I came in to Envy today with my daughter with an appointment. A friend talked so highly of Ivy ! So I called made our appointment and told the girl on phone I would like both of us to book with Ivy. That didn't happen I got someone else and my daughter got Ivy. That was a little disappointing because I called in and made it clear that I would like to book two full set dip appointments maybe 3 with same Tech ... she said okay like it was a done deal. I enjoyed the tech Tammy who did my nails She was very talkative and sweet. I also see and feel one nail bumpy and you can see in pic what I mean but I didn't say anything. It may just be the dip powder with this particular color bcuz the other one is the same but not as bad ... I will go back and give it another try. I REALLY enjoyed the massage and hot wax !! I started coming to this salon because my previous nail salon consistently upcharged for unclear or inconsistent services. Until today, I appreciated that your pricing felt more transparent. I get gel polish on my natural nails, which has consistently been $30 including tip (which is consistent with their $21-$26 price range for that service). Today, I did expect a slightly higher charge since I had my cuticles trimmed, which would be considered "Gel + Manicure," & based on the posted pricing, should have brought the total to approximately $36, plus tip. Instead, I was charged $43. When I asked why, I was told the $7 unaccounted for was a charge for "gel polish removal." This was surprising and frustrating, as polish removal is something that has been done at every visit without an additional charge and is generally considered a standard part of gel services. I would like to point out that the website does not list a base price for regular polish, but the charge for $62.99 on my account was for the basic pedicure with regular polish + gel polish on my natural nails, including "polish remover." There isn't even a price listed online for the basic pedicure. Additionally, I'd like to note that the charge on November 16th for $30 included removal of my fake nails that I had for my wedding on November 1st. So why didn't I get charged for that? I understand prices can change, but unexpected add-ons for services that have never been charged before make it difficult to trust the pricing, and the people. A regular gel manicure should not total $43, and clearer, more consistent pricing would go a long way. I wanted to bring this to your attention in hopes that you understand that us common folk do notice when you up charge for bogus things. Great customer service. As soon as you stepped in you are greeted. I just didn't think the girl that greeted was dressed inappropriately. She was wearing really, really short shorts. My wife and daughter have been going here for years, but the experiences have gotten worse each time. Most recent visit, the lady doing my wife's nails was on the phone the entire time, distracted, rushed through the job, and kept filing down her nails until my wife finally had to say "please stop filing". My sister and I came to get some much needed self care following an extensive stay at home. Everyone was so welcoming. It's very clean, masks available at the check in desk. Truly disappointing... I would be more understanding if I asked for a design and they openly told me they would not be able to achieve that look, but when I asked for the reference photo they assured me they could do it. I was unhappy with the result the first two times my lady painted my nails and the pictures attached were the third and final attempt (hence the cotton hairs, bumps, streaks, and uneven paint). I was beyond ready to get out of there and was so embarrassed of my nails I ran straight to another salon to pay someone else to fix them. I'm not trying to be harsh, but after paying for an acrylic fill, gel polish, and then an "extra design" with this completely unsatisfactory result just to pay for another service at a different salon-- I am utterly disappointed and won't be back. They got me in almost instantly with no appointment and even while they were super busy!! My nails are even and shaped amazing!! The nails have no bumps in them either. My artist was very gentle with my nails and even gave me a hand/forearm massage after they were done. The whole process was enjoyable and fast. I went to Envy Nails for first time today. Made an appointment and was able to get an appointment within an hour for a Classic Manicure and a Summer Pedicure. I have some weird claw toenails (genetic) but the stylist, Brian, was able to do everything I asked. I like that they have handouts that list all of their services with the price. I picked up a brochure last month when we ate at the Thai restaurant next door. For covid, all staff wore masks and there is a glass or plastic barrier between the stylist and client. I will return and maybe with my daughter and grand daughter for a fun memory. They also have a leaf card which I learned about today. Earn your way towards a $ discount. And, Nathan always asks if everything was alright before you leave. He said if my nails get messed up in the next couple of days that he'd fix them. Pretty good deal I''d say! read more

I went in to have the acrylic removed and just get gel polish. The lady didn't get all the acrylic off before painting my nails and used a fingernail file to get the acrylic off which hurt! And she cut a finger pretty bad with the file and just painted over the blood. I will not go back there. It looks like I did my own nails with one eye closed. read more

The gals here are always super accommodating and sweet. They take their time and make sure to do an amazing job. I received a shellac manicure. Obviously it's my natural nail they paint on. Three of my nails are falling off. The lady filed the sides of them, by night time my fingers were swollen. The nail polish was clumpy and not even at all. I mentioned it to her but she said there's nothing wrong with it. I didn't want to complain further, I just wanted to get out of there. It was the worst experience in a nail salon. They were terrible. I don't think some of them have their license to be a nail tech. My friend that came with me screamed because the lady was burning her with that nail drill. We were not happy at all and we were so uncomfortable! They really need to do something about their services! I do not recommend them at all. Never have my natural nails ever ripped off before!
