It's a short walk a few blocks over from the subway station. The place is HUGE! We didn't cover everything, but I know I already want to return and see more. Yesterday, we visited Japan Village and House of GOAL NY mainly, and we had lunch at the Food Hall and visited the two-story Petco store there. We cut through Innovation Alley to get to different buildings throughout the day, so we got to see a variety of shops, eateries, and courtyards in the Industry City compound (yeah, that was intentional, I said compound). It's a vibrant place with how the indoor and outdoor areas are laid out, designed, and decorated. By design, it's a space to bring people together and gather, etc. I also noticed how accessibility friendly it was with ramps, clear signage for elevators, etc. I really liked Industry City a lot and will come back for sure :)

I would never suggest dealing with this guy, ever, unless you want to get screwed over.

Many assume this is a public project, largely due to proximity to many of the such and its vast size and the bloc construction style, but this is a privately run complex of 46 apartment towers. This complex is very complex (pun intended) with tons of amenities, almost exceeding easy memory or count, but the ones that stand out are superb stores nearby (Boston Market, Associated Markets in the middle of a mall in the middle of the large complex, fast food on the outskirts, the relatively new and suburban Gateway Center 1mi away, walkable even for some towers), tons of sporting and outdoor paths, community centers galore (more than 1, naturally), and a very spacious layout. I don't know its performance during Super Storm Sandy but it's very near the waters and the Belt Parkway so its placid convenience might also belie a downside. Buildings are very clean and visibly well maintained. Parking decks are well lit and peace officers are regularly stationed and actively patrolling, at least when I make my pickup. The residents are heavily elderly and lots of car services ply this area along with B82 and other major bus lines. Overall, looks like a nice place to live, so a 3-star middle-of-the-road rating.

People with disabilities are forced to park on the rooftop of garages which is the 5th level. Mostly all the parking spaces in the D-section first and second level are used by the management staff and maintenance workers. Park at your own risk. They're are time when tenants find someone else illegally in their parking space that they pay rent for and the only thing security offer is a one day pass to park in the mall where your car can be broken into .

Cosmo, the owner, is really friendly and professional; he knows members by name, and it's clear that he has carefully arranged the space to provide a variety of desk options (some face windows, some are in cubicles, others face walls) that will satisfy all manner of focus preferences. The space is secure, with a door that requires an app for entry and automatically locks behind you. I really appreciate the free printing, and free coffee :)

I lived in building 2 at Bay Ridge Air Rights from 1978 to a few years ago. I just read a review…read morethat was negative and untrue. The buildings are kept very nice and the staff is good. Any large building is going to have its problems for example bugs. If you are clean and have repellent in your apartment you will fine. People have waited years to get in those apartment. The person, Andreaa, who wrote the bad review must think they bought into a very high class building on Park Avenue and got low income housing. These buildings are nothing like a Park Avenue or low income apartments. They are exactly what they were built to be, middle income housing. If all of the owners (everyone who lives there owns a piece of the building) of do their share to keep the property in good condition they will stay in good condition.

The view from the higher apartments are great and if you live in a 3 bedroom, you get a view of Manhattan, Staten Island, AND New Jersey. The view is gorgeous, every year I get a clear view of Macy's 4th of July fireworks from my balcony. I also can see Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty. The staff around here is pretty friendly and keep the place clean, wish I could say the same about some of the residents. The management office on the other hand sucks, they're the worst to deal with. To get into these buildings, you must put your name on the waiting list. There's a minimum 5 year wait before anything is offered. Quite the annoying hassle, if you ask me.

UPDATE (9/2023): Things have continued to go downhill. Exclusively due to mismanagement. They used…read morethe pandemic as an excuse to cut down services and now continue on the same decline. The front desk has been unstaffed for the better part of the summer with actually no one sitting there at all for the past couple of weeks. The temperatures in the hallways are uncomfortably high and this is no doubt another dumb cost-saving strategy. Emails to the building manager go unanswered and communication from management is non-existent except for them to scold people and remind them about their "rules". Truly sad how little management cares about the residents and the staff. Really consider looking elsewhere.

Across the street from Prospect Park, so I can walk the dog by the lake every day, close to the subway, and also the cultural hub that is Flatbush. Good sized apartment, with tons of natural light. Pretty quiet, and safe. Easy enough to park safely on the street in front, or out back also, unlike other neighbourhoods close-by. Not sure why people are slating this place, I figure they must be the type to complain about every little thing, and aren't New Yorkers? Every time I've had a maintenance issue, I've had the guys in within 24 hours. The staff are great, the app for the front door, and for rent payments, are reliable and easy to use. Angel, and Mira, at the front desk are on top of their game. The porters are always emptying the trash rooms of recyclables, and cleaning hallways and elevators every day. The roof deck is a little oasis with wonderful views. Sure, there's no swimming pool, and the gym isn't exactly Equinox, but it's decent enough nonetheless. The rents are stabilised so all those that are moaning about increases probably got in super cheap during COVID and are balking at 'normal NYC rents' - we get it. I'll be renting here until I buy a place to call home.
