I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience here was unacceptable. Within moments of sitting down, the technician injured me with the nail drill. I politely asked her to be more careful, but on the very next nail she cut my skin so deeply that I started bleeding. Instead of apologizing or showing concern, she chuckled, which made an already painful experience feel incredibly dismissive and disrespectful. Accidents can happen, but how they're handled matters. I would have appreciated genuine concern, an apology, and greater care. Unfortunately, I left feeling hurt, uncomfortable, and with very little confidence in the salon's attention to customer safety. Had a great experience at Envy. Everyone was so friendly. We had an appointment and we got right in.

This was my first time visiting. The work quality is terrible. After expressing what I wanted, I was told it couldn't be done after prepping and applying acrylic. I had to keep pointing out uneven and incorrectly shaped nails. It was possibly the specific nail tech but I am a one and done type of customer. read more

I went on a Friday to go get S&S on my nails, the day after getting them done one of my nails broke completely off. I was fine with it, and called and they told me they could fix it for free which I appreciated. When I went back I waited 30-45 minutes to get one nail fixed. Finally someone came to assist me but seemed to rather care about getting to the other customers that were paying for full sets. My nail was fixed very fast and was a completely different size, shape, and color. The person who did my nail also acknowledged my nail was a different color than the rest and did not seem to care. DO NOT GO TO ENVY. my friend and I had appointments at noon for mani pedis. They didn't get started on us till 12:30 and they would start on your pedicure then you'd have to wait for a different person to actually do the polish on your toes. So yet again you're still waiting. Once they finished my toe polish, I waited for another 45 minutes for someone to start my manicure. I got dip and my nails look so stubby and she didn't clean up my cuticles at all. I was visiting my sister at Auburn and desperately needed to get my nails done. My sister was not much help in teh way of recommendations, but Yelp led me to Envy. It was a bit dirty... but I ignored that because I was very pleased with the rest of my experience. I got a pedicure and a dip manicure with tips all for $70 (I am used to paying $70 for a dip manicure with no tips in Nashville). My nails look great and the technician was very quick while also being thorough and diligent. Will be back next time I am visiting and my nails need attention! read more

They don't seem to respect appointments. I know most nail salons take too many walk ins so appointments are usually a little delayed, but when I went for my appointment the nail tech I was scheduled with was just sitting down to start a full set of acrylics on someone else and expected me to wait the hour or so it would take. I get having to wait 10-15 minutes but I don't understand the point of appointments if they will totally be disregarded. read more

Great job Envy!!!! I ventured out for the first time since this pandemic started because I was in desperate need of pedicure (I have toenail issues, not just for vanity!). I was nervous walking in but the second I opened the door my nerves were settled. They have a sanitizer station at the front and immediately ask you to sanitize. Every one is required to wear a mask (workers and patrons). The desks are spread out and they are only sitting people at every other pedicure chair. Also each table has a plexiglass shield and the chairs for pedicures also have a plexiglass shield! Every chair is covered with a disposable cover and cleaned after each use. They also have single use files (2x) that they give you to take with you, so you know they can't be used again! I have always chosen envy because they do a great job, but I truly felt like this was outstanding service and safety! Thank you! read more

They don't have a full staff and it was just sit down in a chair until someone can figure out your here for service. The have a lot of people walking in and out. Absolutely Excellent Service & Quality. After reading some negative reviews on other nail salons in the Auburn/Opelika area, I went with Envy and was VERY satisfied. I took my 8-year old daughter on Friday afternoon, without an appointment and we were seated right away. My nail technician was sweet, thorough, and did not rush. I had an amazing massage and hot towel service as part of my pedicure and I was very, very pleased with my gel polish service - applied exactly as it was supposed to be, and great finish. I went here this past Friday and had my nails MASSACRED. My staff member cut my nails down to the point that they were extremely painful, my cuticles were bleeding for the entire appointment and when I got home to take a picture, and at one point she actually cut off skin around my nail so that there is an open wound acting as a border around my tragic manicure. Envy has been my go - to nail salon for a while now but the past few times i've been there it has been significantly less busy than it usually is and yet i wait probably 30 minutes for someone to get to me while some of the workers are sitting around doing nothing. I have heard of people being seated before you even if they come in after you simply because they LOOK like they have more money than you. Keeping in mind getting my nails done is something i do for leisure so i don't particularly get dressed up to go to the nail salon. However, this time i went i was not having it. A girl came into the salon and looked very nice and dressed up and even though i had been there for probably 30 minutes waiting she got seated right away. i had been told repeatedly that it would only be 5 more minutes and before i knew it i had been sitting there for half an hour. i ended up walking out as this has happened more than once at this nail salon and i decided to take my business elsewhere. If you're looking for a great salon with friendly service, this is not the place to go. My cousin, sister-in-law and I went into the salon and my cousin immediately felt uncomfortable because of the nasty faces she was given by the employees. She recorded what they were saying and had her friend translate it for her. They were talking about how the three of us would never get married because we don't keep up with ourselves. Mind you, we were having a girls' day out and didn't feel like dressing up. We just wanted to go to the salon, relax, and have a good time. What gives people the right to judge other people? My favorite nail salon in Auburn! The prices are great, colors are plentiful, and staff is very friendly. They have a very thorough pedicure, even at the cheapest option. This is about 15 minutes from my house, but I make the drive out there because it is much better than salons near me. The only downside is that they at usually very busy, but I think that's a good sign of quality! They also stay open later during the week, until 8pm! read more

Usually get my nails done in mobile, al but was visiting auburn and needed my nails done. At first everything was off to a good start. I was seated right away and they quickly soaked off my precious S&S and put my hands in the warmer. After that she began to file and after repetitively telling her it was burning my nails she kept filing. The S&S application went smoothly however I noticed on some nails she didn't cover side to side completely. After telling her she gave me a nasty glance and kept going on with what she was doing. What really was my breaking point was when I was asked to pay before my nails were completed and I guess whenever i didn't tip her enough or what she expected my nails were sloppily and hastily finished and I was told to go sit at the dryer. All in all these aren't the worst nails I've had but they definitely are not the best. And I believe if you are going to pay $35+ for nail services then you should expect the best. Probably will not return and if I'm ever in the auburn area I will probably check out another salon. read more
