Wow! The owner (assuming he is) has some serious anger issues and almost got into a physical altercation with a female guest about dead skin still on her feet. He was yelling at her as she said, "....you don't need to raise your voice". It was very uncomfortable for all the other guests. Plus her granddaughter was with her witnessing it all. Following the departure of the female client, he was still angry and just all around rude and not friendly. I don't know how this place has stay in business. The few times I've been here (out of desperation) the experiences have been terrible but I just needed quick pedicures. I would strongly advise spending your money elsewhere (there are about three other nail salons within a 2 block radius). Someone like that shouldn't be in business. read more

I'm new to the area and I needed an acrylic fill. I called ahead and asked for the price. Was told it was $15 ended up paying $18. Didn't even say anything because I was just over the experience. Ugh!!!! The owner is cool but his wife is Rude! Rude! Rude! and always have an attitude! She's never friendly, just walks over to you, asks a question then turn around (with an attitude) and walk away. Today, they were busy, I walked in everybody looks up at me but no one says anything (they look upset.., But why???) A long pause...then asked me what I wanted, I told her. I have been going to Envy for over 2 years now. I get my nails done by one of the younger girls named 'V' . She's awesome, very energetic, funny and sweet! Speaks English fluently and is usually completely booked. I do agree with the other reviewer that it is rude to continually speak to co workers in another language around English speaking customers. It makes you feel as though they're talking about you. Usually I receive a friendly greeting upon entering the establishment. Only a few times have I been greeted by V and no one else. I wish you ladies would have gone to her..you would probably still be going.. I don't however blame you for doing what you feel is best for yourself. worst manicure I've ever received. I never even write reviews but this was so bad I'm upset I even paid. Hardly soaked or trimmes. At first it was so sloppy that I asked her to redo it. The polish was all over the edges of my fingers and had bubbles. She redid my nails with a different color because she said the polish was too clumpy to look good. I have always came here for my pedicures but today was absolutely the worst. I paid 25$ for the lady to trim my nails and paint them with my own nail polish. She didnt file my nails at all or even put lotion on my feet. This was the worst pedicure I have ever gotten. The place smelled horrible like sewer also. I should have just stayed home and saved the money. My 5 year would have done a better job. And I told the owner and he was just trying to get me out of the door as fast as he could. This salon was terrible. I had no chip done. Right away she started to file my nails down. Didn't give much attention to them. I told her she could make them short. The nail shape wasn't awful but some of my nails ended up being cut/filed on a diagonal. When she started doing the no chip polish I could visibly see that my nails weren't being covered all the way and once I left I noticed a lot of bubbles. I've never had a no chip done in 20 minutes from the time I walked in and left. I went this past Friday and they all started to peel off yesterday. They are now all off today. The biggest waste of money. No chip should last at least 2 weeks not 4 days. I won't ever go back to Envy Nails. read more

I called to purchase a gift certificate for a friend who lives nearby, and they were extremely unaccommodating. Horrible customer service. Never even made it into the salon. No website. Highly disappointed and dissatisfied! The lady doing my nails appeared to be extremely tired and irritable. I went in for a gel fill. After she was done the gel was lumpy, she didn't smooth it out. She cut me with the file, didn't apologize, and just slapped the polish on top of the lumpy gel. I'm certain I could have done a better job with my eyes closed. Took my girlfriend to Envy Nails last Thursday. Customer service was no more than average, she was talked into getting her nails done by dipping them. This of course was recommended by the employee doing her nails. This gentleman had claimed it was a new and improved way of doing nails, " they're a lot harder to break, very durable", the exact words of the employee. Although less than 48 hours later my girlfriend found that she already had a nail broken. This was not due to her mistreating them but more the lack of quality of work done by Envy Nails. She kindly went back in two days later to get her nails fixed. She explained very respectfully that she was upset that her nails were already breaking and wanted them to touch them up. The staff seemed to take her respectful complaint to offense and went on to fix her nails with much attitude as it was clear they were upset at her. Giving Envy Nails the benefit of doubt we left at least satisfied her nails were fixed but upset with the poor customer service. With the first nail breaking, my girlfriend made sure she took extra caution to avoid breaking any more nails. Three days go by and she notices three more nails broke. At this point my girlfriend was so upset with the quality of work as well as the dipping option for her nails. We decided to go back into Envy Nails to explain that not even a week after getting her nails done originally more than half were already broken. The gentleman that did her nails originally was working and was who we spoke to about the matter. He called her a liar and that she knows she broke them. This is completely unacceptable customer service, not only blaming the customer but calling them a liar. I would never recommend this place to anyone, not only due to poor quality of work but the extreme lack of respect to brand new customer! read more

I needed a polish change and the gal at Bella rolled her eyes at me and said it would be 30 minute wait. Nail salons are a dime a dozen and so I left and went to Envy...almost across the street. They were very welcoming there and didn't make me feel like a piece of crap just because I only needed a polish change. I've lived in the area for over a year, and had never been to this place. So when I decided to get my nails done recently, I decided to skip Luv's and just go to this place since it is right down the street. I went in and the people were super friendly. They have about 4 employees, 3 females and one male. When I went in the male did my nails. I noticed a sign on the wall about tipping and sadly didn't have any cash on me. I mentioned it, and he said it was fine for my first visit and i tipped on my card. I was so grateful, and I left the place determined to make it my regular place. Over the next two days, my manicure chipped horribly but my nails were sort of long and it wasn't a no chip so I shrugged it off. I went back the following week and one of the women did my nails. She was really nice and my manicure lasted this time until Thursday. I went back and got the guy again. I grumbled it off, because it never seemed to last and I hated paying for them and tipping him, but it seemed rude not to. Then one day I had to work on the day I usually go in. After work, I bypassed all the other salons, because I knew them so well. I drove all the way there and got there at 5:15. They close at 6pm on Saturday. Keep in mind I've been going to this place every week for a month and a half. When I showed up, the place was empty...and they were not pleased to see me at all. I checked the time again and sure enough they didn't close for 45 mins. Why the long faces? I begged and they said it was fine. After some discussion, the older lady did my nails. I was watching the television, so I didn't notice at first, but she was doing a sloppy job. Usually they let you wash your hands after she scrubs at them...but she didn't. she just started painting over the lotion and everything. I glared at her, but she didn't stop. She then grabbed her nail polish and starts painting sloppily down the middle completely missing the corners. I can do that badly at home. I was sort of baffled. Had I done something wrong? I tried to think back to all my prior visits. I'd always been super nice. I never demand anything and I always tip them. WTF gives? I've been here a few times and every time I come I leave disappointed. I'm done with this place,the employees are not welcoming, instead they seem bothered as you walked through the door. I went in for a no chip manicure, and the middle-aged,grumpy looking lady with short black hair assisted with my manicure. No greeting or smile. She had me pick my colors out and sit as she started my manicure. Never said one word to me although she was completely having a full on conversation with the rest of the workers. So rude and disrespectful. Her manicure was terrible, no chip gel all over the sides of my nails, didn't completely cover my whole nail, most of the nails looked like they already had out growth. I had to come home and file and fix what was actually done. This was the worst no chip manicure I have ever had. As I checked out to pay, is when this woman was smiling and friendly, a little too late. I pay and leave her a tip anyway, I'm not one to complain to the company because in the past it's only made them even more annoyed and the service to fix anything is worse. This place is a MAJOR rip off!!!! My daughter and I went in for pedicures, gel overlay fill and acrylic fill. I had 1 broken nail she had 2. $113.00!!!!! WOW!!!!! I would give a zero if I could. Do not go there. I live in the area and try to support local merchants, but this was seriously my worst nail spa experience. I went in, the lady was on the phone and seemed annoyed I interrupted. I asked for a manicure but didn't want polish. She said go ahead and go over there. Huh? Two technicians talking to each other, said not not there - there! So rude. The lady who did my nails was going to just file not cut them, so I said cut a little shorter. She cut them, then took the cuticles off without evern putting anyone on them or soaking. No massage. Total 5 minutes, $15. She talked to the other tech the entire time. I was curious about what this salon's review and I am shocked. I created an account just so I can write this review. I've been going to the wrong place ever since I've started doing my nails. I came into this salon wanting just a regular mani-pedi. I got the guy, Paul who works there and he was very funny. He's really nice and he seems to want to keep a conversation going. He talked me into getting the gel manicure or the no chip and I was hesitant because I'm always washing my hands because I'm a nurse. He did a wonderful job with my pedicure and when he started polishing my nails with the gelish polish, I was getting nervous. The no chip dries so fast! When he was done, my nails were shiny and very clean. I was prepared to come back because I didn't think the no chip would last for me. It took 2 1/2 weeks for my nails to start chipping and they were already getting longer and stronger like he said they would. I went back as soon as I had a chance and they were busy because it was a weekend so I decided to run across the street to the place in front of Wal-Mart. Talk about being rude. When they found out I didn't get a no chip from them, they became really short and snotty with me. So I just asked for a regular mani and I waited to go to back to Envy. I went back to do the gel nails at envy and I got someone else working on my nails. I didn't get her name, but she did a good job on my nails as well. I didn't get my toes done because it still looked fine after 3 weeks. She didn't talk much, but she was sweet. Her work on my nails only lasted 2 weeks but that is normal. I was satisfied with my new nails and I've been going back ever since. I have been keeping up with my nails and I'm glad Paul talked me into the no chip. It's very safe and gentle on my nails. I rated this place before, but the review is now gone. Two years ago I went there because it was close and left with toe nail fungus that took a year to grow out. Thinking it was just an unfortunate event, I went there again year ago and both my big toes ended up with fungus infection. I used anti fungus treatment and it still took a year for them nasty nails to grow out. I have NEVER had athletes foot or anything like this happen to me before Envy nails. The prices are very reasonable, and the service is quick. Suzanne must have mixed it up with another place. I got my fingernails and toenails done, and with a French manicure for about $65. The women do a better job on the fingernails than the men; especially the middle aged woman (I forgot her name). She does an excellent job on the French manicure. It is difficult to engage them in conversation, but if you talk to them about Vietnam or their kids, that will usually do the trick with the women. The thin man runs the place and is rather rude, so I never use him. He is very nosey; asking why you are getting your nails done rather than working in the middle of the day, etc. He also was very rude to my friend when she whispered that she was getting her nails done for divorce court; asking her how many marriages she had had, and why she didn't "hang unto" her husband. He is going to hear it from me one of these days, but if you can stay clear of him, the place is rather nice, and they give a nice pedicure also. read more

I got a light pink with no chip manicure and she never fully took all my purple nail polish off so you could still see the polish through the pink and she scrapped three fingers with the nail file and of course I scabbed the next day.. my nails looked like sh**.. waste of money read more
