I walked into this place of business after having both positive and negative experiences in the past at different places. I did not have an appointment because I wanted to speak to the people there to get a feel of what I would be experiencing. I spoke to a very knowledgeable girl who seemed to give me every answer I was looking for. She asked me if I'd like to do them at that time (a good salesperson gets you while you're hot) and I agreed feeling good. I showed her what I wanted and laid down on the comfortable bed. She showed me lashes (I told her it looked good but I don't know a lot about that). I laid down and after almost 3 hours, I got up and looked. They were so long they were touching my eyebrows. I told her I thought they were long but I would go home and put makeup on and see how they looked. I walked in the door and both my daughters, who are in their 20s, asked me who did my eyelashes. I tried putting on some makeup but they still looked ridiculous. The next day, I went back in and spoke to the girl at the desk. I asked her if they could trim the lashes and she told me they couldn't do that. I then asking if they could fix them and she told me the only way was to redo entire set and put on a new one which would be charged at the regular price. I was floored and was not going to agree to that considering the day before I spent $250 plus a $50 tip. I am of the opinion you get what you pay for and have no problem paying more for good quality but to throw out $250 when it was a day later was ridiculous. I went home and after thinking about how to proceed, I decided the best way was to make an appointment with the owner. The only problem was the owner is only there on Saturdays. I had already missed that Saturday since they were done in a Thursday. I had plans to be away the following weekend so I booked an appointment with the owner for the next Saturday (3 weeks later). I also went online and ordered some of their products to keep the lashes looking as fresh as possible. I arrived at my appointment with many missing lashes (since they also didn't stay on - even with the products I purchased) and when the owner saw my lashes, she immediately asked me who did them. I didn't want to get her in trouble but I also didn't want her to continue doing lashes this way considering it wasn't cheap. I told her and she immediately called her over. She had her watch her 'fix' my lashes while she complained that I somehow booked a refill appointment with her when she doesn't take 'other worker's clients as fills'. That means to me that she doesn't trust her employees to do a good enough job in order to do a fill for them. She also realized that my eyes were tearing so much because I'm allergic to the glue in the tape (which she said must have caused them to fall out quicker). She asked the girl why she chose to put on lashes that were that long since they were too long for me and the girl tried telling her I picked them out. I explained that she showed them to me and I'm obviously not in the beauty field so how would I know which length to use) but was mortified that this was going on while I'm laying down getting this done. Finally, she finished and they looked beyond amazing, I went to check out and she told me she had to charge me an extra $50 because it was more than 1 day more than 3 weeks. I tried to explain that since she was only there on Saturdays it didn't leave me with much of a choice but she insisted that it had to be that amount. I left there so angry, feeling bullied by this behavior but also stuck at that point. It is very unfortunate because the owner does an amazing job. Nevertheless, the way I was treated and the fact that she's only there on Saturdays sealed the deal for me. Lashes were good. Paid BEFORE services online. This place isn't flexible in terms of scheduling. So definitely not recommended for moms/individuals whose schedule may change due to factors beyond their control. Tried to reschedule, was not an option without $50 cancellation fee charge, which was charged immediately today. Also strict on 3 weeks in between which they'll call you on and also charge you for. So no flexibility. Going back to my old place which was understanding and outstanding with lashes and customer service. My daughter also left this place due to lack of professionalism. Second time for me there but now they have a beautiful storefront with ample parking. The salon itself is gorgeous and emits a soothing feel when you walk in. It is modern with clean lines and cool colors. The chairs are large and super comfy which make it very easy to catch a power nap while getting beautified. Jasmine and I discussed what type of look I was going for and even showed me a picture she had of lashes just to make sure we were on the same page. An hour and a half later and voila! Perfection! She took what I had before and created a set of lashes that not only were beautiful but actually complimented my features and enhanced the shape of my eyes! Art for the eyes really. Jenny was very creative a true artist! I have lashes that aim in word and she gave me a beautiful set of extensions fanning outward. She found a way to feather the color for the eyebrow elimination so that the color would look too dark. She's great I will continue coming back. The manager is a doll. read more

I would like to preface that I have been getting eyelash extensions FOR YEARS and have never once had a problem. I've been to more that 5 different places and never once have I had a reaction. I spent $300 to get nice extensions I figured if I was paying more they would be better quality. I was very very wrong. I had not one but two reactions. I originally had a reaction in my left eye. It was red and swollen and itchy. When I contacted the salon they offered first for free removal (which I should have opted for) then to redo the eye claiming I had "glue burn". I went and got it fixed free of charge and was very happy with my results. Two days later my right eye became extremely itchy and began to swell. Over the course of the night, my eye became swollen shut and extremely painful. I'm definitely sure that what I have is not "glue burn". One day later my eye is still swollen and painful and I will be visiting the doctor. For a salon that claims to be the best (and definitely charges like they are) I expected so much better. I am extremely disappointed and in a lot of pain. Save your money and more importantly save your eyes. read more

I researched a bunch of places before choosing envious lashes. I chose them because of there views and I felt confident they would do a good job. I've seen quite a few bad lash jobs before, so the review of this place made me feel much better. I saw Karen and she did an AMAZING job. I went for the "natural" look as it was my first time getting lash extensions I didn't want anything to crazy. By the next day after looking at them and getting used to them I realized I wanted a bit more, they got me right in first thing in the morning and they added some more to appear darker which is what I wanted and I am in LOVE. There so kind and accommodating. Everything is clean. Yes, this place maybe a little more expensive then some other places but let me tell you, you get what you pay for! Good things are never cheap and cheap things are never good! I 100% recommend this place and I am so mad I haven't started doing them sooner! read more

Envious lashes has straight up changed the lash extension game. In search of the perfect lash extension studio, I have been to tons of lash studios in Miami and New York , just trying out different people but never really finding one that was worth the money and never found a studio that did my lashes the way I wanted them. I go to Jessica at envious lashes and I absolutely love/am obsessed with the way she does my lashes(exactly the way i want them). She is so talented am I am sooooo grateful I found her, I wouldn't even dream of ever looking for another lash studio bc she is that good! Not to mention she is one of the sweetest, kindest girls i have ever met and i look forward chatting with her every time i make an appointment! I have also had my lashes done by sandy and love the way she does lashes too, and is also so kind and so much fun to chat with. I have been coming here for two years now and I'm so addicted to the way I feel after my lashes are filled in. Even after I have gone as long as three weeks between fill ins, my lashes still look bomb. Compared to other studios: they apply lashes quicker here, each fill in is around 45min-1 hour; at other studios I have gotten an eye reactions even with sensitive glue and it was a gamble with each new studio, but at envious lashes that never has never happened and the products applied on my eye are so sensitive and don't react w my skin/eye/eyelash which helps the extension stay on longer. I also think their price list is very fair for the quality of their service. There is literally nothing bad I can say about this place, the service they provide is amazing and I leave feeling more confident and beautiful than I did walking in. Karen is the absolute best lash technician at envious lashes hands down! She always manages to work miracles on my lashes in the 60min time allotted for fills. She is especially careful during covid at following sanitation procedures and making me feel like I'm in a clean environment. I would absolutely recommend her. read more

Today I got my lashes done by Carolina. I was a little nervous because I got a voicemail a few hours before that I wouldn't be seeing the lash artist that I originally booked with (Karen). I chose Karen because I had read a number of reviews that gave her glowing recommendations. After a got the message I immediately looked to see if there were any reviews on Carolina and her name wasn't mentioned. Not even once. So I was super nervous going into the appointment figuring I got the "new girl" and that I would be running to another lash studio to have them fix it as soon as I left there. Even during my appointment, the receptionist mentioned that she should take pictures, "at least for your first week." And now it was confirmed. I got the new girl. However, after she was done, my lashes came out AMAZING. I went in with very specific instructions (and pictures) and Carolina nailed it. I have the same horror story as many others, went to cheap lash place, loose real lashes, look like baby cat . I went to another lash place for silk eyelash extensions and felt blah about it but didn't want to walk around bald-lashed. This was my second time have extensions put on and after my first time, I am surprised I did it again... but they looked sooooo good. No pain, no gain, right ladies? I decided to brave it again because I had two weeks of work and personal events to go to. I found Eyelash envy on yelp and decided on them due to their high rating. I could not have been more pleased. Jessica was so professional, friendly and quick! She did my full set in an hour, half the time of the "other" place I went to, and with out the irritation I was expecting after my last set. (How did I sit through that for 2 hours last time!!) They look natural and glamorous at the same time! She listened carefully to what I wanted and delivered 100%. I do believe I am a convert and will keep them for everyday instead of simply for special occasions. Just visited the Long Island boutique and I'm so happy I did!!! It was super convenient with an enormous parking lot!!! I had no worries about finding a ticket on my car when my session was over!!! (Which is my usual worry about finding places in the city) Two locations for me is key!!! Especially since I travel a lot and I'm all over the place!! My stylist for the afternoon was Jessica!! She was so nice and informative and didn't try to sell me a bunch of things that I didn't need as previous places have! She was very honest!! Went in for my first ever set of lashes. Researched all the lash places on Long Island and finally chose this one. They get you in quick, no long wait time. Karen was so welcoming and she explained everything so well and helped me figure out what kind of lashes and how many I should get. She did an amazing job. Let me start by saying that I have had HORRIBLE experiences (yes, plural) with eyelash extensions. I was reluctant to do them again, but I decided to drive VERY far to have my eyelashes done at this place by Jessica. I am SO glad that I did. The place is adorable - not an eyelash sweat shop. Only two beds and each appointment is booked and given enough time for perfection to be achieved. Jessica is awesome. Excellent at what she does...professional yet relatable. Fun to talk to, gives you her honest opinion and not to mention works quickly but diligently. I am already back and it's only a week later. No bad reaction (like usual) and no lashes falling off quickly (like usual). Only reason I am back is because being that I was on vacation, I was a bit rough on my eyes...and because I want more!!! I made an appointment online for Saturday February 10th for 1pm and I got in my car and my battery was dead along with my alternator. I called Envious Lashes to tell them that my car broke down and I couldn't make it. Well, Veronica threatened to charge my card on file ( because you have to put a credit card in to reserve the appointment) for $75 because I couldn't make the appointment! Is that how you treat new customers? It's ILLEGAL for them to do that just so you are aware. I guess they're pretty desperate for clients sadly. So I ended up going just to see what it was like. I took an Uber but once you're threatened by someone it's already kind of going downhill. I loved Jasmine - she was very kind and sweet. I think she did a great job on my lashes as well. The Envious Lashes in Islandia is very small though with 3 tables side by side and you have to use the shared restroom of the building. I mean if the person doing your eyes has to wash her hands- she has to go down to the community restroom. I would like to have Jasmine do my eyes again but would rather not go back to a place that threatens customers when real things genuinely happen to them. That's just life! Being nasty or rude doesn't help anyone. read more

Envious Lashes is AMAZING! I have had lashes before but I stopped for a while Bc I had back surgery and couldn't continue to get refills. And, when I stopped I lost my real lashes. They were all gone. It was Bc of the adhesive and possibly putting a heavy lash on my light lashes, at that time. A technician should be able to advise what is too heavy or too light. Bc of this I was nervous to have extensions again fearing losing my lashes. So, I researched for weeks and compared other companies and kept coming back to Envious Lashes. My decision was finalized after I called and spoke to Clemintine. She was the nicest andost helpful person. She took her time to explain all their options and my questions. All of their products, including their work techniques as well as the owner, Clemintine, own brand of lashes is so classy, clean, and remarkable. They have their own brand in everything. Much different than any other lashe extensions I have ever used. Most of all, they value your real natural lashes the most. They said their adhesive, lashes and the after care will not ruin my real lashes. Their #1 goal is to protect your real lashes. They care about not damaging them and strengthening them and about the maintenance of keeping them healthy. Jessica did my "Glam" full set mink lashes. She covered my entire eye. It took about 1 1/2 hour. She was quick. Her end result was amazing! They look so natural. I didn't go with synthetic/silk Bc i wanted more of a natural, yet popping-out bold look. I told Jessica exactly what I wanted and she delivered exactly as described and was better then unexpected. Her expertise was proven. She educated me on how to care for them and how to extend the life of them. Her concern was my real lashes. When I came in, which was a same day appointment made online, she made recommendations and evaluated what my lashes could handle. Each person is unique and her recommendations change depending on the person. Where as a salon would be same for everyone, even though each person has a unique lash. I would recommend Jessica or Clemintine. I haven't met Sandy but I have heard she is great as well. All of the technicians are fabulous. However, Jessica knew what I needed and delivered much more. I was extremely impressed by her work, her OCD-ness, the brand and material of the lashes, of their beautiful office, and of their whole lash extension process. Great job A+++++ Fabulous work Jessica!!!!!!! I will be back every 2-3. I already referred someone who make an appt today. I had mine done 3 days ago. I have seen other bad reviews regarding their business practices and the way they treat customers. I really wanted to like this place. (most trips were good, though one in the middle had the lashes uneven and falling out within a week). However, I now understand why the bad feelings. This place is truly more interested in nickel and diming customers than they are in making good relationships. I had mentioned a questionable review I had seen once and the girls not only went on to talk about that girl they started telling stories about other clients that came in also. Not professional. Without a ten mile long story, I will say that i was not only disgusted with managements behavior, everyone in the room with me that heard the conversation was shocked too. Her reasoning actually backed up and confirmed what I had said. When I pointed that out, she literally said, "whatever, we are still adding an upcharge".
