I don't understand all the bad review so I'm hear to leave one I think they deserve :) after having something of a hellish week including a hit and run accident enterprise was suggested to me through my car insurance after dropping my car at the near by collision repair, enterprise sent a driver promptly to pick me up. Due to the Covid 19 still being a present problem the checkin in process is a little different but the wait wasn't long at all Benjamin was the customer rep that helped me in what I consider a stressful week . Benjamin was very polite and ensured a smooth and quick transaction the car was clean no smells interior vacuumed. This location appears to have significant management and efficiency issues. During my visit, employees seemed to be moving very slowly, with little sense of urgency or clear direction. There was a great deal of conversation but very little visible productivity. After checking in and paying, I waited approximately 45 minutes for my vehicle to be brought up. The crowd and delays appeared to be caused more by poor organization and lack of supervision than by customer volume. Enterprise duped us into adding collision insurance after we had it from Expedia. Acted like it was not valid insurance. Asked for a refund and was informed because it was a one way rental they wouldn't help. Manager was unhelpful and unwilling to assist. Will avoid Enterprise rentals in the future. read more

We walked in and were promptly helped, we had to wait a little bit for our rental but they were very apologetic about it, the truck we rented was in great condition, clean and easy to drive. We turned it in a little late but they gave us a break because we had to wait when we picked it up. We highly recommend this place and will come again when we need to. read more

No point in making a reservation don't bother cus if they get walk ins they will go before you and give out the cars you reserved to walk ins so in reality reservations are pointless just walk in and you will have priority over all the reservations. read more

I reserved a vehicle that would accommodate 8 passengers days before my trip. I was notified at 7pm the night before my trip that they rented my vehicle to someone else. I am now out several hundred dollars due to not having a way to get to my destination. Horrible customer service! read more

They can have cars ready to go and ready to leave however, they were washing and vacuuming them and filling them up with gas before they could help each customer. I have been here waiting for over an hour they should help customers with reservations first before helping walk ins they are doing a list first come first serve. The guy who was answering the phone should have directed us to a different rental company that wasn't so slammed. Nathan was so helpful over the phone but after getting trapped here he went to lunch and couldn't get any service. Customers should never have to wait! Terrible Service. Terrible Cars. There's always a minimum hour wait time, even with a confirmed pick up time. Cars aren't fully cleaned prior to picking up. I had cars that smelled and had service issues. Once I asked for a replacement vehicle due to the original vehicle having service issues, they could not provide me a replacement and didn't even help me to return the vehicle, even after i emphasized the safety issue. unfortunately my company sends me here, however I would never come on my own accord. -5 stars if there was an option! Inconsiderate, waste of time and worst service ever! Made reservation for a midsize suv (or similar) on app. Scheduled pick up time for 12pm. Instructions stated to show up early due to the office closing at 12. Upon arrival, office was pretty packed with pick ups for their office close time being noon. Got checked in and waited. After waiting for 1hr and 10 mins patiently, a staff member called me up and states he is sorry that they do not have the vehicle or similar I made reservations for. He walked me out to the lot and offered me a Kia Soul, really? If i wanted a mini rental, I would've booked that. And their next offer was a compact Mercedes Benz. Their excuse was, "sorry we didn't get as many returns as expected." I'm sorry, but that is not my problem. Mind you, I got dropped off to pick up because I was expecting to leave with a rental. I ended up cancelling so he proceeds with, "Do you need me to open the front gate" cause now it was almost 1.5 hour after their closing time but they still had 2 customers picking up. Wasted over an hour waiting there and had to find a ride home. I could've left way earlier to try and book at another rental company if they would've just told me that there was no car avail. Unless you have time to be waiting for a long period, just to be told sorry we have no car, book somewhere else. This review is long overdue I've had a 25 year relationship with this company. Are used Costco to reserve my car and I've never had any issues with getting a car extending my rental exchanging the car or counter customer service. Today I was helped by Marissa she is awesome. My car was in the shop and I needed a car for a day today and for work I told her nothing too fancy just economical and she provided I got a Hyundai Elantra and that little car has some get up and go. The staff was great but this business is ran very poorly. I waited over an hour and a half before I left without a rental and I had a reservation. I understand a business being busy but this was ridiculous.There were people waiting there since 11am and I got there at 2:45, as they finished Checking in customers they then told them they had to wait another 20 minutes while they get the car ready. I completed the online Priority Pass for nothing. I thought I was reserving a vehicle that would be waiting for me at the auto body shop because that was an option provided to me but I was wrong. When I called they said "not sure why the online priority pass offers that but you will need to shuttle back to our place from the auto body shop." So I asked if they could send a shuttle for me because I had arrived at the auto body shop and they said that they could not send a shuttle until the auto body shop called them directly. Enterprise needs to work on continuity and quality. Good thing the staff at the Enterprise office were great or that would have been the icing on the cake. My recent experience with Enterprise in Visalia on main street was a disappointing one. I had made a one-way reservation on a Saturday morning with this Enterprise location so that I could pick up my new car from a dealership in West Covina. I set up the reservation so that I would drop off the rental car at the West Covina Enterprise location versus dropping off at the airport in Los Angeles since it was around the corner from where I was picking up my car. This worked perfectly because I had my 75-year-old relative with me at the time and they weren't able to drive one hour to the airport in Los Angeles traffic. All worked out perfectly as I returned the car and left the keys in the dropbox. I could not be more happy with the seamless reservation and made it home to Visalia before dark. All worked out great! Then came the disappointment. I received a call the following week from the manager Will that I was going to be charged for two days because the car was dropped off after 1 pm in West Covina. I told him that I did not have the car for even one whole afternoon so I don't understand why I'm paying for two days let alone the whole weekend. I went on to state that this was not disclosed to me and/or was an issue at pick-up. Not to mention the car was on empty when I picked it up. I then asked if they could work with me about having to pay for an extra day and he said he would need to talk to his regional manager Nathaniel. After several days of going back and forth, both managers told me there was nothing they could do and referred me to the customer service department to dispute. After five left voicemails to Maria Aarons at customer service, and one call to HR, I never received a call back from anyone. Overall I am extremely dissatisfied with Enterprise as a whole and left paying over $300 for this rental. For a company that prides themselves on giving excellent customer service, they demonstrate extremely poor customer service. Especially since this whole situation could have easily been corrected. I hope this is corrected in the future and that no customer has to ever experience poor service like this. read more

My insurance company provided me with a reservation number (so I assumed the reservation - as the Seinfeld episode says "holds the car"). But after Ubering to the Main Street location, I was told they were out of cars. So why provide a reservation number when you do not have cars? My advice: if you have a reservation number it means nothing. Make sure to call the actual location (not a call center) and verify they have your car there. read more

I was told to call and they would pick me up when I called no one answered I specifically let them know my time was limited since I had no answer I started walking about 20 minutes get there only to wait another 45 minutes. I returned a one-way rental here in October 2017. After I left, they called and told me they were keeping my $200 deposit due to damage under the car. I told them I didn't do it and I shouldn't have to crawl under their cars along with doing an exterior and interior visual inspection prior to renting. I asked them to send me pics of the damage, but of course they never did. The originating office gave me a deposit refund. AVOID VISALIA ENTERPRISE. Bunch of crooks. Do not rent a car from this place! I had to rent a car to go to my sisters birthday party on Saturday the man and for me that they were close Sunday so I'd have to bring the car back on Monday , fine, I had the car back a half hour before it was due at 9 AM. I got the bill and they had charged for today as well. I am formed the service man that I Donely had the car for two days not three, And he informed me that that was their policy it's calendar days of pay rent for and even though I got the car on Saturday it was technically due back until 6 o'clock tonight and I would have to pay for today's as well. my brother booked a car two weeks prior to our Thanksgiving vacation trip. The day before we get a phone call stating the eight passenger vehicle we requested was no longer available. They offered us a seven seater. If in fact, we needed a 7 seater we would have never asked for a or requested an 8 seater . we called and complained and the nice customer service rep over the phone advises that the eight seater would be available this morning. However, she did book 2 separate 5 seating SUVs in the event the 8 seater was not available. The morning of we called and we're told the eight seater was available and we were good to go when we arrived. We were told it was no longer available and we would have to proceed with the two 5 seating SUV's. At this point, we were already stressed, irritated and annoyed. My brother went ahead and took one of the SUVs while, while the rest of us drove our own vehicles. This was supposed to be a family trip where we all traveled together. Terrible experience. #1 Be careful with the insurance. They will act like you are required to get insurance from them. They will place it on a post - it or something on contract. I think they do this tactically. Also, the way they word it when they go over contract is confusing. My fault for not asking more in-depth.... #2 Selection. They will have nothing available at lowest price point. Don't believe me go rent from them... #3 No one way vehicles. I wanted to use the vehicle I had as a one way to another city. They couldn't accommodate. #4 Communication between staff. I called inquired about insurance and a staff member said they would reimburse. Rented a 15 seater van from here. Renting was easy but you need to make sure you mark everything and take pics. Less than half a tank of gas, interior not clean, no washer fluid, dent in door, musty smell. Make sure you do a very thorough inspection. The cars arent clean. Be careful for unexpected charges. We had an employer pay so it didn't bother me, but there would have been a $200 hold on our card. read more
