a receipt; I was advised by Mark that I would receive one via email. Nope, didn't happen. I check my credit card statement only to find out that there was an additional $49.50 for cleaning the vehicle?!?! Was told vehicle was "trashed"! Good thing I had photos. They held zero weight. It gets tiring going back and forth over this and they seem to know it. I'll just avoid this place. I would advise you to do the same.

Now, we said upfront we'd be taking it to West Texas... to the DESERT. We were never told about any potential cleaning fee. We're not dirty or messy people by any means, but naturally there was some dirt that accumulated in the car. Having had a relative that worked for Enterprise for years, we thought nothing of it since people left full damn garbage bags in their cars for him to clean out and it was a normal occurrence... because the cars are cleaned in detail after each use. We took the car to a nearby vac station to avoid paying the fee, and they took the car back. If you're THAT strict about how a car looks upon return, you absolutely should warn your customers ahead of time. If we knew we had to vacuum, it wouldn't have been an issue to do so at all. But now I'm worried, Budget. You got my mind going. Charging a fee for some sand on the floor? Expecting customers to vacuum? So... do you NOT vacuum or clean if the car looks fine? Do you not realize how many insanely dirty yet invisible things lie on surfaces? People get sick. They vomit, defecate. People have airborne, contagious diseases. People FORNICATE. Oh yeah. Real easy to wipe all that nasty crap up, but it needs to be sanitized! Performing a full cleaning is not the customer's job. I will be very wary about using this company again because of these questions bouncing around in my head. Get it together Budget.

The balconies are gorgeous--the higher floor this time has a better view above the palm trees. Both times we've been here have been in January, so we haven't been able to use the outdoor pools or the lazy river. The indoor pool is large! There's a great game room, a movie theater, and a gym on the property. Everything is access-controlled, so you feel safe. Getting to the beach is about a 5-minute walk. This is a beautiful place! We booked through Ryson Vacation Rentals both times. Great communication, easy check-in and check-out process.

Well equipped. Lovely. Pretty. Good location. Beautiful. It was a terrific unit at the end with an awesome balcony and great views. We booked through Sand n Sea. Great company. We booked with Jolene. She was terrific. We loved working with her. She was fantastic. Will book with her again AND will recommend her to friends and family! Very nice and professional! A very good company! When we got off our ship I called them and we'd gotten off earlier and they picked us up 45 mins early. This company tries to accommodate their customers as much as they can. The bus was clean and the trip both ways was so pleasant. I couldn't recommend this company any more they are awesome!
