TLDR: Great experiences, chrome acrylics, auburn resident. I've lived in Auburn for the longest and I've been to an array of nail salons in the area and Noire has consistently given me great results. The workers are very attentive to you as soon as you sit down and take their time to give you what you ask for. It is clear they take pride in their work and that they want you to be pleased with what you walk out with. The salon itself is always clean and well lit- I've never had an ill experience with the tools or equipment they have. I will say that if you are there for a long time, bring something with you because they don't have TVs inside. Special shoutout to Catherine and ThuyKhanh for being awesome at their jobs! Katherine always gives me the best pedicures and is so friendly. ThuyKhanh gave me my favorite set of nails i've ever received; she was incredibly responsive and patient with my indecisiveness for what exactly I wanted on my nails. I have followed Lynh and Vynh from another nail salon. They have taken care of me for over 10 + years. I love their place, it is beautiful. Yes the location is great for them they get alot of business. With that being said sometimes that does mean you have to wait. It is woth the wait. I get so many complements on my nails. I have recommended many family members and friends to go to Noire The Nail Bar. Please remember when you are kind to someone they are kind to you. They work long hours and sometimes do not get lunch/bathroom breaks, just so they can take care of us. Remember what you say and do can hurt someone and their business. I had pedicure here twice and both times were so disappointing because they didn't use sterilized tools, the tools were scattered all over their toolboxes. The first time the girl made my nail bed and my skin bleed!!! That has never happened to me before. She was so amateur and someone else had to step in. The second time, I said I have ingrown toenails and they said based on the law we don't have to take care of that while any other places that I've been to before took care of it. When I told the person to cut my toenails a bit more, she couldn't do it, she got frustrated and started acting up and someone else stepped in again and was not nice at all. I don't think customers should be treated that way. The acrylic was OK. She was able to get the design but it chipped after 2 days which was very disappointing. This is my first ever review anywhere. I've had my nails done here twice. The first time there was an hour wait and I saw 3 people go ahead of me who arrived after me (my nails were cute though!) The second time, I was seated and helped immediately! However, the girl doing my nails was whispering to her coworker the whole time, coughed on my hand, and didn't ask me if I wanted to change my length or shape. She also didn't apply enough coats, so my nails are halfway see through. Now I have nails that are see through, an awkward length, and a weird ugly shape. On top of that, the service cost $43. I can go elsewhere and receive better care for half the price. read more

I do know why my review disappeared or someone wanted to hide the truth. THIS IS A WARNING for those who want to work for Noire the nail bar. I was working for this salon and these are some of the reasons I STRONGLY DO NOT recommend to work here: - They don't value their employees: they intentionally let their workers suffer the winter cold without turn heat on. - They STEAL money from nail techs for unclear reason: the owner took my $93 without any prior notification. When I asked him why and the answer I got was "He did receive the money in bank account so he did that". Note: the client already paid and transaction went through. When I ask the owner's wife also working in the salon, she replied that she took no responsibility. Although the salon has the no refund policy. - My situation was not FIRST time, there was another one last month and that nail tech already left because they forced her to pay for what beyond her responsibility. That was the act of STEALING and unreasonable. So if anyone is considering working over here, think twice. Unless you want to experience an unprofessional and toxic working environment. read more

Every dollar we spend at an establishment it should be memorable in a good way unfortunately this place left a bad experience in my daughter life. She advised she went for mani pedi but after pedicure the guy half way gave was taken down to just a pedicure. Why would you take a client but never stay with your client, can't do a pedicure and wrap her feet in the towel and paint her toes without toe separators but add them after you polish. You all didn't offer her boyfriend a discount or even free service. Just awful customer service. It just so sad they every bad experience we have to go to social media to let other people know to stay AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. HORRIBLE SERVICE AUBURN LOCATION. read more

Noire does a really good job on nails but the workers can be pretty rude sometimes. You can ask basic questions and they act like they're so bothered to answer your questions. Some of them are extremely rough when they work on you as well. read more

Do not go to this place by any means... I've tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt, but it's terrible esp if you go during the busier parts of the day. I used to only go as a last resort but this was for sure my last time going after experiencing terrible customer service. She is great at both manis and pedis and does exactly what I show her pictures of to do and I get so many complements every time . And they always last a long time! Terrible customer service. I let them know what time I had to leave and she assured me we would get the nails done in time. After waiting over 30min, I was then told it would be at least another 15min. I had to leave because of another appointment. I get you are busy but just let customers know what to expect and don't try to just keep them in the salon. I now wasted, in total, an hour of time and still didn't get my nails done. Well to start off I called and tried to make an appointment and they told me no appointments and to walk in. So I did. They told me to pick out a color and I sat down and waited. And waited. And waited. I was never acknowledged or told how long this wait was going to be, I waited over an hour. This girl next to me waited 1 1/2 hours just to get her nails soaked off. I came into the salon with very out grown acrylics and was just wanting to start over and get a new set. (Like I usually do every 3-4 weeks). I finally got seated and the young lady was nice, but I realized she was filing down my acrylic almost down to my real nail. This was unusual because usually when you "pop off" acrylics you want them to be thicker so it's easier. But I'm not the "professional" so I trusted her. She started trying to pop them off and it kinda hurt more than normal but I didn't care because getting acrylics off hurts weather you like it or not. Well, she got to my thumb and completely ripped off the side of my REAL NAIL. It started bleeding instantly and started to burn. The white chunk on my nail that you see in the picture is a piece of acrylic over my skin with no nail under it. The manger or whoever she was came over and apologized and told me I should put 9 nails on and then come back the next day to get the thumb on when it "heals". Then she told me not to worry and that I would get a discount.... I told her no and I just wanted to get my nails off and be on my way. For waiting over an hour and breaking my nail I think I would deserve more than a "discount". Three days later my nail still hurts like hell and definitely can't get them done for weeks until it heals. This was my first time ever coming here. And it will definitely be my last. read more

First and last time ever. The nail tech was so rough and when clipping cuticles kept looking around and jabbed my hands with the tool 3 separate times. When cutting down the length of my nails, she cut my pinky nail extremely short into the skin and I said nothing. For the second nail, I asked her to please not cut very short as the skin is a little higher on my pinky's. As soon as she cut it, it started bleeding from how short she cut. Overall very careless and non-attentive during the whole process. Worst nail experience. read more
