I had a terrible experience last Friday. I was treated rudely by an unprofessional Miranda. I was told by corporate representative I would be getting a call back to go over the incident. over a week later I'm still waiting for a response. there is complaint going back over a year for Miranda. She is so awful & yet nothing has been done to change her behavior. she must be a supervisors daughter because there is no other explanation how she has a job in customer service. read more

Directed to a pricier rental and told it was the only option available and told it would be covered by the insurance company. Later learned they do not know in advance what amount insurance will cover, charged hundreds of dollars extra. I've been a longterm Enterprise customer but will switch to Turo or carsharing. read more

The manger Miranda was totally unprofessional. After asking all different kinds of questions including the room number of the hotel I was staying she still wanted to call and confirm with the hotel. Even after the an orthodox questions I was refused rental. I felt total discriminated against by her. read more

Insurance paid for my 25+ plus day rental. Fernando and Andrew were great. Big shout out to them. They arranged a free pick up and drop off from the Body Shop. When I dropped off the car they told me that State Farm had only authorized 3 weeks for the rental (but I ended up needing almost 4 weeks due to the Body Shop running late). Andrew worked with State Farm to get me an extension so I wouldn't need to pay out of pocket. Andrew even called me afterwards to let me know it was all set and they were refunding my car rental security deposit. Great guys. read more

Unfortunately due to a car accident I needed a rental while my car was being fixed. I was picked up by Enterprise at the body shop and taken to this office. Because the other persons insurance was paying for the rental I had no say in what company. I had never dealt with Enterprise before. Upon arriving on a Monday morning, the lobby was packed with people. There were 3 or 4 employees. They greeted people when they walked in and said they would be with them shortly. They worked as quickly as they could but still giving each customer quality care. Returning my car didn't are as long as it wasn't busy. All the employees here were very friendly. There was an issue with the insurance and needing to extend my rental. Nicole was very helpful and keep me in the loop while this all got straightened out. I like enterprise but I will never use this location again. Insurance made an appointment for a rental for me and I waited 45 minutes passed my appointment time for someone to drive 1.5 miles to me horrible customer service, they didn't do the vehicle walk around with me or call to tell me when my rental was due. I reserved a car online only to go there to the site and to have them tell me that "there is no car available". After that they gave me a card and I was basically on my own. Maybe it's done differently in Tucson, but usually the people at the desk will check to see if there are other available cars at other Enterprises.It is unprofessional to have customers reserve cars only to say that you don't have cars available.. this is especially horrible for out of state people. IF you are a customer, either call in or choose another site.. you may not get a car if you reserve it online and no one will tell you that until you've gotten there read more

I made a reservation through Costco Travel for my Enterprise Rental car, and I paid $155 for a 6-day rental (this is 10% off and also includes a free upgrade). I loved driving my 2012 Toyota Corolla, and I already drive a 2008 Corolla, so it was nice to drive the same model. I called to schedule a pickup from my home for my reservation, and was told that I should call again, 20 minutes before I wanted to be picked up. It was strange, because the employee on the phone asked for my information, including my address and what time I wanted to be picked up. Later that day, I called again, and told a different employee the same information. My pickup arrived on time and was very friendly and conversational. He said that he enjoyed picking up the customers since he could get to know them and found it more personable and it also allowed him to get out of the office. Once we arrived at Enterprise, there was one Toyota Corolla that was there, and I had to wait 10-15 minutes for it to be cleaned, and then I was good to go. When I returned my rental, I had my roommate follow me to Enterprise with my personal car, and after I dropped off my car, I was able to drive it to work, and an employee drove my roommate home. This was extremely convenient, as I didn't have to drive home, and was able to make it to work on time. If I ever need a rental car again, I'm definitely planning on going with Enterprise!! read more

All I can say is, do not rent from Enterprise. I have been waiting 1.5 hours for a rental. And I had an appointment. Still waiting. He said that Enterprise is experiencing a national car shortage. They don't advertise that. Their ads make it sound like they pick you up in the car you are renting. NOT TRUE!! read more

Amazing that they're still in business. Specifically, Enterprise on Stone in Tucson. So, the day started when I dropped my car off at the body shop. Enterprise called me last week to tell me to be there by 8:30 am, I was, they didn't show up until after 10, that's the easy part, too, there was another woman waiting too, they told her to be there at 8 am. When we got to the office there were NO cars, and, they had no idea when one would be available. The gentleman said he would continue trying, I suppose he did. By about 11:30 no cars, I called my husband to pick me up there, with the understanding they would alert me when they had a car, never heard anything until I called there. Now it's after 2 pm, I just called for an eta, the car type I requested was not to be found, they will have some kind of car for me at 3 pm, and they did. I guess if I waited for their call I'd still be waiting!!!! I know the problem with rental cars now, that has nothing to do with shoddy service. Lying or stalling is just absolute terrible service. I've dealt with Enterprise in the past, I didn't want to again, unfortunately the body shop said they're easy to deal with, don't think that holds true for them anymore. Grrrrrr. read more

These guys were great. They helped rectify a mistake made by the concierge that had arranged the rental and goofed up the time. I was running late and they got me in and out of there in 15 minutes. upon return of vehicle I received my receipt and returned home. When home I noticed they charged me $60 in DW fees. When asked at the counter when renting if I wanted Damage Waiver I of course like everyone with a brain said no. The clerk (a former employer of mine who was caught smoking marijuana on the job) said no problem we will just put you down for minimum everything by law, I said great. Checked out the car and went on my vacation. When I noticed this charge I called them immediately in which the assistant manager who said that my signature was on the damage insurance. I explained that the employee and I had gone over it and I did not want insurance and he marked off an x every where he needed an initial, perhaps he put it in the wrong spot. He then claimed his employee would never do that. I explained to him that I manage a local sports team that rents vehicles fro travel 8 times a year and nothing like this has ever happened, he then called me a liar and said he was sorry I felt his customer service wasn't up to par and hung up on me. I have a complaint in with their corporate office and hopefully they can get this resolved. I also hope the manager knows his assistant managers terrible attitude cost his business over $5000 a year. I rented a car here for the week and had a good experience. The reservation was easy, the service was fast-- I was in and out of there in five minutes. They gave me a new model of the Beetle which had a clean interior. Drop off was easy, no extra fees, and they gave me ride right away to where I needed to go. read more

Enterprise car rental has always been my favorite. We took Amtrak from St Louis to San Diego California with several stops along the way where we rented from Enterprise. I had a real cliff hanger in Tucson when I could not find our rental agent on Stone and dropped the car at another location. With minutes to go before the train with my wife and a friend left for St Louis they got me to the train on time. What a heroic effort! Thank you. I wish there was a rental near Big Bend National Park; we hired a taxi to get from the train to the park. read more

I had a very unpleasant experience with my Enterprise car rental reservation at the North Stone Ave in Tucson location that I feel the need to share in case others find themselves in a similar predicament. I have Mercury insurance with a car rental reimbursement option. My agent with Mercury automatically made a reservation with Enterprise on the day I was to drop my car off for repairs at Caliber Collision. I called to confirm my reservation with Enterprise through one of their centralized agents since it was after hours and all local branches were closed. The agent kindly confirmed my reservation and reminded me to bring a credit or debit card along with my driver's license. I was picked up from Caliber Collision and taken to the Enterprise branch on Stone Ave to pick up my car. Andy Liu, the branch manager was checked me in. After giving him my debit card and driver's license, he informed me that the address on my driver's license could not be confirmed and that I would have to present one of three utility bills in order to prove to prove my identity: 1) an electric bill; 2) a water bill or 3) a gas bill. In addition, he informed me that any of the bills would have to be current, paid up to date and not delinquent. I informed him that I did not have any of these items on me and also told him that the agent who confirmed my reservation told me only to bring my driver's license and debit or credit card. Obviously frustrated, I asked Mr Liu why was this so necessary when my address on my driver's license was current and that I had more than enough money in my account to cover the cost of the rental. Andy kept simply kept repeating over and over that I had to have one of the three bills I had to have in order rent a car. I then realized that I had an online electricity bill that showed my address. However, Mr Liu would not accept this as documentation because it showed I owed $40 from the previous month. At this point, I really lost it and asked him what that had to do with proving my identity in order to rent a car. He replied "It's kinda like a little credit check!" I got the impression Mr Liu had gone through this routine so many times with other potential renters that showed up for their reservations with only debit cards for payment that he simply had given up on showing any patience or empathy let alone any compassion for any others caught up in this predicament. I felt like he just wanted to get rid of me, tired of all the explanations. And besides, it was my insurance company Mercury that sent me here in the first place without asking me where I wanted to rent the car. Somehow, I should have been aware of this policy and had the documents on hand along with my driver's license and debit card. I finally gave up and went back to Caliber Collision to tell let them know that I wouldn't be leaving the car for repairs after all due to the issues with Enterprise. The folks were in disbelief when I told them what happened. Apparently, Caliber Collision does a lot of business with Enterprise and could not understand why I was being treated that way. In the end, the good folks at Caliber Collision offered Andy Liu to pay for my car rental expenses and add it to my bill on their end. I finally returned to Enterprise along with another Caliber customer to pick up my rental. This person was in a similar situation as I. She only had a debit card for payment and did not have any current utility bills in her possession either. I couldn't help but notice that she went in to the office at the same time as I did and came out in a matter of minutes driving off in her rental car. Hmmm. read more

When I had called to set up my appointment to get my rental I was told I just needed to bring my license and card to pay when I picked up. When I had called later in the day to inform them that I would be getting to my pick up location a little later, the manager Andy started talking really fast about how he needed my card info now and that I would need to be bringing my insurance card and a utility bill with my name and address on it. I then explained to him that I did not have those things with me and that it's on the other side of town. And that the reason I was needing a rental car is because my vehicle needed to have the AC fixed as at the time it was blowing out hot air. It is 110 degrees here and I am 6 months pregnant. I explained to him no one told me I needed this info when I first made the appointment and I would have to travel 30 minutes to the other side of town and back, mid day with no air conditioning in 110 degree weather, and I am 6 months pregnant. He then continued to tell me the same info multiple times very fast and I eventually said fine I will go get it and have it when I pick up. After I traveled an hour in the heat to get this info from my house, I then called enterprise to tell them I was at my pick up location. Which I was then told by Andy that they are trying to get a driver and "someone will be there when they get there". I would have been better off getting an Uber as the repair shop and this Enterprise are only a 7 minute drive from each other. I then was picked up an hour and 15 minutes later making the people at the repair shop stay after closing because they wanted to insure I wasn't sitting outside in the heat. Once I was picked up and arrived at enterprise, turns out the information I had to drive an hour in the heat for was not needed and they only needed my driver's license and card like I was told before, because I was already approved. Andy then walked up as I was paying and ask his co worker "was she approved?" To which she replied yes. I told him all the information that I had to drive across town for was not needed and his only response was "oh, better to have it then not". So all of it was not necessary and I had driven in the heat, while pregnant, for something I didn't even need to have. All because the manager Andy couldn't slow down, take the time to talk to me, and understand my situation I was trying to explain to him. My family has always used Enterprise for vacations and work travel and now I am a little weary of using them again. The woman who picked me up and helped me check out was very nice and polite and apologized for the inconvenience and misinformation. And the woman who I originally set up the appointment with was also very nice and polite and answered all my questions. To finish I am just very disappointed that this behavior was coming from a manager and I will think twice before renting with Enterprise again. read more

I rented a car from the Tempe location for a business trip to Nogales Mexico on my corporate account. About 50 miles south I realized that the car was not going to cut it. I called this location to see if I could upgrade and the lady on the phone was everything but helpful and did absolutely nothing to help out my situation. She did however let me know that she didn't have the manpower to help me talked over me and offered zero alternatives except to tell me that I should start calling around. I'm not upset with the lady on the phone she was just overwhelmed with her situation, I'm upset with her leadership. read more

It took me 7 phone calls to get confirmation that my friend and I would be picked up and taken to the rental car location. Most of these calls were either me being put on hold or told that they would call me back (they never did). The pick up arrived 20 minutes late. When we got to the rental office, our rental vehicle had gone to drop off an employee home. We got the car 10 minutes later. The car itself was fine and the the price was competitive. And they did drop my friend and I back home. But this Enterprise office REALLY needs to work on their phone skills and punctuality. read more

Worst experience ever!! After I arrive at bus terminal around 2:00 PM, I consider to rent a car and go to desert museum. So, I checked the web page that shows they have available cars. I also call office and ask about availability for confirmation. They said they have. So, I walk 30 mins to opposite direction from my hotel with large luggage. After I arrived, they said they have no car. WTF is that!? They said airport have available car and just give a copy of map (nothing more). I wait about 20 mins for nothing. It is 3:20PM. I realize I do not have time anymore to go airport and pick up car then go to see museum. I decide to cancel my reservation and ask them to just drop off to the hotel. They declined with said it is too far (hotel is 1.7 mile from there). They can find 9 miles for airport but cannot drive 1.7 miles because it is too far. Because I do not customer anymore? I can't believe this attitude! Then they call taxi. Finally, I wastes $9 and 1 hour for nothing. I just should have walked to hotel. At least, it is closer than walk to enterprise. I suggest to not go here. You have no way to check the availability. You also don't get compensate in case that you cannot rent a car (at least they can call taxi for you tho). read more

It's not the Enterprise it once was. I have three issues: 1) the car I rented smelled like an ashtray. When I rented I was admonished not to smoke in the car. Fine. I don't smoke. After my rental all my clothes needed a wash and dry clean. 2). They have short hours. Fine. But no drop box for keys? If you return you're car at, say, 6:30pm you will be charged a full add'l day. 3) returning the car upon opening the next day is not an acceptable alternative to short hours and no key box. C'mon Enterprises...you've lost that lovin' feeling. Hello Avis. read more

Trying to get a vehicle in a hurry to get to a family emergency out of town. They had no cars, and the employee there said "plus, we don't to walk ins". After being asked, the employee called another location to see what they had. My wife was in tears trying to get out of town in a hurry, while this person (who was told our situation) decided it was a good time to catch up with the other employee on the phone. After several "bro" and "dude" remarks, he hung up and said they will call him back, and when he does, we will get a call. They never did contact us. We called another location as soon as we left (as we suspected we would have to anyway) and the person from the Speedway location wanted a current pay stub, and a utility bill, a CURRENT utility bill they said, with no past due amounts. We have rented from them many times and have never been asked for this before. We made other arrangements with another rental company, and will not be using Enterprise again. read more
