Just want to tell everyone that will Listen: Do not rent from Enterprise Rent a car in Twin Falls, Idaho! My personal experience: I reserved an SUV and needed to be picked up at my townhome. I got into the backseat of the vehicle that came to pick me up and the driver (female) told me to show her my drivers license and credit card before she would take me to the actual rental place here in Twin Falls! I told her I didn't feel comfortable doing that and that I had never been asked in my entire life to show my drivers license and credit card before I had even left my home and made it to the rental counter. She then told me, " you never know, you won't believe what we've dealt with!" I finally did show her and she proceeded to grab my drivers license out of my hand. I finally told her she could look at it and I asked who her manager was because I wanted to speak with them about it. She proceeded to tell me she was an assistant manager in training. I said well let's go because the first thing I'm going to do is talk to your actual manager about being forced to show my drivers license and credit card to a complete stranger and her refusing to move the vehicle to get to the rental place! She then called her regional manager and proceeded to tell him that she wasn't comfortable driving me and that I had told her I was being held hostage in the car!! By this time I'm still in the backseat, all she did was turn the vehicle around on my street pull over and call the regional manager; however, still in front of my townhome!! By this time I'm raising my voice and trying to call the office myself because I'm completely upset and delayed on my trip out of town and this lady is completely twisting the situation. I had asked her repeatedly is this a written policy that Enterprise requires customers to not only show their drivers license but also their credit card before their driver will even take a customer to the rental office to rent a vehicle. I told her this is America and I had never been treated this way in my entire life of renting cars. She then got permission from the regional manager to have me leave the vehicle. I had repeatedly called the office and asked to speak to the manager and the regional manager but was hung up on several times. I got out of the vehicle and told this lady she could close her own back door and walked back into my townhome!! I then tried calling their office several times to get a phone number for their corporate offices to make a complaint. I also asked to have the regional manager call me. I made several attempts to verify that Enterprise rent a car has a written policy that requires customers to show their drivers license and credit card information when receiving what is supposed to be a courtesy pickup from a customer's home address. Mind you, no one has contacted me about this situation. I finally found an 800 customer service line and asked that I be contacted by corporate offices. No one has contacted me. I will never rent from this company again! I'm putting this review on Google as well. And here's the kicker: I had signed up for their Customer loyalty program in their app and had registered all this information from my address to my drivers license and credit card! Their office had all of this information already!! I'm furious the Enterprise rent-a-car feels like it can have customers accept this treatment and not worry about losing a few! The Damage Recovery Unit and the Twin Falls location staff, however, were useless and frustrating. *Initial Review: A month after my rental, I received a bill for damage that I did not incur (multiple issues, including that the photo was from a different location than I returned the car). My contact with Damage Recovery (Tasha C.) ignored my emails and only sent automated responses. Twin Falls staff refused to provide any contact information for anyone who could help me. 2 hours after pickup time waiting on an oil change finally told me that the van needed new tires. Reserved 10 days before in person in the office. Called at 8 said had to have an oil change then 2 hours after pickup time told would need tires and not be able to have it down for 5 days. Great job never will go there again. read more

So i just went to pick up my rental my reservation said i would have to come up with 85.94. When the attendant told me the total was going to be 365.00 i about passed out. so when i make a reservation with Alamo or budget or any other car rental places. the total i was quoted is the total i payed except for the fuel surcharge. Then because i dont know weather or not my card has an extra 280.00 on it the attendant stated well i only have one chance are you sure you want me to run it . I've never been treated this way. It's simple, as a customer, I go online and book a rental car. As a company you tell me it's available. Bingo, we have a contract. Then 10 minutes before I'm due to pick said rental we agreed upon, the company calls and gives you the BS. We do not have your rental and we are not going to get your rental any time soon. This left me stranded at the RV park with 5 kids who were expected to go fishing and hiking. Not the vacation I PLANNED on. So now I'm left scrambling to find a rental car. This location seems to have problems. Why hasn't enterprise stepped in to fix them? How can such a simple concept go so wrong? Enterprise has now lost a once loyal customer. And to top it off, Enterprise has always been more expensive than their competitors but I paid it for the simple fact I could always depend on getting a clean reliable rental. Not at airport! No airport parking spot. Booked online to take a car from Boise Airport to Twin Falls Airport. My confirmation email said "Dropoff: Enterprise Twin Falls Airport" and then some address. Imagine my surprise when I arrived at the Twin Falls Airport and was told there is no Enterprise Dropoff there! I tried to call but of course everything is closed Sunday in twin falls. People at the 1-800 number had no idea about local procedures. It was a mess, I almost missed my flight. I left the car with National and left many messages with Enterprise as they were closed. I'm glad that they didn't charge me extra for the mishap but the "airport location" is many miles from the airport. read more

If there was a negative rating-I'd use it!!!! I'm an Idaho & Twin Falls native. At the Twin Falls Enterprise EVERY reservation gets messed up-every time. This time I talked with Paige at E-corporate on Friday (Dec. 31st) & reserved a truck & specified I needed A TOW PACKAGE to tow a car & made sure it'd be there Monday (Jan. 3rd). Paige tells me it'll be ready Mon. at 8:00, which actually turned into 9:30. HA! Ya right...at 10:20, the F-150 finally arrived...WITH NO TOW PACKAGE. & the older blonde lady Enterprise employee then tells me "we don't allow customers to tow." (Even though I've towed 3 other times-lol.) I went elsewhere because these Twin Falls Enterprise people are stupid (& that's being nice). We have been 'bailed out' by the Blue Lakes crew in the past on an after hours emergency. Since then when we need a rental from Twin Falls we don't consider using anyone but them. We have used Enterprise for week long rentals twice for vacation by renting mini-vans with the extra seating twice. For the most part the need for a rental for us and I think a lot of customers is usually when your primary vehicle is down for repairs, etc.. That is where the Blue Lakes team has come thru for us. My wife has gone with the managers choice option MORE than once and has always received a vehicle and terms that where more than expected. What has made us fans is the pick up and delivery options along with the leaving the rental open ended considering how repair shops don't always deliver at the promised date of repairs. read more

I left a brand new iPad in the rental. I called as soon as I realized, and was promised that the iPad would be returned. This was after multiple rentals within one month. I waited several days and did not receive the iPad. I called again, was told it had not been sent but he promised to take care if it that day. Called again twice. The last time I was put on *hold* so the associate could speak with the manager, only I heard their conversation. He refused to take my call. The associate told me he was at lunch, so I asked for a return call. He never called back. I contacted the corporate offices of enterprise, and never heard anything. The thing is, I know my carelessness is at fault but I would have preferred honesty from the employees. Instead I was lied to multiple times. Now I'm wondering who has my brand new iPad. I called the next day and they said they found them I drove there and once I got there they told me they still haven't found my things. I switched a reservation to here for a better price little did I know they would call the day before our trip and tell us the van we rented wasn't an option and the best they could do was a small suv. I own a small suv I needed more space. Reservations at this place apparently don't matter, and the first person I talked to was useless didn't care at all about the fact that this was a huge inconvenience. I was basically told it was my fault because the minivan I reserved was a specialty Item and it's not their fault they can't honor my reservation. She then transferred me, presumably because she had no social skills and didn't like the fact that I was angry to another person who was actually friendly but same effect. Person number two did manage to "reserve me" a midsized suv but our 11 day road trip is now going to be a lot less comfortable and I'm a lot less excited for a trip I've been look forward to for months. I got rear-ended and needed my car repaired. Per the insurance company's directions, I scheduled my repair out to allow time for Enterprise to have a car available for me. The insurance rep gave me a confirmation number, so I thought I was ready to go. I was completely unaware, until I arrived at the auto body shop for my appointment (which I had already put off for Enterprise's sake), that I would not have a way home or the ability to take care of the needs of my large family while my car was out of commission. I guess Enterprise was supposed to contact me to finalize the transaction, they said they did, but no representatives left a message, and I found no indication they called. If they did call, they did not bother trying back or attempt to establish contact with me at any other time. Because they didn't get in contact with me, they did not reserve a car for me as I supposed. The person I spoke with on the phone was polite, but did nothing to offer me any kind of help even though the mistake was on the part of the company's. I was told there would be no vehicles available until later in the week (by which time my car would be finished anyway), and little or no apology was offered for my inconvenience. This company does a pretty good job of making sure the cars are clean, and the wait time is short. The people with the bad reviews on here either booked a car last second or don't understand how the car industry works. If a car returns in need of an oil change or damaged, the company can't rent the car again it is pretty simple. When the cars go out there is no way of knowing if someone is going to put 200 miles on the car or 5000 for the weekend. I would rather have a safe car that I hd to wait for rather than forced to take a car that could have potential mechanical problems. I rent from Enterprise in Twin Falls on a fairly regular basis. I think this company does a good job of customer service training because I've not had any issues with the service. Every once in a while, I have gotten a rental vehicle that was different from what I requested, such as getting a pickup truck instead of a car. Every once in a while, they have to fuel up a vehicle before I can take it, which means I have to wait a few minutes before I can go. However, for the most part, the staff at Twin Falls do a good job of trying to make sure everything is right. I enjoy doing business with Enterprise at Twin Falls. read more

I rent from Enterprise often and have had fairly good service. This time my car was not there, but I was upgraded and given a car immediately. My only issue was with the vehicle. I drove to northern Idaho and was getting about 22 - 24 mpg. On the way back I got 12 mpg and almost ran out of fuel in the middle of the night because of the long stretch over the mountains. The check engine light came on ... I don't know if that had anything to do with the fuel mileage or not. When I shared this with the representative he was dismissive. read more

The customer experience at the Twin Falls Enterprise is off and on. Most of the time the service is less that what is expected. I really think that the manager at this Enterprise is not up to par and needs to really be retrained or you will loss alot of business. I have rented from car rentals at the airport in Twin and find thier customer service by far much better than the Twin Falls Enterprise. The last time I rented the manager was condescending and had the nerve to roll his eyes at me. When I called him on it he out right lied to me and told me he did not roll his eyes. This is not the only time I have had issues with customer service at the Twin Falls office. After my last run in with you employees I may just cancel my membership with Enterprise and use a different car rental company. When I told the manager that he told to go ahead and use a different company from now on. I'm so glad that your manager does not feel the need to keep your customers and that you will not miss the money. Enterprise may loss me as a customer and I rent a car several times a month if not more. Other customer be wear that this manager does not see the value of good customers and is not afraid to offend those customers. Reserved an SUV a week prior to needing the vehicle. The reservation was for an 8:00 am pick up. I got there at 8:05 am, and I was told that they didn't have an SUV for me. I specifically requested the SUV as to my destination was forecasted for snow. I explained this to them and they told me that they might have one come in at 9:00am. I really didn't have the time to wait an hour, and especially for a "might". The representative called the renter and confirmed that he would NOT be there at 9:00 am. They offered a very, very small SUV that just came in (FIAT), it was not cleaned, and if they had asked me if I wanted it cleaned I would have said no, because due to the situation I was running late on my appointment. The car also had a cracked window running from the Drivers side all the way to the Passenger's side. I pointed this out to the representative and he stated that he was aware of it. I booked a car from twin falls to drop at Boise airport I got the confirmation that it was $30 and when I went to pick up the car it was $175! Yes I was mad and one young man was helping me then The jerk took over. Yes I did say a few choice words and instead of working with me and trying to figure out some option( my husband is an enterprise member and rents from them all of the time) the jerk said I don't have to rent you a car etc as you are verbally abusing me and my employees. He said get your conformation email and he proceeded to be condescending and said you see it says return here and threatened me again with if you dont calm down I won't rent you a car so I said please rent me a car as I need to get on the road and my son can't drive me as he has a job interview today so then I said never mind give me my card and we left.
