I cane here for a Leadership conference in Leavensworth, I won a scholarship so room and conference was paid for. This hotel doesn't look big but it's huge. Rooms are very spacious and comfy, I tried the bathtub and it was awesome and the shower was pretty killer as well. The bed was super comfy and being the only one in the room didn't need a double bed room. So many things to see in this hotel I couldn't get it all. If you are ever in this town come and stay here I'm telling you that you won't regret it. read more

What an AMAZING place to stay!! From the moment I walked through the doors, I felt like I was at home!! The pictures on the website do not do any justice to how beautiful this place is, NONE!! As reluctant as I was to share my experience because I wanted to keep this place a secret (lol), I just had to! Keep in mind, the ambience of this Inn is part of Leavenworth so don't expect it to be completely modernized or contemporary. The staff were very nice and friendly. Always smiled as we passed through. The amenities available during your stay, was great! There are many more things available/ additional areas to this place that I didn't access during my stay. The dinning area is very clean and large with many windows to view the back of the property as well as, the snow capped mountains. The rooms are quite big and bathrooms are huge. Both very clean! The beds and pillows were soooo comfortable. In the room, there are ACs and a door that leads to a small balcony with a patio table and chairs for the outer rooms. This area isn't a personal-ish space because there are no walls separating the other rooms and during our stay, we did not experience other patrons utilizing this access to enter nor exit therefore It wasn't an issue for us at all. The upper floors have access to the stairs going up or down to the parking stalls. I, personally, did not feel it was a security issue at all. No noise issue at all as well, very quiet and peaceful. I was able to checkout the family/game room and it is large with everything they say is available. There was nothing impersonal about this space even though It's a shared space. The 2 lounge areas make you feel like you are at home. We actually sat in the lounge area on the second floor to relax and figure out where we were going for dinner. I've seen families having lunch and others just doing their thing. The lounge areas were kept clean. Couches were comfortable too. We were in walking distance to the promenade and never felt unsafe. In summary, I really needed much RRR and the Enzian Inn did it for me!! Everything was perfect!! All that I experienced here, was intentional and I felt important. We've now stayed at the Enzian Inn in Leavenworth three times, and historically it's been one of our favorite family getaways in the area. The location is excellent -- an easy, quick walk into downtown Leavenworth -- and the property itself is still a great fit for families. Between the indoor and outdoor pools, the downstairs playroom, and even the golf simulator, kids have plenty to do without ever leaving. The morning Swiss alphorn performance is also a uniquely fun touch that still makes the experience feel special. Breakfast remains a major highlight overall: the pastries are excellent, the omelet station is great, and the coffee is solid. That said, a few details have slipped. The sausage was the inexpensive Jimmy Dean microwave type, and one morning we found a long hair in the gravy. When it was pointed out, the chef simply replaced the ladle rather than the gravy itself, which was off-putting. While the amenities are still strong, the property overall feels about a decade more worn than it should at this price point. But the bigger issue this visit was service and staff engagement. We didn't ask for anything unreasonable -- just basic hospitality -- and repeatedly got flat "no" responses with little effort to help or even explain. The most frustrating example was the outdoor fires. Earlier in the day, we were told by a manager they'd be lit around 4pm and run until 10pm. When we went out around 6pm, none were on. When we asked, we were told they wouldn't be lit because they're "hard to turn off," despite stacks of firewood sitting right there. Instead, we were handed a book of matches and offered a Duraflame log for purchase -- even though lighting the fires has always been presented as a standard hotel service. It felt especially awkward since we had grandparents visiting who had paid for day passes to use the amenities with us that evening. We also asked about a late checkout and were again met with a flat no -- not even an offer to check availability or provide a paid option. We weren't expecting a free courtesy; we would have happily paid for the extra time. The overall impression was staff who simply didn't want to be bothered, which was surprising given how warm and accommodating the Inn has felt in past visits. So this ends up being a mixed review: still a very good family property with great amenities, a fun breakfast experience, and a great walkable location for Leavenworth -- but service has slipped noticeably since our previous stays. With more engaged, guest-focused staff and a bit more attention to food quality and upkeep, the Enzian could easily return to being a top-tier family favorite for us. Oh my stars! The Enzian has absolutely captured my heart! While there are so many inns and hotels to choose from when visiting Leavenworth the Enzian is simply my favorite and dare I say the best. Let me tell you why... First of all, the Enzian is a hotel that is attentive to detail. There is no drab boring atmosphere with gray and white everywhere you look. Instead they bring in unique, beautiful Bavarian hints of style that make you feel so cozy and right at home. The quant and classy atmosphere is what keeps bringing me back. This hotel also offers so many wonderful amenities! Definitely a great place for family's! When you first walk in you're greeted with a lovely sitting area and tea bar (pretty sure hit chocolate is available upon request too). It's all just so warm, cozy, and inviting. There's a gym, golf bay, basketball court, a whole room with TVs and ping pong tables where they show movies and make popcorn each night! The pools are fabulous! We visited during the winter and that just brought the atmosphere to a whole mother level. The indoor pool is nice and warm. Long enough to swim laps, but shallow enough to be comfortable for many swimming levels. The outdoor pool and hot tubs are just splendid. It was one of my favorite parts of the trip to go out and sit in the warm hot tub next to the fire and snow. Felt straight out of a hallmark movie! Don't be afraid to brave the cold for it, it's beyond worth it. Another one of my favorite parts about the Enzian in their morning breakfast Buffett! So many yummy options for all to choose from. And there's an omelette bar! I always enjoy going in time to see the horn player. And who wouldn't want to cross off breakfast with the most stunning Mountain View's from their bucket list. All in all, I just love the Enzian. I don't think there is a cozier spot I've ever been. Will definitely be back again. read more

This is THE hotel to stay at in Leavenworth. It's directly across the street from downtown, making it incredibly convenient especially for family's. They offer an amazing breakfast, including fresh-made waffles with a beautiful view. The bed was very cozy, and the bathroom was spacious. One thing to note: the rooms with a "deck" do not have private balconies. The deck is shared among all rooms with no dividers, which caught me off guard when we arrived. An excellent stay during the troubled 2025 holiday season, in which flooding and landslides had seriously impacted the area and delayed festivities. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, to the point where I forgot to take pictures beyond when I first entered the room. We came in the off season, so amenities were readily available and we had our run of the place. Shuffleboard, skeeball, ping pong, and billiards are available in the game room. There's basketball and racquetball available, though the enclosed room echoes as much as you'd expect. There are multiple pools and hot tubs and my kids were mad when I dragged them away from the hotel into town. Most of our experiences with the front desk were very positive. I entered our occupants when booking the room but the lady at the desk let me know that the new system is having trouble, so I was charged $10 per guest, which I thought had been included already since I'd entered them. They also have movies and popcorn nightly, which is really fun. When we went down, the projector was on but nothing was playing and no popcorn. When my wife went to ask if they could make popcorn, she came back with a frown and a microwaveable bag. The guy said it was too much work to make popcorn for just one family - were other people there too? Ugh. Fortunately, a lady came down shortly after, made popcorn in the machine, and got the movie started for our family AND the other family down there. Breakfast was a treat. There were many options and I'd wear out my fingers trying to type them all up. It was good - one of the best hotel breakfasts we've had, made even more enjoyable by a live alpine horn concert. It was a pleasant stay and I'd consider staying again, even if there were a couple of unfortunate surprises and interactions. read more

There is so much to do with the indoor, outdoor and adult only pools, gym and court, golf... This hotel also includes a full breakfast with entertainment! Cute lodge in Leavenworth! Great location right across the street from the main area. Outdoor pool is open year round! Tons of activities for families! Free breakfast was delicious! I made the mistake of booking a queen room and I thought there would be two beds since I put 3 adults and there was only one bed. The hotel was great about changing to a king and said they would give us a pad. (Which I thought would be like a cot but it was a physical pad for the floor) I gave this stay a 3 instead of 4 because I felt our room was not the cleanest. There was hair within the bed and the pad they gave us was thin and very dirty stains on it. Also they use metal keys and we always had trouble with our door. Resort was very nice cleanliness and price was the reason for my rating. read more

Enzian Inn is a centrally located right on Rte 2, and we had a mostly pleasant visit this winter. The hotel is done up in a German Alpine theme, but the rooms are still modern. The dining room is actually on the top floor and is certainly a highlight of the hotel, as one can enjoy the mountain views while eating a generous breakfast spread with some nice pastries, hot foods, and cereal. They are also known for Alphorn performances during breakfast and it was fun to learn about and listen to these very long instruments! There is also a long list of facilities such as a pool, golf simulator, etc., but we spent most of our time out in the town. It was a nice tough though to hear a piano player in the lobby when we returned. read more

Beware! This location is charging us for two nights for a room that we tried to cancel on Dec 13th that was reserved for Dec 18 and 19. They are without power and their towns famous Xmas lights etc are not working. Streets are closed, their internet is not working, and many stores and restaurants in town are closed. In past years we've done this trip and we were very pleased. Today the person at the front desk was rude and sarcastic to us, even though we were repeat customers. This attitude is due to storm conditions in the area during their biggest paydays of the year. Floods and windstorms are creating major problems in the town and they panicking over losses of revenue. Rather than supporting their customers they choose to panic because of their weather problem and grab as much money as possible. This is not exactly the "wonderful little Xmas Village image" they push in their sales and publicity presentations. I've had better treatment much bigger hotel chains than. This is not the happy little family business they pretend to be. read more

We have stayed at Enzian Inn several times, and our family has always absolutely loved it. Unfortunately, our most recent stay was a big disappointment. We traveled as a large group, with 20+ kids and the game room was a major amenity we planned for our trip. During this stay, the game room was closed all day on one day and for a large portion of second day. With kids in the group, they couldn't stay in the rooms or swim all day, so this was very frustrating, as there wasn't much to do for them. This kind of closure should be communicated ahead of time by email or notice so guests can plan accordingly or reschedule, especially when it affects a planned amenity for a large group. When the game room finally did open for a few hours in the late afternoon, the experience was made worse by the evening employee, Cory. At 10:01, he came in with a very poor attitude and immediately began kicking everyone out, waving his hands and rushing us. He even told us it will be quicker if we left the garbage and left now, telling us to pick up the pace, while we were just collecting the snacks, dinner off the table and cleaning up our belongings.. It felt unnecessarily rude and unprofessional. Given that the game room had been closed for much of our stay, some flexibility and kindness from staff would have gone a long way. Instead, the customer service left a very bad impression. Because of the lack of communication, limited access to amenities, and poor customer service, I am leaving this review and reducing my star rating. We hope management takes this feedback seriously, as we've had much better experiences here in the past, and would love to come back with our big groups again. Thank you. read more

Everything reviewed is true about Enzian Inn However, after spending 4 days every summer at the Enzian, the recent manager harassed us for smoking "outside". We were told by the Manager to go into the middle of the parking lot to smoke, in the 90 degree heat. upon asking manager why no ashtray, no response All I know is I paid $300+, per nite to stay at the Enzian Inn, and the Manager wasn't the least bit interested in trying to meet us halfway by accommodating HIS guests. I will not be staying at the Enzian Inn anytime in the future. It was a nice getaway haven until that happened today. We booked this hotel for the location + family-friendly experience & it did not disappoint. It's very close by to the reindeer farm, abt 30 min drive to snow mobile tours, and walking distance to the Bulgarian Village. We had a short but really lovely/cozy stay at the Enzian Inn. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted with the smell of fresh popcorn coming from the theatre room. Check in was quick & easy. We did not have enough time to explore all the amenities (game room, fitness studio, theatre room, sports court, mini golf etc). We mostly enjoyed the indoor and outdoor pools & that alone was worth the stay. The indoor pool is huge with plenty of seating and a spacious jacuzzi. The outdoor pool has two hot tubs and it was honestly one of the most beautiful experiences sitting in the warm water while it snowed on us with the air so nice and crisp. That was my actually favorite part of our stay. I will never forget how fresh and clean that cold Washington air was (we are from So Cal). A delicious buffet style breakfast was included each morning. We were able to experience a very wholesome live alphorn performance with our meal. All of the staff were super kind and hospitable. We accidentally left a camera charger behind and they called us shortly after we checked out so we were able to grab it before we left town. I would definitely book to Enzian Inn again. I just loved this place, from the looks to the staff to the while process. The check in was easy and informative, the staff was beautifully dressed and friendly. Each interaction we had was pleasant. We went for the suite with hot tub and fireplace, we had the kids with us, and came for an elope and the partition gave us plenty of privacy. 2 doors to the bathroom and a semi private balcony we very very nice. The hot tub was fun, they have a real wood fireplace, and in fall, though it was warm, it was a nice touch. Bed was beautiful, comfortable, and clean. Great job staff! The amenities were amazing. Mini golf, it was a legit golf course.. like, a shrunk down gold course! The pool, indoor and out were amazing. The best indoor hotel pool I've seen! Hot tubs were hott!! Towels were soft and plentiful. Breakfast was still popping mid covid. Same amazing buffett but safe. All baked goods and food was just, good... not hotel good, but actually good. The Enzian Inn looks small from the street, but it is much bigger inside, and offers plenty to do. Indoor and Outdoor Pools/Hot tubs (separate adults only pool is nice!) give you a break from the summer heat after walking downtown in the sun, and a relaxing evening when the sun starts to set over the mountains behind you. Our room was so adorable! Yes, its "kitchy", but I loved it. In fact, the decor is thoughtfully incorporated everywhere to give you the feel of being in a Bavarian setting. At night the lobby has a piano player that echoes throughout the halls. (Lovely) When you check-in you are asked to sign up for a time slot for breakfast. It was very appreciated once you walked into the room and didn't feel crowded, and could take your time enjoying the fabulous offerings of handmade baked goods, a hot buffet, an omelet station, and an assortment of butters and jams to try on toast or scones. Delicious! Then to be serenaded by an alpenhorn player while sipping on coffee was the unexpected ending to a perfect stay. We loved it, and we will be back! read more

We found this place last minute on a trip just because to Leavenworth and I thought this spot was so cute. Such a quaint little hotel with all the charm you would want from this Bavarian town and we soaked it all in. The room was spacious and old style with a armoire and an ambiance that was really pretty. Basic necessities in the room but the pool was gorgeous. Social distancing wise there were not too many people at the pool when we went but it was sure pretty underground and glistening. The breakfast that was included was tasty. They have an omelette bar and you can get fresh waffles. The views from the balcony are spectacular. The tub in the room is perfect for soaking and I thank the friends at the front desk for all the extra bubble bath! read more

never again ! We were told our promised 2:00 check-in for the $350/nt room was one of many erroneous emails sent, too bad our room may not be ready until 4. The place is just plain OLD and everything is worn out. Toilet seats sit about a foot off the floor, toilets will not flush unless you hold the handle for 30 seconds. Rainfall showerhead floods the entire bath floor if you do not form a towel dike around he shower each time. Room smelled of urine. Bed sunken in the middle- OLD and worn out. Every room was booked as it was a Friday 9/20/24, so asking to change rooms was not an option. read more
