I immediately started calling around at 7pm and his company was the only one willing to come immediately. Less then an hour later he showed up and legit saved the day!! I guess the cess pool pipping wasnt done correctly which and there was some question as to the actual size of the cess pool I had, and some serious cloggage from toilet paper. Guy walked around and showed me everything be was talking about, because I understood nothing!! And spent the next two hours unclogging our cess pool and pumping it out. It was so hot and dark but he stayed until the job was done. He will be back to fix the other things that are wrong and I trust what he says and will do. If you need any help...this is your guy!!!! We had been satisfied with the response time and service before and assumed we would get the same again. They came promptly and attempted to clear the line, but after a half hour told me the line was clogged with roots and could not be opened and presented me a bill for the failed clean out, took my check and left. We waited for almost a week for them to give us a $2500 quote to replace the lateral. Before spending that kind of money we opted for a second quote. When I explained the situation to the new company, Their first suggestion was to let them try to clear the drain. Within five minutes snaking the line, the clog was cleared! I gladly paid them to finish Dave's job and threw away Dave's quote. The next day, I decided to call Dave Lange to tell them what happened and to ask what their refund policy was in this situation. The woman who answered the phone, took my message and promised to call back. Several days later with no return phone call I called again. This time, a man, who I assumed was an owner, answered the phone. He seemed a bit evasive about any kind of reparation, but promised me he would discuss it with someone and call me back. Another week later I called again and left a message with no return phone call. Another week later I called back and gave them one last opportunity to call me back. That was a week ago and still no callback! I am not upset that they couldn't do the job right the first time. I'm upset that they had no customer service follow up. Not even a courtesy call. Nothing! Technicians David and John arrived at the appointed time, gathered some info from us to get an idea of what they'd find, and went right to work removing the easily accessible tank cover and setting up the the suction hose. They did a great job pumping out the 1500 gallon septic tank down to the bottom and determined that the tank and leaching pond were in good shape even after 14 years. David and John were friendly, efficient and skilled,and answered all my questions along the way including advice to service the system about every five years to avoid problems.
