I took my mom on a pedicure date here and it was the worse nail experience. It ended up with the male nail tech completely disrespecting my mom. he made jokes (tried to get other staff to laugh with him), he handled her pedicure very rough & blamed it on an ingrown nail. When the pedicure was over I had to ask the nail tech to clean the work area so my mom could safely get off the chair. This grown man was LUCKY my mom was with me otherwise I would have asked him to step outside. That's how disrespectful this grown man acted! read more

Poor customer service. Nail technicians like to cut corners. Last visit nail tech took too much of my nail bed off while shaving and I had to tell her to stop as I was able to feel her shaving my nail off. read more

My wife has been going to this place for some time now. But Friday was the last time. She felt so bad during her nail appointment because the older gentleman was talking to two other associate there at the nail salon and my wife was feeling it was about her hands and just the expressions that the older man was making and the giggling of the other two ladies. During the appointment the old guy was non stop talking and the owner at one point came by to tapped him on his shoulder and few words were said between the two once owner walked away the older guy continued to talk to the two ladies and giggling again started. My wife knew they were making fun of her since he kept telling my wife to relax hands but my wife could do what she could but not to the satisfaction to the old man tech. Just an uncomfortable feeling my wife was saying. Now she has to find another salon cause she's not stepping in this place again. The people very rude. Worse customer service experience I ever had!! They ignored me for over 30 min while they sat me down for a pedicure and never came back to me. When I brought it to their attention that I've been waiting for over 30 min the nail tech said ok and walked off! Mind u my feet was sitting in the water so long that the water turned cold. Make sure you ask for POWDER tips if getting a French dip. They dipped until the tips and then painted the white tips??! When I asked, they said I needed to ask for powder tip if that's what I wanted...I asked for a French DIP, which I believed to be pretty specific. Why dip a portion and paint the rest? Two days later & they're already chipping!! So disappointing as I really like the vibe of this place & I believe I just had a bad tech (who took 1.5hrs to just do my nails). I thought the whole point of getting a pedicure was to have skin cleaned up and nails filed. I got a pedicure by the older lady I don't remember her nail but sure I ordered a basic pedicure but I had to ask her to clean up my skin and she said "$5 more" WHAT!!! I paid $60 and didn't even get my skin taken care of correctly even after I asked. On top of that she did not file my toe nails. My toes look the same as I when I walked in only now with a different color. I'm so disappointed where the nail world has taken the up charges to. I got home and ordered my own house kit. My original lady who is in Elgin, goes in deep like a podiatrist taking out my skin and doesn't charge me this much for it which is WHY I tip her good. Not to mention the lady couldn't even smile. The girl who did it did a great job! I live 20 miles away stopped by cuz I had time to kill! I think I may come back for my next one also! Only problem was they only do cash tips!
