This place was such a treasure to find! Went in here to check out the wine selection and decided to buy a bottle and enjoy a glass in their nice dining area. The natural lighting from the big windows gave the place an inviting and relaxing vibe. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. My only regret is not staying longer to try their food. Next time we'll stay for a bottle of one of their delicious wines and try some of their food offerings. read more

Wife and I really enjoy this place. It's consistently good. On summer evenings, they often have live music outside. Along with two other couples, we joined one of their wine clubs. They regularly host wine dinners, which are always a lot of fun. Lots of boutique wines but our most recent wine dinner was Caymus. In other words, lots of variety! An extremely talented chef runs the (connected) restaurant next door (Provisioner's Tale). Just superb! Low key, not pretentious. Quiet. A complete change of pace from the big chains that cost significantly more. Also, you can stroll around and pick the wine you want. By the glass or the bottle. Also, our favorite sangria, which they make onsite, is just $5 a glass. read more

Cane in with my girlfriend to have dinner and we brought our service animal who is hypoallergenic and a very small dog who has to be with me while I eat for medical reasons and immediately as I walked through the door the lady who i'm assuming is the manager shooed us out and cringed at the thought we would even dare come in with a small dog even though Old Town Springs is very dog friendly! Disappointed today. Eaten here before and enjoyed the experience and the food. Today however was notable. Food took way too long to get to the table...Chicken Wings, two flavors, had very little sauce on either. My burger, truly came out burnt on one side, and seemed Like a hockey puck. Our margherita pizza was basically toppingless... they were slammed around 2:00 pm but, a complete contrast experience to what we've experienced before. Employees are very nice and I offered an opinion of Our experience after they asked how lunch was, but it seemed to fall On deaf ears. I want this restaurant to succeed but I believe this rating needs to be seen and hopefully Envy takes it to heart. I will say upfront I think it may be a little pricey and I think it would be really nice if there was some couches or more relaxing seating but the staff is amazing the wine is amazing and the little snacks they have are pretty nice I would say the everything is lovely overall. This place is a gem! Half of the store is a boutique and the other half is a wine bar. Most of the wines seemed to be boutique style wines from all over the world. I was impressed with the selection. I'm not familiar with this area but decided to try this place with a couple of girlfriends. From the moment we walked in, we knew we had made a great choice! We were welcomed in and quickly taken care of. Our server was knowledgeable about wine and helped us each choose something we would enjoy. We started with the cheese platter- perfection! And then had the pizza which we devoured, the crust is obviously homemade. Envy Wine Room was a pleasant surprise find. We were visiting a festival in old town Spring, and saw their was a store with wine. They have tables tucked away in this gift store, so you can shop and drink. I thought they had a nice selection at very reasonable prices. We had a bottle of Tempernillo and meat and cheese plate. The person working told us if we wanted to go to the other stores and shop we could take plastic cups and go shop, so we bought a second bottle of wine and went shopping. Pros and Cons: Excellent quality food but very small portions. Prices are high and it lacks ambiance or atmosphere for a wine bar. Its more of a shop/boutique that also sells wine, however the wine selection is very nice. The wine glasses are small portion stems and not your traditional larger size. The chairs and tables lack comfort. The dining area is more like a BBQ setting. With more upscale cozy furniture and some artistic decor it would have real potential. read more

I agree with other reviews that is it a quaint little place and for a glass of wine, no doubt it is awesome. But we won't ever return there for food. It took a unreasonably long time for food for the four of us to come, and our appetizer forgotten about. Blame was given to the rush of people. Look around. Its not that big. Once it came, the BLT was awful with the bacon completely burned. Ate it anyway to appease hunger and avoid being there any longer. read more

Ordered food from Taste and See and had the food delivered to the Envy Wine Room ( right next door) and had an incredible time. Service in both places just really really nice!!!
