I really enjoyed my experience at this Enterprise location, especially for its service by John (or Josh?) who was very professional, personable and friendly. The location itself was a bit tricky doe as it was located in the deepest point of this commercial car park complex. Without a car, it could be a long walk in the midsummer/midwinter - it would be better if the location could provide some sort of taxi/shuttle service for those that are close by (5 km^2, eg) without walking in a complex for too long, like some car dealers do. The car itself was great (Nissan 2025 Sentra), with the very minor caveat that the previous renter might have been a smoker, so there was some lingering cigarette smell in the car. It could've used an even deeper clean. That said, the car itself was great & amazing - I had an excellent weekend getaway thanks to it. I'll be back to this enterprise often particularly given its amazing customer service. read more

No clue how to do their job, all they can say we can't promise you that if we get the car you want.No one asked for your promise just do your job and answer with yes or no. Waste of time dealing with them they just want to get rid of you when you talking to them over the phone . Awful customer service! I called 4 times to ask a question about returning a car early. They put me on hold all 4 times for over 30 minutes and eventually hung up. This is how they think they can make the customer forget about their inquiry. NOT ME! read more

left 2 large karate duffle bags in the jeep we rented. home called to tell me we accidentally forget them when the "cleaned the car" after. c of kid not get through to ask if they found them. 3 months later they called me back to say they found them. i have used Enterprise many times over the years and have had excellent service by them. My car had to be repaired after getting hit and I contacted the Yorkdale location for a vehicle to be reserved for me. Due to severe spine injuries I can't drive a regular car and even have great difficulty even getting into one as a passenger. I was told a similar vehicle to what I drive would be reserved. I drive a small SUV called a CRV and reserved a SUV vehicle for myself. I even called Enterprise the day before to confirm my vehicle for the next day. Imagine my shock when they sent a regular car which I can't drive after reserving a vehicle 2 weeks before and even calling the day before to verify. Head office still has refused to comment on my complaint. Thank goodness the repair place was able to contact another rental agency. This is the second time this same location has screwed up on me and I needed a vehicle. I notified my insurance about this as Enterprise said they had no SUV vehicles but on purpose I drove past their location and saw 3 SUV vehicles in their lot. This location refused to honour my reservation as the insurance rates are slightly less than what they could generate. A very dishonest way to run a business location of what used o be a good rental agency. To refuse to honour a reservation because you could make more renting to someone else might be profitable but if your word in business is meaningless then how many other dishonest things would you do. Since I have used Enterprise many times without any issue the management team at this location is obviously the issue but doubtful if Head Office will even bother to investigate the way I was handled by their staff. read more

This place barely get's a 3 out of 5. The reason is because upon pickup of my rental, I waited 15 minutes while 4 guys in car coats listened to voice mails, logged onto computers and ran in and out checking cars. I waited patiently, but felt totally ignored. I believe you should always serve the client who is physically in the shop before serving callers and online reservations... but that's just my opinion... Anyways, when I dropped off my vehicle, I missed them by 5 minutes. They close at 6pm! I called Enterprise's 1-800 number to find a later drop off center and they said there weren't any in the area - seriously?! Well thankfully, they did not charge me for an extra day, but I learned later that they DO have a drop box for keys for after hours... Overall, these guys are really nice, but I think they are a tad disorganized... read more

Booked a car for noon on October 31st. There was a long line upon arrival and we were 4th in line and after waiting 20 minutes we were told the car is being cleaned and disinfected and it will take 15-20 minutes to get it. 30 minutes later we inquired about the status and we were now told "cars are coming from all over the city" and it should take 20-25 minutes. 40 minutes later we realized the line hardly moved, we were 3rd and upon further enquiry we were told the are no cars and they are doing their best without any assurance when a car may be available. At this point we cancelled the reservation and informed our niece and nephew in Hamilton that they will not be getting the Halloween treats this year... We realize there are all kinds of challenges in the age of COVID but that's exactly why transparency and communication is vital, not to mention courtesy. We got none of that. We will not be using Enterprise again. read more

Booked a car on Nov 14/2014 for a 3-day weekend special. Asked for pick up at Finch Subway station. Waited for 47 minutes in the cold weather outside checking to find the pick up car or the driver but no sign of the driver or the car called the branch again and I was told " The driver was there but didn't see you. He picked up 6 other customers"!! Just amazing, as if they knew how I look like. I was told to wait and they will call me back shortly. Waited another 10 minutes and no one called back. I left for home. Called the branch on Saturday morning to explain and get some kind of explanation from the manager of the branch but he, SAMAR, was rude enough to say "I can't do anything now. if you wanna talk to me call back on Monday, I am with a customer now " !! I suggested to him that perhaps he should take my number and call me to show SOME kind of service. at this time he hung up the phone on me !! SAMAR was very disrespectful, Showed no sign of being concerned about customer service whatsoever. I called the Enterprise customer service and complained about my experience with this particular branch and its so called MANAGER.. Awaiting call back.... What a joke.... read more

Typing this as I am waiting for my car. I arrived here over 30 mins ago but they still have not provided me with a vehicle. I am not sure why the wait is so long, makes me wonder if they even have the car available. I don't understand why there is such a delay everytime a car is being picked up. I rented from National because of the unusually long wait times, unfortunately I no longer have the option due to my new office location so I'm stuck with them. With National, their Emerald Club program allows me to skip the line, which is great for someone who has limited time to get to a business meeting. I almost have to allocate an hour to pick up a car! Other than that, great people. They are courteous and professional every time. read more

I was a bit skeptical after reading previous reviews but my experience was amazing!! I got my car in almost no time, on a Saturday which is supposed to be busy! The person working there was very nice and efficient. He explained everything that needed to be explained in a couple of minutes and I was out on my way! Dropped off my car on Sunday night and got my receipt the next morning via email. Will definitely be going back to this location. read more

Never rent feom this place. Go to discount or avis or anywhere but hereThey are bunch of liar, scammer a**holes. I got into an accident. The tow truck that took the car while I was transported to hospital was contracted by police. ..they said because u didnt call our tow truck ( even tho it would take hours for th em to come and police wont keep intersection closed for them until they come) I have to pay rental fer everyday until I return the car. I paid over 2000$ tow and storage fee and $900 extra for rental. I didnt pay 900 for 2 weeks they sent me to collection even tho headoffice said they wont until 30 days. They said I owe $300 not 900 if I pay that its all good. I paid $300 in cash after enterprise guy said their printer is broken they cant give me receipt he writr wrote on a business car e.g. " $300 paid to chris" later I found out I was charged $900 on my visa...I tried calling emailing headofficr manager cc company, nothing helped I got robbed, had to pay oa hefty fee which im sure they got back from insurance. And gave them $1200 tip on top of $2000+ they going to recive for tow and storage. read more

Needed a rental for the weekend to run errands for the holidays. I booked online through Expedia. They noticed my birthday had just passed a day ago and gave me a free "upgrade" which was a nice gesture (which was also why I gave 2 stars and not 1)... PROBLEMS: Upon pick up, I had inquired about getting dropped off after returning the car, since it was in their slogan. The rep said yes, it was fine as long as it's no longer than a 15 minute drive. Now when I went to drop it off, they actually said NO. And that they could only drop me off to the next major intersection (which I thought was pretty useless) I was pretty upset that I would be stranded and they suggested I bring the rental to another location so that I could get a ride home. I ended up doing this, and when they verified the total price it was about $100 MORE than what my confirmation said online. So I had to call the Thornhill location and they admitted there was a price error and would change it. MEH. read more

Great service, honest, terrific prices. And fast service too. I showed up @ 6pm and 9am. Each time there were 3 customers ahead of me, but each was being served by a different service rep. Pretty poor experience over-all. I left my garage-door opener in my rental car, and I went back to pick it up the following day, the employees there were absolutely dismissive and disinterested in helping me, claiming that they didn't have it anymore. I had to follow up with 3 calls and 2 additional visits, insisting it was, and finally was able to pick it up. The people who work here do not seem to care at all if it doesn't affect them, and they have no interest in using a little effort to help the customer. read more

Unbelievable service! Enterprise turned an awful situation ie: my car being hit and needing a rental..into a stress free, no hassle experience. I have been to other rental companies in the past, but, Thornhill Enterprise's customer service by far exceeds all others. Jordie, the manager in training was so helpful with picking out a car for me. He also called mid-week to see if the rental was ok and whether everything was going well. Picking up and dropping off the rental took less than 5 min and I could not speak more highly of them. Thank you for a great experience! read more

I loved it. First time I rented from enterprise and I will rent from them many more times. They gave me an upgrade which made my day and the service was amazing. Everything went smoothly. Reserved another 2 trips with them. Will come back and rewrite if anything changes. read more
