I had Ruby for acrylic full set (ombre) and Daisy for pedicure. They were both fast and professional. The place was very clean and all the staff was very nice. I called ahead to book an appointment, later realizing that I needed to change the time. The ladies were very accommodating. I arrive and you must wear a mask and wash your hands. I was ushered to the chair quickly and started on the process. It was my first time getting Acrylic nails and I had never had fake nails or nail designs done (it has always been shellac on my natural nails); I only knew that I wanted an ombre design. Ruby was fast in getting to work; she even helped me pick an matching color for my toenail shellac! Daisy's foot massage was wonderful. The hot stone treatment was divine. I used to go to Envy nails to get my nails done. The first and only time I went to get everything waxed was not a nice experience. I had never gone for waxing before and I got done top to bottom. I had three work working on me and I know they were talking about me and laughing the whole time. It's very rude to speak your language the whole time. Be aware of non authorized charges. They automatically adding $1.00 on each of your service there. They instructed staffs to add it on at cashier, the female owner is very aggressive and greedy. She will scold at your technician if you question her why? She said it is for the disposable tools but isn't a business expense and tax write off? They never dispose the nails file, if you look closely, you will find pieces of other people's skin still dangling on it. I had never see them sanitize their implements. They just wash it with soap and use the same tools right away on the next client. They had been scamming the public for years. This place is toxic and gross. Also, please if you care about leaving gratuity for the girl, please give cash directly to them. They also take tips from the staffs. Happened a few times i was there. Everytime i find a good technicien, they leave without notice. I came in here for the deluxe pedicure the other day and had a great experience. The lady who did my pedicure was great, and the deluxe pedicure was $43 and included: Herbal foot soak, nail trim & file, callous removal, exfoliation, mask, massage, hot oil treatment, paraffin, hot stone massage, moisturizing and nail painting... I know, right? Probably the most through pedicure I've ever had. My feet looked AMAZING afterwards, and still do several days later. My only complaints would be that the hot stones were a bit too hot and I was there for a long time because my lady was attending to other customers while I was soaking/doing the paraffin treatment/etc (but they did take me as a walk-in when they were already really busy so it wasn't that big of a deal). I paid $27 for a subpar, regular manicure with clear polish. I was in the salon for 22 minutes total (including wait time of 7 minutes to start the manicure, and 5 minutes at the end to let my clear polish dry) and my manicure took less than 10 minutes. I came in with no polish on my fingernails whatsoever and my nails didn't even need to be cut, so I was stunned by the cost. Worse still, I left with jagged cuticles that I had to fix when I got home. I would avoid this place. If you must go, I recommend confirming the price of your service before it begins. Oddly, there was no price listing anywhere that I could see. I wrongly assumed the price would be around $15-$20, which is what I normally pay for a regular manicure with clear polish. I went to the place across the street from Envy (same owners) and they used mop buckets to fill the tubs since the new chairs aren't set up with the plumbing yet. Massage part of the pedicure was mediocre and more of a shin rub. Then once a regular came in, I was ignored for my final polish touch up. I had to ask her to fix the smudge of polish on my toe where she quickly corrected me and said "no, clean." Ok whatever, please finish so I can go. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!! I went for a pedicure 3 weeks ago and it caused an ingrown nail and infection in one of my toes. I question the cleanliness and certifications involved. I went back and they tried to fix it but it felt like they were performing surgery on my toe and nail. Extremely painful and uncomfortable. That said, my friends & I have noticed a pattern of abuse to the staff and this will often reflect in the service. The last time I was there (and believe me it was the last) the woman giving me a pedi was constantly harassed & brow beaten. I use to go to Envy Nails when previous owners had it and I lived in White Rock. Since I was in town I went yesterday and I have to say what a joke! I will not be going back. 1) when I showed the young Asian girl the website prices she could care less and kept quoting a different price which was more referring to the price list on the pamphlets at the counter. No honouring anything so I told her to change the damn website then! 2) they charged me for the small utensils they use as in a nail filer and a nail buffer both items were in a small snack size zip lock bag. I was told to bring with me for next appointment ..... NOT 3) the utensils that are stainless cane in an unsealed back that seriously looked like they were washed and placed back into bag for next client. My previous experience is you see them open bag with scissors or tear it open. Always came completely sealed for sterilization reasons. Not this time.... makes me wonder. Ah! I've never got my nails done here, I did however get a Brazilian wax today. DON'T DO IT!! It was the worst wax experience of my life. She came into the room when I was half undressed without knocking and then stayed in there when she was all done, when I was trying to get dressed again. While in for my waxing I felt like I was been mauled, terrible experience and then no soothing cream was applied I had to ask and she pulled a cream from her pocket and applied. I went months ago to get an eyebrow wax, well to cut a long story short, the lady had no idea what she was doing , she gave me a mirror to look at my eyebrows after and I had to show her hair that was missing an she had to re-do it over Andover, I ended up having to take tweezers of her and finishing the job myself. Me and my friend got brazilians, I was getting a leg wax done first, this lady was terrible she said she was finished and not being rude I laughed and said was she joking, I had SO much hair left on my legs I had to point out every little piece, she said my hair was white that's why she done a bad job, if your a professional you should be used to every colour and type of hair so that is a shitty excuse. To top it of I went out quickly and asked my friend how her Brazilian went and she suggest I not get it done here because she ha loads of hair left. I decided against it and voiced my dissapointed on my legs they suggested someone else do it who's better :/ (weird u think everyone would be qualified and professional enough to all do a good job equal to each other) I decided against it because the lady they auggeste was the lady who done a poor job on my friend. We all say down to get a pedi I was the last one to start and first to finish out I my friends. My feet felt exactly the same as when I arrived and my nail Polish was done to poorly I could andnwouldnof done a better job. Worst Experience Ever!!! Came here to get a new set of acrylic nails done and read the reviews before coming in and they were all quite good. Made an appointment for 5 PM. Got there on time and sat and waited for HELEN to do my nails until 545 ish. Kind of irritating because I did make an appointment. Any who, I still was going to give this new to me salon a chance. Let her know what I was looking for and she said okay we will take these nails off. USUALLY at a normal nail salon they would soak them off, well this lady proceeded to tell me that at THIS salon they do not soak off the nails and rather cut them extremely short and then take a fake nail tip and rip them off that way. The first couple nails didn't really bother me but I was still kind of hesitant to let her continue. She then cut the side of my finger so badly and then just left the nail half on while she went to the next one. I made her stop and told her to just lightly buff what was done already and I was leaving. Then she tries to explain that this was the only way to take them off. She was by far the rudest woman I have ever met and after she buffed them done I got up and she yelled at me in front of everyone in the salon that I still had to pay for my "SERVICE". Do yourself a favour and never go there. Yet during my appointment my nail tech ( I won't say names for privacy) was on her cell phone or the nail salon's phone many times. Six of us came in here for pedicures to celebrate our sisters' 60th birthdays. We had made a reservation about a week ago. We had specially asked if they could do 6 pedicures at a time and they said that was not a problem. My niece even called the morning of our appointment to confirm that we could all have our pedicures at the same time. She was assured that would not be a problem. Three of us arrived first and they seated us in the chairs and got our feet soaking. The last three arrived a couple of minutes later. They had to wait about ten minutes for chairs. Our appointment was for 2:00 and our feet were still soaking at 2:37. Finally a girl came to one of us in our party and started doing her pedicure. Mean while the other five of us are still soaking our feet with no other tech ready to do our nails. I asked to speak to the boss. She said give me five minutes. I said okay. Ten minutes later I realized that it was not going to happen. I asked the others what they wanted to do. All of a sudden another girl appeared and said she was ready to do my nails. Looked like we were going to be fitted in one by one and I could see us being there for 3 hours by the time everyone was done. It was a beautiful day and we had planned to go down by the beach for lunch. I again asked to speak to the boss and told her unless they had five techs ready to do the rest of our nails at once we were not staying. She could not accommodate us as they were doing other peoples nails so we left. We left my sister who had already started getting her nails done behind. She later met us at the restaurant. This could have been resolved the moment we had called and asked if they could do six pedicures at once. They could have been Honest And said no. We will definitely not be recommending this spa. Great employees! It was my first time coming here as a customer and the ladies were so kind to me, they were quite chatty and worked very efficiently. I knew exactly what I wanted and the lady made sure I was very happy with the result. They are cheaper than most nail places I've been too and did just perfect! It was $52 something after tax for fake acrylic nails with gel overlay and most places I've been too the price ranges from $55-$60 BEFORE tax so I consider myself very lucky! I've also given them too many chances - figured tech just having a bad day. Been there 4 times now and service & quality gotten worse every time. Unbelievably paid $20 for lacquer to make polish last longer (supposedly 2 weeks). Polish was so thick it started lifting after 3 days and totally peeled off after 6 days. Was on holidays, not home doing housework or washing dishes. What the heck! So much for my 2 week holiday. Both the woman doing manicure & guy doing pedicure did a sloppy job, didn't file rough edges of nails; ended up with a cut on toe, and oil stained jeans. NOT impressed! read more

I've been coming here once every month for the past year and they're pretty prompt with time and cleanliness which is a huge plus in my books. Today however was honestly really disappointing. The girl that worked on me used her coworkers old towels that had another clients shellac gel chipped polish and proceeded to clear the towel in a unsanitary manner which threw all the chips filings all over me. Normally I would've said something but I didn't regrettably and left it. Then within 10 mins they had 6-8 walk ins & they took them all. Being short staffed I could tell they were rushing the girl doing my nails to cater the large rush of customers. I don't have high expectations in general though I felt it's was a bit rude that If you can't take that many walk ins at once then don't say yes, or say come back in 20 mins instead of rushing the current patrons in order to move everyone along.
