A few months ago, I booked an appointment with Hope for 10:00 AM appointment for color, style, and…read morewax. Booked online the day before and arrived 15 minutes early and waited outside the door for them to open. I was told that someone had "walked in" and booked an appointment so she would not be able to get to me. The "walk-in" was not there. So I found that interesting. Now please don't get me wrong, Hope is not the reason I am giving this bad review. She is a fantastic stylist. This location is so convenient I tried again. Booked on the phone for the first available stylist. Was told when I got there they were too busy. A few tears later and I at least got a haircut by one of the stylists. Tried again today. Booked online early, for 4:45 hair color, style, and wax. Called to confirm only to be told that they don't take hair color after 4:00 pm. Thank goodness I didn't drive all the way over there. You could tell that the woman didn't really want to help. She said they close at 7 pm and might be able to do part of what I booked. I use to love this place. They catered to working individuals who don't have the luxury of taking off work during the day time to get their hair done. Now they are subpar and want you to cater to them. This tells me that the SmartStyle company should really take a look at who is running this establishment, and the rules and regulations regarding online booking and service delivery.

Spent nearly $200 for a terrible color I didn't pick out. I'll be driving to OKC to not be rushed…read morethrough and for a color I actually chose. The vibe is supposed to be relaxing but it's just pure chaos in there.

I started coming to this salon because my previous nail salon consistently upcharged for unclear or…read moreinconsistent services. Until today, I appreciated that your pricing felt more transparent. I get gel polish on my natural nails, which has consistently been $30 including tip (which is consistent with their $21-$26 price range for that service). Today, I did expect a slightly higher charge since I had my cuticles trimmed, which would be considered "Gel + Manicure," & based on the posted pricing, should have brought the total to approximately $36, plus tip. Instead, I was charged $43. When I asked why, I was told the $7 unaccounted for was a charge for "gel polish removal." This was surprising and frustrating, as polish removal is something that has been done at every visit without an additional charge and is generally considered a standard part of gel services. I would like to point out that the website does not list a base price for regular polish, but the charge for $62.99 on my account was for the basic pedicure with regular polish + gel polish on my natural nails, including "polish remover." There isn't even a price listed online for the basic pedicure. Additionally, I'd like to note that the charge on November 16th for $30 included removal of my fake nails that I had for my wedding on November 1st. So why didn't I get charged for that? I understand prices can change, but unexpected add-ons for services that have never been charged before make it difficult to trust the pricing, and the people. A regular gel manicure should not total $43, and clearer, more consistent pricing would go a long way. I wanted to bring this to your attention in hopes that you understand that us common folk do notice when you up charge for bogus things. I don't want anything from you, I won't be back to this salon, just as I won't be back to my previous salon because I believe in honest business practices.
