We booked a 9am shuttle from the cruise terminal to Houston airport for our family. Despite arriving on time at the designated pickup spot, the shuttle driver left without picking up multiple groups of travelers who had confirmed reservations. Thankfully, a helpful driver from the 10am shuttle tried to assist by contacting the company to bring the original driver back, but it took over an hour for the shuttle to return--right in the middle of peak traffic. This caused unnecessary stress and put several families at risk of missing their flights. This experience was incredibly frustrating and unprofessional. We will not be using this shuttle service again and would strongly advise others to look for a more reliable option. read more

We booked a private SUV for 4 of us (with a ton of luggage) traveling to Galveston for a cruise. Mike was waiting for us at Houston Hobby Aiport when we got to baggage claim. He was very helpful with the luggage and we had a very pleasant drive to our hotel that evening. On our return trip, we left the cruise port, walked about a block and he was there within minutes. He picked us up and took us to a hotel near the same airport. He was on time, he was very professional and fun to be with! We booked Galveston Limousine service for our trip to and from the Houston international airport. Originally we were supposed to take the shuttle, but our flight was canceled. They did not have a shuttle running at the late hour that we got in. So we opted for a private driver. They were nice enough to give us credit for our previous Booked service. Eddie was our driver and he was very knowledgeable and friendly. He communicated effectively as soon as our plane landed. It was a short walk to his vehicle once we left the airport. The drive was smooth, the climate inside the car was very comfortable and the car was very clean. We had a few hiccups other than the cancellation just due to technology. Everyone we dealt with at Galveston Limousine was very friendly and accommodating. It is best to book online instead of by phone because there is a significant cost savings. We got off our cruise and our driver came to get us, and kept making jokes about how Galveston Limo will fix any problem and will find anybody. Our round trip transportation story: IAH pickup was on time. That's where the good end. Our driver was very unprofessional when he told us he was picking up someone who "may not be on their meds. But she's a regular so I'll handle her." With 2 young kids this is not exactly what we wanted to hear. Thankfully she was fine and the ride was smooth. Our pickup from port was horrific. They were 50m late. Then upon pickup, the driver told us that we were interrupting her day and she was supposed to be getting off in 15 minutes. Then she proceeded to tell us anything we needed was a "NO! Because we'd heard yes all week." Then she told us to use the bathroom sitting down "because a naked woman was dancing on top of a semi once and she had to slam on her breaks." She also said "if we didn't like her music choice TOO BAD! don't listen." Anywho this went on and on and while we sat at the port already behind schedule. To top it off, she dropped everyone at terminal C at IAH and told us to "figure out how to get where we're going." Nowhere does our agreement say we wouldn't be dropped off at our terminal. My nightmare with Galveston Limo. First, I try to be very fair with reviews/feedback of companies and the vast majority of reviews that I have written have been positive. Unfortunately, today is a 5%er. I originally booked the shuttle (round-trip including our return to hobby after our cruise) and paid with a 5pm time of pickup. With the storms yesterday sweeping the nation, we changed to an earlier flight to avoid as much of the weather fallout as possible and because of this, last night, I requested a shuttle change to 12:35 today. Galveston Limo replied yesterday and said to call them when we landed and they would switch our pickup time. So we landed at 10:45ish this morning and I called to schedule the 12:35 shuttle. I was told that due to the weather my pickup would need to be pushed back to 1:30 because of them running slower due to road conditions, that was going to be the earliest pickup time of the day. Fine, DW and I waited the almost 2 hours and took the time to eat lunch...at the airport eek lol. We go to the designated spot 10 minutes early and wait until 1:35 and then call Galveston Limo only to be told that they are running a little late. Waited another 25 minutes, called back and was told driver almost there. Waited another 20 minutes and along with hold time (if you noticed the theme of me having to call them, you are correct smdh) of another 15 minutes was told driver is 45 minutes away. Spoke to (very unprofessional manager who blamed me for not being patient over 2 hours from the original pickup time) manager and was told traffic was a problem coming back from Galveston close to the airport...just drove that portion in an Uber and there is No traffic issues either way. Needless to say we canceled and requested a refund or will dispute the charge if need be. Just want to make everyone aware for anytime now or in the future you find yourself in Houston/Galveston, AVOID GALVESTON LIMO AT ALL TIMES. read more

We frequently use this company for car service to the airport from Galveston. Recently my mom was flying to IAH and her flight was delayed 4 hours due to a mechanical issue. Her driver told her when she arrived that he had been checking her flight status so he was aware of the delay. She recently had an additional charge for $50 on her credit card. She called to ask why there was an extra charge and she was told that her flight was late and the driver didn't want to go back to Galveston and then return later. She told my mom that if she didn't want to pay the fee, then they would just take the $50 out of the driver's paycheck. What an absurd passive aggressive tactic to extort extra money from a frequent customer. I am done with this company and will just rent a car for the 5-6 trips a year I have been taking. read more

The van filled up with smoke. From the cruise port, they showed up 30 minutes late. Courteous operators. Bus arrived on time. Driver (Kara or Tara?) was so much fun! Careful driver and gave us a little history about the town. The directions on where to meet the bus after the cruise was not accurate. If I hadn't called the office, I would have been on the other side of the building and would have missed my ride. They need to update their standard email or send notifications to passengers as to where the short van will be picking up. It wasn't in commercial parking zone between G-H or 41/42. Booked round trip shuttle for 2 from Houston to Galveston for a cruise @ aprox $150. Very professional with reasonable rates. Princess cancelled cruise after hours on Oct 30 so when I called on the 31st it was inside the 5 day window for cancelations. I was only refunded $28 dollars. The policy was clear and they did nothing wrong and they were extremely nice and professional but I was still upset that I was out $120 because Princess had plumbing problems. So I am voicing that here as I believe there should be a 2 day carveout for carrier interruptions, that can be confirmed. read more

Long story short, save yourself the headache and book a lyft or other transportation. Shuttle from cruise port to airport was over an hour late. No contact from the company to let us know of a delay, we had to call them. Customer service was very short with us and acted irritated that we were calling. We were told the shuttle was stuck in Mardi Gras traffic, but upon leaving the port... no traffic! Shuttle then made multiple other stops, putting us about 1.5 hrs late leaving Galveston. We missed our flight, no other flights were available, we had to book for the next day, and ended up incurring several hundreds of dollars in rebooking fees, hotel fees, food, etc. Given that the company had other shuttles earlier in the day they should have been aware of any traffic issues and adjusted accordingly. I have used this service 6 times, with the first 2 times occurring in 2019 and the last four times just this year. They are always easy to find, show up early and provided great transportation to and from the island. I have used it from both Houston airports and got the same great service! I gave 3 stars because some things were very good and others were not PROS: Unbelievable low price when I compared to Super shuttle, taxis, Uber, Carnival Shuttle & other limo services. We paid $400.00 TOTAL (in advance online) for 10 people with 20 suitcases to go from Houston Hobby Airport to a Galveston Island hotel on a Friday evening and then be picked up at Carnival Cruise port the following Saturday morning and return to Houston Hobby Airport. Many places I called wanted over $1,000 and carnival would have cost $750 but wouldn't drop at the hotel (strictly airport to port). They were very friendly when I called with questions. Completing my request online was fairly easy. Received confirmation with pertinent info. The same woman picked up/dropped off was nice. The drive took about 60 minutes as expected. CONS: it wasn't clear where exactly to wait at airport. We did see one of their black large limo vans (we were in the large white shared shuttle vans) and that driver was nice but it took him 15 minutes on the phone to find out when/where our driver was. Finally our driver came over to us but there was more confusion than seemed necessary. The female driver opened the back doors and stood there while we loaded our own bags and did not offer any help. We told her about 8 of our smaller bags didn't fit in the back and she told us to just load them inside the van, but they kept flying around and falling out while we were driving. Once we got off the ship and found out where to wait I called Galveston limo and asked when they would arrive to pick us up. It was 9:30 a.m. and I was told they would be there at 11:30 a.m. I told them that our confirmation states that multiple shuttles will be waiting at the airport but they replied it will be at 11:30 in 2 hours. The port had no place to sit and no shade. All 10 of us with 20 bags had to stand and wait in the hot Sun for two hours until the shuttle arrived. It was the same woman who had picked us up one week earlier and again left us to load our own bags and even left us to load other passengers bags. overall I would say that you get what you pay for... And the hassle of all the waiting on both ends was still worth saving $600-800 read more

We used Galveston Limo for my son's high school Prom in Galveston last weekend and I would highly recommend using them. We booked a Mercedes Sprinter van with them. Our driver, Charles, was great & friendly! He was the first car service to pick up everyone before the rain started after Prom. He shuttled the group of 14 to dinner at Gaidos, Prom, and then back home to our beach house safely. The booking was easy and smooth. Everything was on time and confirmed 24hrs before the event via text message. My son received a call before Charles arrival to pickup the group to start the night. He even had a step stool and assisted the girls getting in and out of the van with their dresses. If you are looking at this group for your upcoming event, don't hesitate to book them! We had a stressful (fun) trip planned in order to surprise my Mother-In-Law for her 70th birthday in Florida. The stressful part? Trying to herd all of our metaphorical kittens to DFW so we could fly out to West Palm Beach airport. We want to give Galveston Limousine and especially Maria a BIG SHOUT OUT for coming to our rescue today getting us to our cruise terminal safe. Let me start from the beginning. We had a large group going on the cruise, we used Galveston Limousine picking up the 12 of us at the air port to take us to Galveston to our hotels. We unfortunately were not able to stay at the same hotel, but that was ok with them, as they were able to accommodate dropping us off at a hotel 5 miles away. Now for the reason there is a BIG SHOUT OUT to Maria. Today, the day we were to board the ship to begin our vacation, Galveston was hit with an enormous thunder storm, flash flood warnings were sent out via cell phones and we were stuck at our hotel due to the main road (Ferry Road) was flooded. Our hotels shuttle was stuck in the flood waters after transporting two couples to the port. In notifying our companions they said to call Maria who just dropped them off with the same limousine company that picked us up from the air port. We contacted Galveston Limousine and requested Maria, who just dropped off our companions at the port terminal. We advised them we've been told Ferry Road was flooded and there were no Ubers or Taxi services willing to come get us. Rebecca at Galveston Limousine, who took my call, advised me there was no problem and she would dispatch Maria to come get us. There were two other families (taking a different cruise ship) going the same way and in the same boat (no pun intended) that asked if they could join us. Maria arrived in a 14 passenger vehicle and quickly got us loaded in the rain and on our way. The roads were hazardous and flooded beyond our belief. Maria was very calm, friendly and professional. She navigated us to the terminal port in a safe manner to get us to our final destination, to the relief of all in our van heading towards their vacations. We give Maria this SHOUT OUT for being such a wonderful transporter and navigating us away from the major flooded roads. We arrived safe and dry, in our opinion, she is an asset to the company and we will recommend them to anyone we know heading to Galveston. read more

If your looking for transportation I would NOT recommend Galveston limousine or Galveston limousine shuttle. Same company with two different phone numbers. They require 20% at time of booking then charge your credit card a week before your travel date. If something happens to your flight like cancellation or time delay, they will TRY to accommodate you but if there are no drivers available they can not transport you guess what - you don't get your prepaid money back! read more

They were a bit late when they picked us up from the cruise ship terminal going back to the airport, but that wasn't the issue... when I called to find out about the shuttle, the lady on the phone was very rude and told me to "just wait".
