The amount of individual attention and care my kids received helped them thrive so much! Miss Anne was always in constant communication with us throughout the day. Sending photos, letting us know how they were doing that day, etc. If it were up to us, Miss Anne and Miss Estela would be their teachers forever. We're truly so appreciative of how they took exceptional care of our babies.

It's been an absolute blessing for me to have Mrs. Anne and Mrs. Estella as my child's teachers. They are incredibly caring, patient, and deeply knowledgeable about early childhood education, sparking curiosity and a love for learning in the kids. My child is a super picky eater, but the staff is amazing at working with me to ensure mealtimes are positive and tailored to her needs. The communication here is fantastic--daily updates and as-needed feedback keep me in the loop, and during the first week, Mrs. Anne kept me posted daily on how my child doing every transition and activity that really put my mind at ease. Mrs. Anne surprised me with my child's moments with friends and while she is doing her work, playtime that sparked my days while I am at work. The daycare makes holidays like Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter so festive and fun, and they go above and beyond for birthdays and farewells, especially for kids transitioning to TK, kindergarten, or moving away--those moments feel so special! Summer water balloon days and the Halloween party are huge hits with the kids, creating such joyful memories. The classrooms are always clean and tidy, with toys disinfected daily, and even the storeroom for toys is impressively organized. Their supportive approach to potty training has also been a lifesaver, making the process smooth and stress-free. Tiny People Home Daycare is a warm, nurturing, and spotless environment that I wholeheartedly recommend. Five stars for their dedication and care! I feel like there is no daycare like Tiny People Home in OC. If you are looking for a daycare with high quality and affordable price. I highly recommend it. Thank you so much for taking care of my child Mrs. Anne and Mrs. Estella!

*review, updated with photos* This review is specific to…read moreMinaret Academy's Montessori Program. This is our first year with the school after coming from a different Montessori program (which we LOVED), and overall, we have had a positive experience at Minaret with recognition of some room for improvement. This will be a long review, but please do read through it if you are considering this program. Please remember transitioning to a new school is always difficult and takes at least a few months for children to fully settle in. The challenges they will face here are not unique to Minaret and will likely be faced anywhere (potential behavioral concerns, finding new friends, learning to find their voice in a classroom setting, etc). The beauty of Minaret's Montessori is that the current director is incredibly knowledgeable about child development and is always ready to work with parents regarding any of their concerns. Anyways, I'll break it down by pros/room for improvement as I've experienced them. I am happy to chat with anyone who may be considering this school and is looking for more information! Pros: The new director Ms. Mai is incredible and is clearly working so hard to improve this program. She is attentive to parents/students, sharp, kind, well spoken, and dedicated to the Montessori method. What I appreciate is she is always open to hearing our concerns. While she encourages parents to make their own observations of the program/teachers she is also candid about each classroom environment (example: different personality types, teaching method of the teacher, etc). We did face some growing pains at the beginning of the school year, coming from our previous school, however, we worked together with the teacher and Ms. Mai to address these issues. I do believe Ms. Mai has the students' interest at heart. The curriculum challenges students to learn academically, spiritually, and linguistically while giving them enough room to be themselves. The staff and PTO work hard to foster a sense of community for families attending by putting together events for the children and asking parents to be heavily involved. In terms of the physical learning space, the Montessori rooms are large and have all the engaging Montessori activities. Room for improvement: We really need a larger outdoor play area for our young children. Further, it would be nice to see some updates in the classrooms to help with cleanliness. Cleaner rugs/carpets or even removing carpet would be great, as would cleaning up the activity shelves from pen, marker, paint marks. I would love to also see us offer alternate childcare during winter break, spring break, etc for parents who are not as available to take so much time off. Additionally, I would love to see a monthly or quarterly open forum for parents to collectively meet with Ms. Mai as the director where she can share updates, hear parents concerns, etc. She does send out a monthly newsletter and this does a great job of updating parents. Overall, it is a good school. Your child will be well loved here, they will foster a sense of community, and they will definitely learn. Growing pains will require you as a parent to be engaged, discuss with teacher/director, and be open minded to change. Best of luck to you all in your decision making process!

Coach Asha helped me get together my interp events pretty last minute and I managed to qualify top 15 in California for nationals or NSDA (with a main event of dramatic interpretation). Also, throughout the season I got some specific technical feedback from Coach Shante which really helped me hone in my performance. While Coach Chris helped me get my DI up early in the season which led to me placing fourth at Peninsula. Additionally, Coach Janiel is mostly always at tournaments and gives a killer warm-up that really energizes me and my peers as well as give us a confidence boost admits the inevitable nerves. Furthermore, Coach Forrest and Coach Anna are really good with the younger students as they helped laid a solid foundation for my speech and debate skills going forward. I really started learning public speaking starting with them! And Coach Robert is great at platform events and is extremely detailed in his feedback. In addition, there are Coaches Kavya and Christine that I heard great things about from other peers but haven't worked with them too personally. With QD Learning I've been able to travel to Minneapolis for the National Individual Events Tournament of Champions and Arizona for the National Speech and Debate Association/ Competition as well as local tournaments around the area. In anyways I totally recommend them and have won a lot more tournaments than mentioned. However, the most special part about the QD Learning is the amazing process and journey that it takes you through as you make lifelong connections and work with amazing national champion coaches that take the time to understand your needs.
