I had the best experience today with the entire staff at Nelson Oral Surgery. I needed two impacted wisdom teeth pulled and I was honestly dreading this appointment since I'm too afraid(and controlling) to use anything other than Novocain. The procedure itself took maybe 15 minutes because my lower tooth had a root pressed against my nerve and Dr. Nelson was beyond careful and patient. My upper tooth was out in less than 3 minutes and I had no idea he was done. The woman(I forgot her name:( but she was amazing!) assisting him even held my hand and was so sweet the entire time. I was very grateful since I was shaking like a leaf at first. They chatted the whole time and made me very comfortable even though I couldn't join in hahah. Morgan gave me a pint of Ben & Jerry's ice cream afterwards and I honestly thought that was the most thoughtful and adorable adult prize ever:) Dr. Nelson personally called to check on me tonight which I've never experienced regardless of the medical situation. I'm not surprised they have 5 stars but I'm shocked they don't have more reviews because this place is amazing! I'm bringing my daughters in soon. I recently about two weeks ago got all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed. Obviously I was quit scared especially with all the videos you see on social media. But the process was amazing here in entrust oral surgery. The whole staff was extremely sweet and made me feel extremely comfortable throughout the whole process. A big shoutout to Dr. Nelson for preforming the surgery and answering all our questions and another shoutout to Sandy for being so kind and sweet when asking her about the process! We just had an amazing experience with Dr Nelson and his staff. From the second we walked in they made us feel welcome and my daughter as relaxed as possible for having her wisdom teeth out. They walked us through everything with care and professionalism. I went to a different doctor with my older son a few years ago, I wish I had known of Dr Nelson, where my son went I felt like we were cattle being herded. I have been meaning to leave a review for this place. I am a big cry baby when it comes to anything dental and needles. I called the day before my appointment because I was so scared. The person who took my call I believe it was Ashley? Answered all my questions and made me feel better about the surgery of taking my wisdom teeth out. I come into the office and all the girls greeted me and were so friendly! I was so sick to my stomach because I was so nervous and they were so nice. I went back and they allowed my boyfriend to come back with me before the dentist came in. Ashley the girl who took my call the day before came back to introduce herself and to let me know everything was going to be okay. After surgery they were very thorough with post op and gave me ice cream!! Overall this place is very clean and staff is amazing! Dr. Nelson and his team are the BEST! I came to Dr. Nelson with a mouth of horrors. I now have a mouth I only dreamed of. I ended up getting a full top arch, all on 4, implants, and bridge on my bottom. Dr. Nelson guided me with my decisions without making me feel pressured at all. I never felt like he was steering me wrong or trying to make a buck. I completely trusted his judgement and the outcome is absolutely perfect. I couldn't be more grateful and satisfied. He is an excellent surgeon. The placement of my top arch is awesome. There is a lot that goes into all the decisions. I see all the little things that he took extra care to make perfect. My fiancé and I just moved here from Sacramento and she needed to get her wisdom teeth out. After a terrible experience at a different dentist, we came across Dr. Nelson and let me tell you, every 5 star review on this page is absolutely correct. My fiancé was basically traumatized by the place she went to first and was afraid to try again but after meeting Dr. Nelson and his wonderful staff she felt comfortable enough to proceed with the extraction. Dr. Nelson let me stay in the room, per my fiancés request, until she was asleep and 20 minutes later she was done. All 4 wisdom teeth removed. One of his staff Gabby was also so nice and wheeled my fiancé to the car, stopping by a freezer on the way out where you can pick out a pint of ice cream! Dr. Nelson and his team are amazing. I had to get all 4 wisdom teeth taken out, but my appointment wasn't scheduled for 3 weeks out. My bottom left wisdom tooth was causing me a lot of pain when I went in for my consultation, and Dr. Nelson was kind enough to fit me into his schedule the VERY NEXT DAY to get the one problematic tooth removed. I must mention that this is first surgery I've ever had so I was VERY nervous. He made me feel so comfortable and gave me a lot of good information that I needed to know about my teeth and the post of care I needed to do. He also reached out to me on the phone a couple days later to see how I was doing/healing. Dr Nelson was the best doctor experience I have ever seen from a customer service level. He was asked to clean up a failed wisdom teeth removal that got infected from another dentist. He was so kind with my daughter. He did a great job explaining before the surgery, putting us at ease while explaining risks. Best experience in dental care I have ever received in my 32 years of life! I walk in and the ladies at the front greeted me with a smile. Check in went smooth no one was rude or impatient which is something I have received from other offices. Very kind and helpful and efficient. I was taking very quickly to the back for X-rays and the lady who I forgot her name that helped me was super pleasant and nice. I was then taken to my room where I only waited a short period before the oral surgeon came in and he was literally a ray of sunshine. He wasted no time asking me if I was in pain and if I wanted to address the situation today in which I said yes. He was all for it super kind throughout the whole procedure which he got done within 10 mins max. He was very lovely and gentle and such a people person like I really mattered to him. It was nice you don't typically feel this way coming in for dental procedures. I had to not only write a review on google but here as well. I was in and out in 30 mins more or less which is great all around. BEST EXPERIENCE EVER! I was in search for an Oral Surgeon as soon as possible because of the pain I was in. Everywhere I called either didn't take medical and cost a lot for just a consultation and CT scan. I called Dr.Nelson office and Ashley was so kind and understanding and set me up that same day which I was so happy about. I want to highly recommend doctor Tyler Nelson, from Nelson Oral Surgery. I had let some much needed dental work go on for way too long because of fear and of the Covid situation. When I couldn't wait any more, I selected doctor Nelson based on my research and dental insurance coverage. When I called his office in pain, the office staff was so friendly and calmed my nerves. They got me in the same day for a consultation and then scheduled my surgery for the next morning. Doctor Nichols is so friendly and I felt he really took the time to answer all my questions and alleviate my concerns. The surgery went off without any problems and absolutely no pain. I choose sedation, at his suggestion and next thing I knew it was over and my problem was all fixed. Absolutely no regrets in going to Nelson Surgery. Our DD15 needed to have her wisdom teeth removed, and after a bit of calling around we landed at Dr. Nelson's office. Scheduling was simple and pleasant. I absolutely loved receiving paperwork via a text and be able to fill it all out online. It took mere minutes. All admin should be this simple. Day of everyone was kind, supportive and efficient. Clean and welcoming offices and lots of parking. We had checked to make sure the office accepted our insurance and our out of pocket cost was comparable to other quotes and in the end even more reasonable. DD had all four teeth out at the same time and due to the lower teeth being impacted she needed the full 7-10 days to recover. The evening of surgery Dr. Nelson called us to make sure DD was doing alright. Unexpected, but really welcome. About day 8 we were concerned about ongoing discomfort and called the office - they squeezed us in that day for a quick look and Dr. Nelson personally reassured us that everything was progressing - coupled with re-instruction on keeping things as clean as possible. This significantly reduced stress, and like clock work, on Day 10, DD was feeling and presenting much better. We would not hesitate to recommend this office. With two more kids I suspect we will be visiting again. It is great to have this experience under our belt and have complete confidence in knowing a local oral surgeon. read more

I highly recommend Dr. Nelson Tyler. A little late of my review to be written but never too late. I really appreciated the fact during my consultation that I had options once my extraction was done and the next steps after. The office staff was also great. I have to admit that Yes I was that patient asking those questions to the receptionist and needing a clearer understanding about everything from my dental insurance coverage, to my copays, and how soon could I get in for my appointment. (Sorry for being that annoying patient) . Dr. Tyler was very thorough with the what "if's" and so forth. My extraction appointment on September 27, 2021 was a great experience. Dr. Tyler and staff made sure everything went smoothly as I was very nervous/scared about my tooth extraction. I had chosen the sleep sedation and it was also a great experience. One of the best sleep I've ever had. I went home after 2 hours and rested throughout the day. I loved the fact that Dr. Tyler called me later that evening to check if I was doing good.
