Don't book with this man!!! We paid for our tattoos and he unfortunately did not show up to my appointment due to him not showing up to my appointment. I asked him for my money back. It took him five days to even reply after not showing up on top of that he did not give me a full refund due to him saying that $50 was towards a nonrefundable deposit, but due to his negligence, I wasn't refunded all my money back in full!!! Also, my sister booked with him early on in the month. He was late to her appointment on top of being late he decided he wanted to eat, knowing he was already late to her appointment. He decided to eat a seafood boil while she was waiting for hours when I showed up for my appointment I was greeted by his coworkers who notified me that he has not been all day and other customers were looking for him, and they were unable to get in contact with him, but he was also active on social media at the time posting his personal business. if I can read this place zero I would. read more

The day of my appt he did not show up nor did he answer or even think to message me. We rescheduled, and he confirmed my appt. This is my first review I've ever given. Please listen to the bad reviews. If you want a cheap tattoo. Then by all means go ahead. But be willing to deal with 59 cancellations. The most mediocre quality, no instructions on how to care for your tattoo, watch them drink beer and smoke right in your face as you get your tattoo and more bs. Also it's a 80% chance you get cancelled and he just keeps your deposit. It's pathetic and sad how they run their business. I genuinely hope the shop gets shut down, Im not a ill person but holy, it's a horrible experience. Aj is horrible, I set an appointment up and sent a deposit and had a set date. I showed up 30mins early and waited another hour and he was a no show then texted me hours later saying he will do it tomorrow. Tomorrow comes by and says he can't do it and to come the next day at a certain time and will do it. He texted me about 45 mins before the tattoo time and said he can't. Then the next day I finally went in and he tatted me he asked what I wanted I showed him the picture I told him I sent it in the chat. I was so fed up and wanted the tattoo done already I saw him lay an angel stencil on me and he does the tattoo I then realize it wasn't even the right piece I wanted done (I should've realized that but I was already upset and didn't think he would pull a random angel design out of his ass cus there was literally only one image sent to the chat.) just a very bad ran tattoo shop wouldn't recommend it at all read more

Giving bad reviews is not my thing bec nobody is perfect and honestly hardly have shady experiences. But I gotta make others aware of POOKS shady hustle. The work Pooks did was different from what we agreed on. Especially the clock! Pooks did show me the stencil before starting and I didn't think of looking deep at clock/details. And like he said "Don't worry I got you". It was on back of calf and kinda hard to look at. Took a picture of it towards the end and zoomed in and noticed it wasn't the clock we agreed on . He told me he couldn't add the same clock bec it was someone else's work and some other BS. YOU THINK he would've told me that and NOT agree with clock I wanted OBVIOUSLY when working on stencil. NEVER would go for clock he did. To top it off the freakin 12 o'clock hand is at 1 o'clock. He STRAIGHT OUT intentionally did something different hoping to get away with it (which he did) just to make money. He has no work ethic and does shady hustles with pride. I had him make some corrections because it looked worse than work done in Tijuana back in 1970 or something. Still looks terrible and knows it terrible bec he didn't post it. I payed $750 like we agreed with no complaints. He didn't intimidate me at all. POS work was already done and my mind is trained to act calm in every situation and won't own up. Plus I never bark for money. POOKS is the owner of the place but this doesn't mean other artist (AJ and Victor) that work there don't have respect and integrity for customers. read more

If you're looking for some badass ink and a chill atmosphere to get it in look no further. We've been looking for a shop for over a year. I'm hell of picky being that I've had my bad experiences. A tattoo is very personal and I believe you should feel comfortable with whoever is working on you. So the hubby found Resilience on IG we were impressed by the portraits(being that we wanna get some portraits done.) anyways, I had been itching to get some work for over a year so needless to say after looking through their pictures and doing a bit of research we decided to check them out. My first impression upon walking in was a good one. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and the place was clean. I showed Manny the picture of what I wanted and without any hesitation gave me his card to send him the pic and gave me a price which was very reasonable. Didn't take him long either. From start to finish maybe 2 hours. Manny and the other artists were very personable which is huge with me. I hate awkward silences, and/or blah people so that is a big plus. We all bullshitted about kids, cars and just anything that came up. These guys know how to make the customer feel welcomed. Needless to say we had a great experience and the work is great. We will definitely be back to get more ink for sure. I think it's safe to say Resilience Tattoo Collective has gained loyal customers so long as we have room for ink. Thanks again guys. read more

Here's my experience! At first I had came after I had done an appointment with Bigantz since he was referred to me by one of my friends. Everything went well and he did a very good job with his art work there's no doubt about that. Although he had rescheduled me about 2 times from the original appointment and even after I drove an hour before he canceled last minute to reschedule. Overall his art work is very good and has very decent prices but has very low customer service. Here's where it gets interesting! After the first appointment was 1/4 done he said he wouldn't be able to finish the tattoo and asked if I wanted to pay more so he can "try" to finish it although he said that he would but then said that I would be able to come next time without pay so he could finish. "Sick", I thought. Yeah right. I had to tell him that I was fine with paying him just so he could finish what he promised he would. After the second appointment he still didn't finish and asked me to pay him and extra amount so he could finish the next day which didn't bother me so I did because he did an excellent job in my opinion. I tried reaching out to him to get my tattoo done because his service was never completed even after he said he would plus I had paid a heavy amount just for him to just scam me. I will have pictures down below from our last interactions where he literally ignores my messages even though he still post about doing tattoos and giving deals for certain days. Till this day I can't believe he would do this as an adult. There was no completed service and took my money. I could've have used that money to pay off some of my bills but instead I trusted someone to do a service that they couldn't complete nor stand by. Bad experience. He canceled appointment twice And Worked on something way different of what he does just to make some money. I hate to do this but I have no choice. I booked an appointment to get a coverup or enhancement on my tribal unfinished tattoo. Sent him the $50 dollars deposit and set the day, but he canceled ( screenshot picture attached ) Cool! No problem! New date set and before that I went to the opening of the special price tatt. So I got tattooed a character from Disney, Stitch that my son likes. I asked for a price before the tatt Now that is healed I have to get it fixed because it has no detail, and colors are too dark. picture attached. On the day of my appointment. I got a new outline and designs all in darker ink as shown in pictures attached, I had blue color shade already. And pictures show the stencil marks on the rest to be done.$250 only for the new black ink.and then he posted that he hated to do that work. (picture attached) so I asked if he doesn't want to do that shit I go somewhere else to finish it because I gave him $50 dollars to book the next appointment. (screenshot picture attached) but he replied " I will finish it" Then he canceled the follow-up appointment due to an emergency. And this time I requested a refund Because I took the day off to go to get done the rest of the tattoo. -If you don't show up he will keep the deposit money. But he cancels you don't get your money back because if final. No refund and not reschedule date until now November 8 This is the final reason I have to do this review: I live in Hollywood and have to travel on public transportation to go to Colton .thinking that it was a better choice for me. Having a bunch of tattoo parlors around Hollywood.if you are not comfortable doing something just say No And don't do something just take peoples money $310 dollars for the Stitch and darker outline and design patterns. I got couple roses from Pooks at the tattoo shop, he is really bad at responded to messages even after you have had made the deposit. His work is not bad but not worth the trouble, headache, and waste of time it puts you through. Go to another place, pay a little more to be valued as a customer. He canceled 40 mins before an appt that I drove 3hrs for. Doesn't give deposit back!!! Didn't finish my back piece that was suppose to be finished in one session, he didn't have the tattoo stenciled out, while I had sent him the pictures a week prior. Then he took a 40 mins smoke break while I was paying him for the 4 hours that he was suppose to finish the tattoo. Had so many other bad experiences but couldn't say anything since I didn't want to finish my tattoo from another artist.
