The first two times I've been, I've ordered the burrito bowl- the first time, I got the shrimp, and the second time, I got the ground beet bowl, which uses marinated soy protein instead of beef. Tonight, I ended up going a different route and ordering the Baja fish burrito, which was a decision I was happy I made! Even though it came out hot, and even with the wet ingredients in the burrito, the fish remained crispy. The mango salsa wasn't overpowering, and complimented the whole thing really nicely. It's also one of the slightly cheaper sit-down restaurant options in the area, which, for the quality of the food, is an amazing deal. Everything is also always so flavorful. I ended up trying the sangria tonight as well, which had great flavor and wasn't too strong. It's garnished with an orange slice on top, which is a slightly different presentation, but the taste was good, and it was nice to have a little sweet treat at the end! Every time I've been here, the service has been quick with no issues. I'm also impressed by how friendly the staff is- everyone from the host, to the waiters, to the people who clean up do a great job at making everyone feel welcome. It's also not a very loud restaurant, which I'm a fan of. Just a tip, though, like many other NYC restaurants, it gets crowded at peak times, but if you go at a slightly off hour, it'll be easier to get a table. They also accept reservations, which is always useful! I plan on coming back many more times to try more things.

Brunch cocktails are 2x1, they have a beer and a shot for $11. What more can you ask for! They even played the Premier League game on their TVs for me and my friend to watch! Thank you Calexico for the nice vibe on a Saturday morning.

The atmosphere was great and not too loud for a conversation. Staff service was really accommodating and quite friendly. The menu for the night was very interesting, lots of interesting flavors I was lucky enough to have tried. Each dish I had seem to be paired with a choice of set drink. I was just full enough when I finished desert, which is quite pleasant. The staff really know their stuff so dont be afraid to ask them questions about the menu, because I definitely didnt know some of the different ingredients on the menu. By the end of the night I was just full from the drinks and the food. The set menu for the night seem to be different each time, so every time is a new experience. I would definitely go to another event if I get the chance!

Imagine the citrus notes of orange, tomatoes in the farmers markets. Think of the markets themselves, the smell of the wet wooden crates, the blends of aromas from different ingredients, mingled with fragrances and whiffs coming from all around you spark paint a picture of the market itself in your mind. And then comes the Chef, each chef has his own essence, a unique sense to approach ingredients, treat them, mix them plate them. At 'project Sāra' we believe that being a Chef is a process, it is not an event. One cannot be a Chef by reading thousands of books, writing hundreds of exams. It has to be in the blood from the start. And we at project Sāra seeks to focus on this essence of being a Chef. Using anti-restaurants as a platform, we tie up with any willing aspiring chef, food blogger, culinary students and allow them to express their creativity through our supervision, guidance, location, team and resources. The result is a pop- up restaurant with a unique menu, innovative setting and an unforgettable dining experience. We call upon all those who speak the language of ingredients to come and share this experience.

We were reuniting with a friend we hadn't seen in nearly a decade and we couldn't have picked a better spot to catch up. Two bottles of white later we nearly finished the butter service and enjoyed some escargot and their steak frites. We threw in a chopped salad and finished it off with their caramel dessert that somewhat resembled a tiramisu. Upon lifting the cylinder sleeve the delicious and light caramel sauce pours over the cake with crunch chocolate nibs sprinkled on top. Looking forward to trying their dinner menu when we visit again.

The service here is always top-tier, which is exactly why we always request our favorite waiter Mike, whenever we dine here. Once again, he went above and beyond, making the night extra special by surprising me with two birthday desserts! The manager Carlos, was also incredibly attentive and took great care of us throughout the evening, ensuring everything was flawless. As for the food, it was spectacular. We started with the meatballs a must try, and for the main event, We had the Bone-in Dry-Aged Prime Sirloin topped with truffle butter incredibly flavorful and cooked to absolute perfection. Pair it with the corn crème brûlée sweet and savory side dish. Incredible food, unmatched hospitality, and the perfect place to celebrate. Thank you, Mike and Carlos!
