WOW! What can I say that will measure up to the high quality of Environmental ProTech's filtration system and their exceptional customer service! I have had a reverse osmosis system installed by Environmental ProTech for nearly 18 years. In that time, THEY CALL ME (Lord knows I would forget!) every 6 months to set up a time to come out and change out my filters. Their techs are super clean-cut, articulate, professional, and ON-TIME! On the rare occassions they were going to be late, (Houston traffic of course!) I received a call from either their dispatcher or from the tech. They do a great job of selecting and training their field techs, that's for sure! Recently, I changed out my kitchen faucet and needed to disconnect the filtration system from the water lines. The new faucet needed a different connector so I called the Environmental Protech office to find out what type of connecter I needed to buy from Home Depot or Lowes. They INSISTED, "Don't worry about doing that, we have a tech that will be in the area on Monday and he will stop by and take care of it!" Guess what, THEY DID! (I can't promise they will do that for everybody, but it's obvious they are loyal to their long-time customers!) IN CLOSING . . . . No, I am not related to the Environmental Protech owners nor do I work for them! LOL!!! But I will say, Robert & Mindy run a great company, with great products and great service! (On top of that they are genuinely super sweet folks!) If you need a water filtration system for your home or office, DO NOT LOOK ANY FURTHER! I added an alkaline to my reverse osmosis and now have the good minerals back in my water. Houston has terrible chemicals in the city water, it gives me the peace of mind to have good filtration equipment at my home and for my family! read more

Stellar customer service. I had such a great experience. The technician was very knowledgeable and helpful. I've lived in the area 12 years and they came highly recommended from my neighbor. They had a system installed from them and have been very happy. They will answer your questions. The ladies in the office are so nice. They were so helpful. They gave me a 30 minute courtesy call to let me know when the technician was on their way for my appointment. I will always recommend them. read more

Had a few companies out for a quote.. but this company is horrible. Very, very unprofessional .They spent more time bashing another company. Saying how they are stealing their customers.. underbidding to get the job. Doing promotional stuff the same as them. Like they are jealous, and proud of it. It was really hard to listen to. I had to ask them to stop and leave. There is plenty of work out there.. no reason for this. I went with the company they bashed. So glad I did. I also let that company know what they are doing. We have used Environmental Protech for 13 yrs to service our current water softener and reverse osmosis systems. The service charge has always been $99 plus whatever parts they need to replace. They have always completed a service in conjunction with the $99 charge. We were unaware the $99 is an expected charge whether or not they do any work. So, it is a great company if you like paying a $99 for them to come to your house and put the system on bypass. It was a 3 min visit. And the service guy had the audacity to tell them no one was at home. I took photos of the system and their guy is in the photos. You'd think 13 years of our business would mean something... Not. We have been hounded daily for the payment while we try to decide what water softener system to replace our current one. My husband got so annoyed, he paid the $99 and told them to delete his phone number. We will not reward them with buying a new system from them and having them install it. read more

I wish all service companies ran their business like Environmental Protech. I wanted to install a whole house filtration system on my (new to me) townhome. A friend recommended them, so I called. They were responsive, patient while educating me on my options, fair in their pricing, and quick and tidy during the installation. The whole process was seamless. I have been so spoiled by the water this system puts out, that while away at college, I was homesick for my water. I would call home and complain about my shower water leaving my hair chalky, and my dishes never seeming to be clean. Coming home, I was so excited for a big glass of water with the delicious ice to chew on. I guess that's what 10 years of having this system will do! Worst customer service I've ever experienced in my life! Unfortunately, I hired this company to install a water softener that I purchased from Home Depot. The reviews off of google are definitely not correct. The guys came and installed the system but it leaked and was unusable. It was a defective part from Home Depot and they could not get me a replacement for 3 days. I told the lady(Nancy) at Environmental Protech that I would not pay the install bill until the new part arrived(3 days) and they installed it. OMG! This lady went off on me saying I needed to pay the bill! I replied that in 3 days when the part arrived and I could test the system I would pay no problem. That's when she flipped out and went on a crazy rant for about 10 minutes!! She would just talk over me and not listen to a single word I said. I actually set the phone down, put it on speaker and listened in amazement! My family was around the phone just looking at each other while this nutjob lady was freaking out on the other end of the line bc I asked to pay the bill in 3 days when HER team installed the part and I could test the unit! After about 10 minutes of her bullshit and not being able to get a word in, I hung up the phone. Guess what? This crazy lady called me right back and started going off again!!!!!! All because I asked to wait to pay the bill when the job was completed! I put her on speaker again and another 10 minutes went by listening to her senseless babble until I hung the phone up again! After 3 days, the part came and I hired another company to install the part. I called this company up and paid my bill(3 days as promised) and will NEVER use this psycho again! I am so happy I went with the affordable whole house system. I didn't realize how nasty my water was until I saw how clean it could be! The chemical odor is gone and the water tastes great. I had a water softener installed 2 weeks ago by Environmental Protech and I got a fantastic product for a great price. My water feels great now and I bet my appliances feel better now too! Mindy, the owner, was so accommodating in getting us scheduled for installation, which took about 2 hours. I was impressed that the installers cleaned up after themselves so well, and then I received a follow-up visit to make sure our system was working properly and to see if we had any questions.
