I originally made a reservation for a rental car while planning ahead so that I could go to my medical appointment while my car was being serviced at a neighboring shop. Upon receiving delivery of the car on 8/26 at 11:46 the odometer was at 49792. I noticed the car had basically no gas, however I was assured by the representative that the car would be able to drive another 45 miles. Per the attached rental agreement you can see I was told the car had 1.7 gallons of fuel in it. While attempting to drive from this enterprise location to Keck USC for my doctor's appointment (which is only 25 miles away) the car suddenly ran out of gas while I was on the freeway at around 12:10 literally minutes after taking delivery. The odometer was at 49806, I had only gone 14 miles. I attempted to contact enterprise while stranded on the 10 freeway in 100 degree weather however received no response. I had to call AAA for roadside assistance who were fortunately able to arrive at around 12:40 however by then I was unable to make my doctor appointment and was forced to reschedule for a much later date. When I returned the car later that day and notified the staff what had occurred they tried to back pedal on the claims of the car being able to drive for 45 miles however they had nothing to say after I showed them their own documented fuel level in the rental agreement. Given the manufacturer's EPA rating of 28 miles per gallon highway I should not have been stranded on the highway and missed my appointment if the car actually had 1.7 gallons of gas in it. read more

I prefer this location because of its proximity to my place whenever we need a rental and they have pretty competitive prices but the past few times I've been here they've been pretty low staffed...but one thing that prob got on my nerves more than usual is that although they technically had one employee managing all the rentals one morning, they did have another person sitting at a desk while at least 8 ppl were waiting. This person could have been a new employee or in training...but whatever the situation is, it's not a good look, esp when said person is just looking at their phone and seemingly hanging out....at least put that employee's desk or work area out of site at the least. read more

Do we came from an auto body store down the street first of all we had to wait at the auto body shop for enterprise to pick us up which was from 2pm until 3:30 then we had to be transported to Enterprise. They tried to give us a Prius knowing we needed a bigger car. So finally we were offered a bigger vehicle but had to wait another 45 minutes to get the vehicle because they waited on 4 people that came in after we did because they said it was a fast transaction because the people took any car! Well I feel like they should have finished our transaction before waiting on everyone else after us! So for a simple pick up we waited from 2:00 until 4:30 when we finally drove out. ‍. My poor car needed help and it was going to be out of commission for 7 days- 4th of July week and 2 rental car businesses did not have what I needed. It's Enterprise where all the managers are short timers. It's one of the best and worst things about Enterprise. The managers say it is a good thing because that means that they are getting a promotion. I say it is a good thing because when a bad manager is "promoted", they too will go. I've had to say "goodbye" to a few bad ones. Chelsea is the current manager at this location and she is the best manager that they have had at this location. I know her time is almost up. Why does Enterprise have to have a revolving door with their managers? Please keep Chelsea here longer. read more

If you don't have anywhere to go... just pick this place, and your car will take forever to come. Came to pick up our rental @ 2.30 pm. We called them to confirm our pick up time between 1.30 pm and- 2.00 pm - you will think that the car will be ready... but no. Then people that walked in after you get their vehicle before you... Matthew was extremely courteous, friendly and helpful. Enterprise conveniently keeps a few of their vehicles at the Tesla body repair shop in Pomona to make pick up and drop off of your rental 100 times easier. It sucks to have to bring your vehicle to the repair shop following an accident but Matthew from enterprise made the process painless. The The car I rented is very clean and comfortable and they included a cool little Clorox wipe despite the car already been disinfected. I've used multiple vehicle rental shops and locations in the past and this by far is the most convenient. Serious kudos to Matthew for his excellent customer service. read more

The staff members were helpful when calling but the girl, Adriana I think, is very kind. She's courteous and doesn't sound like she's tired when speaking to a client. The place itself is simple and clean but the vehicles are quite the opposite. I called a few times to make sure my insurance rental for a Tesla was prepared and ready for pick up but when I arrived I had to wait about 15-20 minutes since the car was dirty. When I was finally able to get the car, the exterior was covered in water droplets. Water isn't really a problem but on the inside there were dusty fingerprints everywhere including the steering wheel, the arm rest and the seats. Luckily I carry my Clorox wipes. I was a bit disappointed that I got the car this way and that it was only at 36%. I also seriously doubt they did anything to 'clean the car' since the previous client had sensitive documents left inside the armrest. The other thing is that I have changed my name on their profile 3 times and the documents still reflected an incorrect spelling so it's a little frustrating since it needs to be corrected for insurance purposes. read more

Update: Enterprise contacted me directly. They were able to locate paperwork determining the last renter was the one to cause the damage. The car was not supposed to be available as a rental. They apologized and refunded my deductable. I would still not rent from this location. Beware. read more

I travel for work and use Enterprise a lot for rental cars . It probably is one of these easier cars rentals to book online and get in and out when you get to your location for pickup or drop off. That's the four stars. But lately I don't think they've been putting much attention to their vehicles. Today I booked a car which said $233 for a week, I got they gave me an upgrade for $5/ day which would be $25 , I agreed and we moved forward. At the end when it came to signing he said the price was $293 roughly . I said how does that work? He looked and said I made a mistake I put you were returning the car at 10pm not 10am. The price dropped to $245 with upgrade . Still mathematically not working out but I'll take it . Then I see a sign that they hang on the rear view mirror saying they clean cup holders, steering wheel, etc. First thing catches my eyes is the cup hold when I get home . See photos attached..... The people are altas nice and helpful ... just slacking lately . Come on guys! read more

Step 1: Call Enterprise to see if your rental car is ready. They said YES. Get ready, head over about an hour later. Step 2: Arrive at Enterprise, told that your rental is not ready, they took it for an oil change and it'll be done in about 15 minutes. You see your rental car JUST leaving the lot as you enter the building. Leave and go get breakfast. Step 3: Return 30 minutes later, told that your rental car is STILL not back. Sit and wait. Step 4: Wait an additional 30 minutes and then you are FINALLY in your rental car that you called for hours earlier. Note: Reservation was for 10am, the car was not ready until almost noon. WHY have a reservation time? Why tell a client their vehicle is ready for pickup? Why tell them it will take 15 minutes to do an oil change when the vehicle JUST left so that they can wait an HOUR for the oil change to actually be complete and the vehicle returned? Does Enterprise not know how long an oil change takes? On another note, the same vehicle was returned before the weekend, a bag was left in the vehicle. Enterprise agent said they would have the bag returned on Monday when the client would be coming back to pick up the next rental, as the vehicle had been moved to another location. Bag was not returned to the Enterprise location, they "did not have time." The ironic part-- the SAME vehicle the client returned previously was the same one given to them when they rented on Monday, so they were able to move the vehicle but not grab the bag from the other location? Unfortunately I've had to get my car fixed a few times this past year, fortunately Enterprise is right next to my bodyshop to help me get into a temp car. With the stress of getting my car fixed, the last thing I want is to have trouble renting or returning my rentals. And i'm so thankful for the guys and gals over at. I've never had to wait an overly long time and if there was a wait, it was understandable because there is high volume of customers being helped. Everyone working is very fast, diligent, and very friendly. Communication is great and my experience each time has been amazing. They do follow up calls to see if I'm doing okay or need help and I really appreciate that. I think I'm just really grateful how they're always so friendly and happy. I know their work must be very fast pace and stressful at times so being able to have such a positive attitude def gives reassurance to the customers. read more

Customer service was great, Andrea was very nice the whole process. Pickup & drop off was quick, in and out of there within 10 minutes. They picked me up from the body shop my car was being repaired at to retrieve the rental and last day they gave me the options of them picking up the car at the body shop so I wouldn't have to drive to them or drop me off after. I am not sure why Enterprise would want to offer a 75 year old man (no, not the young at heart, jet setting, thrill seeking and fun loving kind of senior citizen) a Hyundai Veloster. Huge fail Enterprise. Know your customer and think about the type of car that might fit well within the class of vehicle requested. Yes there were other choices available, so WHY would you bring that car up. In addition to that, the car was fifty. There were obvious stains around the car that could have easily been wiped off with a cloth and some water. Then there was the center console that had wires sticking out. It's unfortunate that this is how you treat a loyal customer that has been coming to this location for over a decade. Was it really necessary to make me go down to advocate for my father? Your front office staff were less than helpful. Poor attitude and little regard for customer service. I had to take it up with corporate. I was pleased that we received a phone call back within the hour, but not extremely happy with the resolution or compensation. What I really wanted to hear was they would speak to the staff about customer service and to take into consideration a customer's individual needs. If there is a young kid, give him the little sporty POS car. If you have a little old man maybe give him a sedan or something. Considering he's a regular customer, maybe look at his past rental history and see what he usually gets. At a minimum, clean the vehicles between rentals. No one wants to soil their clothes on schmutz that could have easily been wiped away by your support staff. No one also wants hazards like exposed wires in their rental car either. read more

During the late 1980s and through the 1990s I rented hundreds of vehicles related to my work at the time. I had occasional customer service issues but, literally, never had to deal with a completely fabricated "policy" that permits the use of debit cards for all rentals EXCEPT pickup trucks. Fortunately I was able to go to a competitor who had no problem renting to me using a debit card. I have since filed a complaint with the office of the California Attorney General as anyone with a functioning brain in the 21st century KNOWS that groups that do not have a significant percentage of populations with credit cards all happen to have brown skin. If the AG fails to act then I'll bring a PAGA against Enterprise in federal court based on diversity and on behalf of all people who choose not to or are unable to obtain credit cards. read more

Also if you put in a complaint to enterprise corporate they will say they will transfer the complaint to the district manager but u will never hear anything!!! read more

Fascinating experience, all around. Following being told by a competitor in Downtown LA, "There are no cars in LA," I called this place. In fact, I found a few cars around the region. This was, however, the only place that seemed to have a 4-wheel-drive vehicle. At first, they weren't sure they could hold it for me, but they took my number and said they'd call me back. Then they did! They actually called me, and told me they'd hold this vehicle, and then actually held the vehicle. Rewind about a half-hour, and I had been standing outside another Enterprise which did NOT have any vehicles even though they'd let me reserve one that day. Rewind another half hour, and I'd been at a Budget location that claimed the city was car-less, as far as rentals go. Can you imagine? LA without a single rent-able car? Ridiculous! Lies! One man didn't lie to me throughout this process. His name was Nolan Henley, and he's the guy at this location who helped me out. Fast forward another half hour or so from my call, and I showed up and Nolan showed me the vehicle and how it worked. He took the info, set the whole thing up, and off we went--driving to the Grand Canyon where it was snowing and we really needed the 4-wheel drive. The vehicle got garbage gas mileage, but given the situation it was clearly the best we were going to do and I'm very grateful for the help. My only one note, and it's kind of funny. When we were about to leave, Nolan revealed that a reason he went out of his way for me was that I sound just like the guy on the recording when you call into Enterprise. So he thought maybe the corporate offices were conducting a test. Well, whatever. If this is some kind of deep-voiced, white male privilege, I'll take it. Only one person in LA actually helped me in the 10 phone calls I made, and it was Nolan at this location. read more

I was entirely amazed by Andrea; when I first came in on day one, she welcomed me and helped me finish signing up for the rental. She even took the time to see why I came to enterprise in the first place. My car was in an accident and was in the repair shop. She noticed I owned a hybrid and offered to show me a hybrid and all other vehicles my insurance would partially cover. When your insurance is paying for it, I thought you didn't get to pick which car you got. But she broke down the cost I would be responsible for if I chose the hybrid. The "paperwork" was quick, easy, and painless. At one point during the rental, she even called to check up on me and asked if I needed anything and kept me up to date on when insurance would stop payments so that I could plan on when to return the vehicle. She welcomed me back when I returned the car, even by name. I have never had someone who didn't know me remember my name before; it truly made me happy to have chosen to rent.
