I backed into one of those yellow concrete poles in a parking garage with my recent rental and luckily I got their insurance coverage. When I returned it I was embarrassed and my husband was running late for work so I had to get in and out fast. I was able to hand keys in and show the side swiped damage and go. Given it is Labor Day weekend I had to postpone my auto mechanic appt and I will have to drive back next week again. Time and work I will waste. Worst Enterprise my daughter and I have ever been to! I have rented cars at least twice a month for the past ten years. The manager is not trustworthy, he lied to my dealership and told them he had no cars and when I called as an individual I was told they could accommodate me. And to top it off, after I finally got a car, I had to return it the next day because I discovered the left rear seat belt was shredded and wouldn't work. We returned and told the unconcerned manager. His solution was to CUT OFF THE SHREDDING BELT MAKING THE SEATBELT VERY THIN AND TELLING US IT IS OK AND VERY STRONG AND WE WOULD BE FINE! I reserved a car from them 2 weeks ago, got the confirmation email and everything. At 5:55pm on friday I get a text from Alex saying that due to low inventory they won't have a car for me and they will keep me posted. I called both the store and the number that texted me with no reply, they closed at 5 Friday. I get another text at 8:30am saying they are trying to locate a car. With texts back and forth, I still don't have a car for a reservation I had made 2 weeks ago and no help from enterprise or Alex. I have been coming here for years and no problems until now. I wasn't expecting a good experience at all at Enterprise rent-a-car in Vallejo. Tried calling at least a dozen times over several days but couldn't get through. On hold forever and the line would disconnect after 12 minutes adding to the frustration level. Had to drive out there in order to stand in line to get help. After that everything changed. We were assisted by a wonderful sales person named Ana who calmed us down and took great care in ensuring that the rental vehicle met our requirements. She made sure our billing was correct and was patient to apply our military discount. She spent 15 or 20 minutes with us going over the vehicle (it was a 15 passenger Ford van) and answered all our questions. We were really thankful for Ana taking care of us that day. Got a recommendation from Team Superstores in Vallejo to rent a minivan for our trip in the middle of march, and talked to Ishmael. We really wanted a Toyota Sienna, because my parents were in the market for purchasing a brand new Japanese minivan. The follow-up wasn't that great, and they asked us on the day of renting the minivan if we for sure wanted a Sienna. They tried to give us a Town and Country or a Suburban which was what we really didn't want, but my dad said, if there was none available, then we would just rather stick with the town and country or caravan. Lone-behold, one pops up down the road, at their other location. Ishmael gives us a ride, and my dad points out the damage on the bottom quarter panel to make sure we aren't liable for the damage. The Sienna had about a 3/4 tank, and Ismael says we had to bring it back with the same amount of gas. We are overwhelmed with what kind of features the Sienna has, and will for sure considerate among purchasing between this and an Odyssey. Although the service was good, giving us what we wanted, a few weeks after that, I tried getting a quote for a compact car, and their rates were ridiculously out of whack, and actually found a better deal online. Didn't figure out why exactly the rate was so cheap,. until I talked to the location for which I had booked at online, which mentioned that airport rates fluctuate because airports may have overstock, therefore having inexpensive rates. Had I known that from Enterprise in Vallejo, which is more convenient than going to another location outside of Vallejo, I probably would've given them another chance, but since they flat out gave me the middle finger, I wouldn't try my chances again, until I had talked to Ishmael. read more

First time coming in today, and Manny was very helpful and efficient at getting our reservation taken care of. He was not only pleasant, he made sure to make it easy and quick as it should be - especially if you've always had bad services at Car Rental places like I have. I also really like how they keep it professional in this place. Simple gestures such as greeting you and acknowledging your presence goes a long way. Much more refreshing than the old Avis that used to be located across the street! I would definitely recommend this place. read more

As I was coming from the gym off Fitzgerald, I noticed the police was at the vehicle and then realized the p/s rear window was bused out. Of course a report was filed. Upon things that were stolen, I immediately called the nearest location which was on Sonoma blvd across from truck rental. I was calling for about 30 mins while driving to this location. No one ever answered. As I'm pulling into the parking lot at 1:59pm I see one employee leaving, doors already locked. I immediately walk to the side and hear employees and I began speaking to one of the car preps who was cleaning a car. I said if you can tell who ever is working to come speak for a second I've been calling and no one is answering. He leaves and come back to say the Assistant manager said we are closed. I told him I just need to switch out it literally takes 1 minute. I said I was calling and tried to let you guys know but no one answered the phones. I've called from multiple phones and still no one answered. The car prep also said said the ass manager said the keys are already locked up but the car preps we're still cleaning and moving cars. I asked for the branch number number and the car prep said he didn't know and went back inside and Manraj gave him a business card to give me. Although not the car preps job, he seemed more helpful and willing to help. I'm sure the branch was not busy because tan employee left before 2. So I'm not sure why the my were not willing to help when I was calling for about 30 mins prior to coming to the branch. I just don't understand why the phones were not being answered and people are leaving early. This is very disappointing!!! read more

The rental office has a good vide, very clean and you get asked if you need help by every employee there! You don't have to wait around either. You are in and out quick. And they give you rides! Needed a car in a pinch, traveling with a team of basketball players and was the most efficient and helpful rental car experience I've had.

This location has discriminated against me. Unfortunately this has been a pretty rough week for me and my family. My roommate rented a car from this location and unfortunately someone hit him on the freeway. 2 Days Later someone pulled out in front of me and damage my car to the point where it can't be driven. I went to get a rental car from the the same location because my roommate was already doing business with this location and they're the only location in Vallejo. I spoke to the manager at this location by the name of Hawk. He told me that he would not rent a car to me because of my roommate getting into an accident. My roommate was hit on the freeway unfortunately the person fled the scene. He waited for the CHP to arrive and filed a report. this was not his fault and this is definitely not my fault yet I'm being denied a rental!? My insurance approved me for the rental and I have a clean driving record but I'm being discriminated against by this location simply because of living with my roommate. Do not go to this location!!! I sat in the waiting room with my four children with no car because the manager was so inconsiderate. Now this manager has placed a note in my file that I brought back a damaged vehicle. I have nothing to do with that vehicle I simply live in the same house. I asked the manager for the policy and procedure stating that this is how they handle business in this situation and he did not and could not provide me anything. First let me say that you cant trust the person on the phone who makes your reservations because they do not tell you the actual price . I was told $1.50 taxes and all but when i get thete they quoted me extra fees which was actually $5.00 a day. Second the reservation was not found so i had to wait 3 days for a car. 3rd i told them i needed a gas Efficient car instead they gave me a 4x4 which i told them i cant afford the gas so the gave me an SUV . Not happy. Last when i returned the car the guy told me i had a balance of $20.00 but the guy next to him looked and said it was actually $19.20. I ask him why he said $20.00 and he responded " I usually just round it off to the nearest dollar. Which in my opinion is stealing. 80 cents ads up daly,weekly, and monthly. This place is a HORRIBLE place and tried to scam my family. My family had to rent 3 cars over a weekend, and when we returned them, they charged us $500 for a baseball sized dent that we "caused", which existed prior to us even renting it! The manager refused to listen to us and tried to say WE were the ones lying, so we reported them to the better business bureau. Turns out they were investigated AND the dent was previously reported PRIOR to us renting the car - they were totally scamming us! Because of this, corporate returned our $500. The manager had the nerve to tell my mom that he had trained the guy who helped us and knew he walked over the car with us prior to us renting, which he did NOT do. Overall, this place is such a scam and I don't EVER recommend it to anyone. I think the staff at this location is stellar! Extremely professional and courteous. Talia and Julian were the 2 staff members who helped me when I picked up and dropped off and I have never experienced this level of professionalism ever when renting a car from any company. Talia and Julian certainly go above and beyond to make the experience seamless. They immediately addressed my needs for a van which would suit my needs for a family road trip. This made all the difference as we were comfortable during our journey. Although, I agree with some of the reviews that the location does need some improvement with their phones being answered, I most definitely still plan on using them for all my local car rental needs. Great customer service! I had requested to get picked up from my house on Friday afternoon free of charge. Got picked up by Andrew, who ran a little behind because of short staffing. Once we got to the office, it was a quick and easy transaction. Andrew and I gone over inspected the car before handing the keys over. Once I was finished with the rental, I came back Tuesday morning and was helped by Andrew again. It was another quick and great customer service. I was able to get a ride back home free of charge as well. Definitely will be renting from here again. read more

People there are nice, but terrible that you have a reservation, get there for your pick at your pick up time, and the reservation is not for the car you reserved but what they have available for you. When you try to get the best value for the money you spend, its difficult to do so here. Disappointed, because I have rented here 3x as this is the only Enterprise within a 15-20 min drive, and have run into the same situation all 3x. Although they are usually pretty nice there, they should probably have a little more empathy for the customer as they are the one being inconvenienced. Sometimes giving just a little more to appease a customer pays off ten fold by their continued patronage to your establishment. read more
