    Mountain Double Queen - Bathroom

You really can't beat the location of the Bavarian Lodge. All you have to do is cross the street, and you are right in downtown Leavenworth. The hotel is super cozy and well maintained. I spent two nights here and my room was very comfortable. I'm normally not a big fan of hotel breakfasts, but I enjoyed it on both days. The only small downside to staying here is the parking. While technically the hotel provides quite a bit of parking, it is super crowded with tight spaces. Thankfully I drive a small car so I was able to get into one of the few remaining spots without any issue.

We stayed at the Bavarian Lodge for our anniversary Dec 8 and 9. Curtis on the front desk was very kind and attentive. The hotel is gorgeous, and our king bedded room was spacious and comfortable. We happened to arrive in Washington during the recent highly unusual heavy rains. This did not deter from the ambiance of either the hotel or Leavenworth itself. The hotel is conveniently located directly across the street from Leavenworths Christmas village. A lovely and charming place to spend a day. All dressed up for Christmas, Leavenworth feels like a visit to Germany without the language barrier or the 14 hour flight. We loved every minute of our stay at the Bavarian Lodge and would definitely return.

Check in was easy and the staff are very informative. They asked what type of vehicle we are driving and I tell them it's a Ford Behemoth. Because it's a full grown truck they need me to park in the back. The back lot is large enough, but getting there will induce a bit of pucker factor due to squeezing between a building and a fence on a tight turn. We had to pull the mirrors in to make it. - bring a small car. - a little exploration later showed us there is a larger entrance to the upper parking lot behind a church, phew! The Woodsman Pub is on the first floor by the front desk and is a wine and beer pub. They also have a snack items menu for a bite to eat. The rooms and the entire hotel in general has a very rich natural wood feel and environment. The doors to the rooms and in the rooms are nice solid heavy wooden doors. Even the sliding doors on the patio are wooden and I've never had a sliding glass door operate so smoothly. The Headboard for the bed is made of what looks like may be willow logs. The chairs are padded but the back, legs and even the coffee table are made of small logs. On the coffee table was a gift to me for my Birthday celebration, a small Lava Cake in a dome. Such a nice touch, and unexpected! Our room has a small gas fireplace with a large wooden mantelpiece. The fire is very effective in heating the room as well as adding to the ambiance of a Bavarian cabin. The bed is a nice medium firmness and the pillows are a little bit towards the soft side, but there are plenty of them. It looks like the sofa pulls out into a hide-a-bed but we haven't explored that. There is a dresser for those of us who like to unpack. We are here for a week, so yes, Thank You! There is a clothes closet with several hangers, an iron and ironing board. A small nook offers a micro fridge, cold water faucet, coffee pot and a microwave. Plus there is always plenty of coffee and room supplies in the lobby. There are also ice dispensers that have small bags of ice perfectly proportional to the ice buckets in the rooms. The view off the balcony of our room shows the front row of old town. At night the Bavarian look is accentuated by the decorative lights trimming the buildings and trees. The bathroom is fairly large and modern. It has a unique glass wall with no door. We had to aim the shower head straight down to avoid splashing out into the rest of the bathroom. A floor towel at the shower entrance was also useful. This morning we tried the complimentary breakfast and it was truly outstanding! Everything was made fresh, nothing frozen from a box. The biscuits and sausage gravy are very good and seasoned well. The egg omelette came in a large pan and resembles more of a frittata. Fresh tomato and spinach really made this work, excellent flavor. All this food at the breakfast bar is outstanding! Everything here is made by the cooks in the kitchen. The potatoes are also freshly prepared and seasoned very nicely and are tender. These rooms are very well maintained and the abundance of natural wood gives it a very rich warm feeling.

My husband and I had such a lovely stay at the Bavarian Lodge! The location is just right across from downtown and the warmth and coziness of the lodge was impeccable and impressive! Have to give Keaton a big shout out!! There was a mix up with our room we thought we booked a balcony and when we checked into our room and there was no balcony, we went back to the front desk to ask for an upgrade, and it was taken care of immediately. Keaton rocks! This place held such a high standard that we actually had plans to go to Suncadia right after our Leavenworth trip and we were so disappointed in the condition of the rooms we just left. Bavarian is a little gem in Leavenworth and we were very happy to stay there . Thanks again!

We always stay at the Bavarian Lodge when we stay in Leavenworth. It is located right across the street from down town shopping. The staff is amazing and the rooms are always clean. The location is perfect for young families with young kids. It made nap time super easy and convenient. The kids loved the pool and jacuzzi. The breakfast buffet was amazing too. Lots to choose from. The bar is also great to grab a cocktail and have dessert. The lava cake was my wife's favorite.

This is a step back into time in a very enchanting and sweet place. For what kind of experience this is, I give it five stars... Although this is not a five star hotel. It IS 5 stars in energy and personality! It's not snooty or pretentious. We absolutely love this place and while it's not cheap it's also not expensive. The front desk goes out of their way to make you feel so comfortable, all of them. They are so kind and gracious, and give you warm greetings and big goodbyes. They helped us with numerous little things!! This place gives extra special effort to make you comfortable and make you feel really at home. If you like a snuggly at home feeling, this place is absolutely perfect. There is a puzzle to do on the table, books for kids to read, a Christmas tree, stuffed animals galore and you can even buy soft, warm, fuzzy blankets, gloves, jackets and hats here. They have the most refreshing infused water that is so delicious, especially after a day of wine tasting. The morning breakfast cooks work really hard to get breakfast out and keep everything stocked. Breakfast is good ol'home cookin' - not fancy, but rich and filling! The biscuits n gravy are yum! I've never eaten' biscuits n gravy! I'm a neophyte- but I thought they were delish!! Housekeeping was also great! The sheets/blankets and pillows deserve a little extra mention! So so comfy! We love this place for 1000 reasons! If you can get a room with a view overlooking the city it's worth it!! The lit up Christmas trees stay on and the lights sparkle into your room all night long. Everything about this place is sweet n cozy - like hot chocolate on a cold day! Also - they put the cutest teddy bears on your bed - probably hoping that you will adopt them... But they are irresistibly cute and they greet you and make you feel like you were at home! I love how you can stumble out the front door into the snowy town center! Watch the kids sled down the hill and go "weeeeee" in total gleeeee! It's so cute! Thank you for another inspiring visit!

Outstanding customer service from the front desk staff to house keeping! We love Leavenworth and so I brought my family to this super cozy resort for our first time and we were very impressed. Great view towards the Village and front row seat for all of the Christmas lights. Kids loved the pool and two hot tubs and we all loved the in-house Woodsman Pub for drinks and apps.

You check out of the room by 11 and the hotel by 11... there your problem is solved. Please don't embarrass us Romanians like that next time and listen to your wife about not being rude to staff (this was when we were in the sauna and you just couldn't seem to stop talking)... I tried so hard not to pay attention to you but you couldn't help but draw attention to yourself. Next time please be quieter or just don't talk at all. I know this is embarrassing for you. Everything at this hotel is EXCELLENT as usual. The only thing that made it less excellent was your complaining. I can already see the future, you calling the hotel to complain about my review because I'm 100% sure you're about to post a complaint and will stumble upon this... please when you call to complain to the hotel about my review, will you let them know you're the short Romania man that I'm talking about...... who complained about having to check out of the room and still being allowed to use the amenities. Salute. Pool staff is excellent, they stay very professional and have classy behavior. The only time we've had issues at the pool is when there are needy guest. They draw so much attention to themselves when we're just trying to relax. Thankfully it's only been a few of the times we've been there. These people usually strike me as those less fortunate in spirit and at the bank. It's clear they over extended their bank account and are trying to milk it for every cent. I wish I could tell them to just go home but that would be giving them the attention they desperately seek.. and I'm sure would cause the staff more issues. Reception and dinning staff also excellent. They are very professional and kind. I've gotten so used to coming here I hate to say I have forgotten some of the formalities like waiting to be seated in the dinning room but the staff didn't make me feel bad for it. I was just very embarrassed. Thank you again for a wonderful stay. I wish I could take this hotel home with me every time I leave.

The entrance is locked, so I used the call button, and a staff member told me I could come in with a few questions. I walked the few steps straight to the front desk. It quickly became clear entry was for me alone perhaps I missed this part over the intercom, and my group was commanded to "get out" outside like we just trespassed and they obliged fast, legit they were scared. Now how a hotel wants to run its business is the hotel's call to make, and I don't dispute it. What I take issue with is the delivery and lack of respect. When I calmly mentioned this wasn't a great first impression with a light chuckle to make light of situation and tried to explain how it came off , the front desk employee, who identified himself as Michael, cut me off with "stop, stop" instead of a brief, courteous explanation. His reasoning was that this is a "guest exclusive" hotel, which is an odd thing to lead with toward someone who walked in specifically to ask about becoming a guest. I have no issue with a guests-only, adults-only policy. My issue is entirely with how a prospective, paying customer was treated at the door. For a property with this reputation and price point, I expected warmth and patience. What I got was curt and dismissive from the first moment. I'm 34 years old and I've never had a hotel interaction like this. This is only the second review about a hotel I've written in my life and the first negative one. I don't make a habit of complaining. I walked in genuinely hoping to book, wanting to become one of the five-star reviews I'd read. Instead I left having been talked over at the front desk. If you're weighing whether the glowing ratings tell the whole story, take that for what it's worth. To the Johnson family and Steinbock Resorts: five generations in Leavenworth, a hotel you designed and built with your own hands, a reputation people drive across the state for. That legacy deserves better representation at the door. One employee, in one minute, can undo years of what your family spent decades building. I hope this reaches you, and I hope you take it seriously.

Keep in mind, the ambience of this Inn is part of Leavenworth so don't expect it to be completely modernized or contemporary. The staff were very nice and friendly. Always smiled as we passed through. The amenities available during your stay, was great! There are many more things available/ additional areas to this place that I didn't access during my stay. The dinning area is very clean and large with many windows to view the back of the property as well as, the snow capped mountains. The rooms are quite big and bathrooms are huge. Both very clean! The beds and pillows were soooo comfortable. In the room, there are ACs and a door that leads to a small balcony with a patio table and chairs for the outer rooms. This area isn't a personal-ish space because there are no walls separating the other rooms and during our stay, we did not experience other patrons utilizing this access to enter nor exit therefore It wasn't an issue for us at all. The upper floors have access to the stairs going up or down to the parking stalls. I, personally, did not feel it was a security issue at all. No noise issue at all as well, very quiet and peaceful. I was able to checkout the family/game room and it is large with everything they say is available. There was nothing impersonal about this space even though It's a shared space. The 2 lounge areas make you feel like you are at home. We actually sat in the lounge area on the second floor to relax and figure out where we were going for dinner. I've seen families having lunch and others just doing their thing. The lounge areas were kept clean. Couches were comfortable too. We were in walking distance to the promenade and never felt unsafe. In summary, I really needed much RRR and the Enzian Inn did it for me!! Everything was perfect!! All that I experienced here, was intentional and I felt important. Thank you, Enzian Inn, for a wonderful experience and accommodations! Note: Our time spent here, was at the end of February 2026.

Room: we stayed in a room with a king sized bed on the third floor! The digital app worked super well, and we did not need to use our room keys for anything! It also was super convenient to use the app for other room controls and checking out. In addition, the Wi-Fi was a little slow, but the TV had both cable and all the streaming apps embedded so I just needed to simply log into my Apple TV account! The only downside to the room is at the door to the bathroom was the same door to the closet, and it was a little bit broken, so it didn't slide easily. Also, if you missed the breakfast hour or need to rush out, they also have free bags prepared for travelers on the go filled with a bagel, a bottled water, PB&J, a fruit, and a granola bar! Parking: free and plentiful! Side entrances to the hotel from the parking lot were also accessible from the app btw!! Staff: everyone was super friendly! The rooms are usually cleaned every other day but the cleaning staff were able to clean upon request on the second day! I am always an anxious traveler and want to feel safe/clean whenever I stay - and this was the perfect place!! I would recommend & if we ever came back to Leavenworth again, we would totally stay here again!

I'm unsure what would happen if the temperature rises to the 90s or 100s though. You have to climb stairs to the second floor. The stairs are inside. I'll post a picture of them. There's no elevator and no first floor guest rooms so it's something to know about if this matters to you. The parking lot is right across the pedestrian only street. I might stay there again. The stay came with free parking which was a bonus in Leavenworth because it's such a walkable area. The location of this LOGE couldn't be more convenient. We were able to walk to all the shops, restaurants, and many of the sights in town within minutes. Check in actually happened at the Iconoclast Cafe, where the staff apparently double as baristas and hotel reception. Nonetheless everyone was friendly and helpful despite having to take the time to complete some of the check in information since I didn't book direct and didn't receive the links in advance. Even so, I liked the hotel and room layout as my friend and I had two separate beds and there was even a hammock hanging above them, which was such a fun, unexpected feature. The space had an outdoorsy modern feel with thoughtful elements that made it feel unique and cozy (headlamp, cooler, rumpl blanket, etc.). Even though we didn't end up using the LOGE app or the complimentary bikes, we appreciated that those amenities were available and it's definitely something I would take advantage of on a longer stay and/or at another LOGE hotel. We also didn't check out the beergarden! I'd say one of the only downsides was that the building itself felt a little old though I guess the charm of the space and overall experience made up for it. All in all, a great stay for a short getaway and an event better introduction to the LOGE hotels. I'd happily stay again and look forward to checking out other locations!

They were very friendly and helpful during our email communication and the website was very intuitive. After an sudden winter snowstorm of 6", our vehicle was stuck leaving us lost, cold and unsure how to get to Scandanavian Escapes. After a a quick call to Linny, Mr. Vern gladly retrieved us from our car (which was stuck in the snow!). After hearing that we had not eaten supper, Mr. Vern was nice enough to provide us with both a taxi number and a lift into town. The online pictures don't do the "Birchwood Tree House" justice, but it was our favorite room in the house. Although a smaller room, the decor was beautiful and cozy and we loved the bird theme. The private deck was a nice touch and the morning coffee + breakfast in bed truly made the tree house unforgettable- we can't recommend this room enough. Their hospitality was outstanding- we had such an incredible time at the Scandanavian Escapes that we're already planning our next stay at the Birchwood Tree House. Many thanks to Linny and Vern (and Ruby) for a very memorable weekend.
