Artichoke Caprese
Curtis J.

We finally went here and I like it more than I expected to. No shade to them, but as a vegetarian I wasn't expecting much. I got the artichoke Caprese sandwich, my sweetie got the Italian. Both were bigger than we also expected. The sandwiches are pricey, yes, but you also get the value that you paid for. The markup on the drinks and chips are heavy, but what can you do. The biggest negative is the parking. Enzo's is definitely in the cut, and is probably more so gearex to service USC students and staff. I met my sweetie there for lunch and while I found a spot, she had to park two blocks away. They do however have good signage showing you hot to get there. That all said, I'd check them out again.

You know the food is good when no one is talking as they are eating. We got 3 subs; the Rico, the Stephen and the Italian. Everyone raved about their subs! I really enjoyed the Stephen with a toasted bun but still soft under the outside layer, delicious chicken cutlets, peppers and a balsamic glaze. Will order again! Service was super quick as they started making our subs as we were ordering. Plenty of seating inside or outside if needed

Easily best sandwiches in Columbia. There chicken cutlets are exceptionally good. Been on the hunt for more traditional Italian style sandwiches and this place is really the only shop in town. Would go here every day if I could. Each sandwich is huge too, enough for two meals (one if your feeling glutinous :)

When I tell you these are some of the best sandwiches my husband and I have ever had, I'm not kidding. He got the Emilio and I got the Rico, both added pesto. We also got the cannolis which were fantastic. Highly highly recommend!!

As a first time experience, it wasn't a bad one. My sandwich was pretty tasty. I ordered The Stephen while my colleagues ordered the Italian. The Stephan, which is hot sandwich since they offer hot and cold options, has arugula versus regular iceberg lettuce which is always a plus for me. The bread was not too hard, not too soft; a good soft crunch. My chicken cutlets were seasoned and fried well. Juicy, not dry chicken breast at all! My sandwich also included provolone cheese and roasted red peppers. The vinaigrette that was paired with the ingredients paired well together. SN: The owner is certified Italian from up north sooooo no, you can't get your sandwich the non-Italian sub sandwich way so no, don't ask to get your bread toasted or anything like that lol I actually appreciate the authenticity and if you want those condiments on your sub sandwich, do it at home. Need a nice hearty sandwich that can also provide leftovers for later to snack on, check this place out. It was worth it!

We came to Enzos after a hike on the way back home to Charlotte. We were about to give up as parking was hard to come by - street parking. We ended up having to park and walk over from a different street. So just note it can get tricky at prime times. We got the Lesley (prosciutto, mozzarella, roasted red peppers, and pesto) and the Italian. Both were wonderful and full of flavor. You may think prices are high at $12-14 per sandwich, but they are large! We did not finish them in one sitting. Plus they are STUFFED full of meats and cheeses. Definitely recommend if you are in the area. Service was fast and wonderful. Dog friendly outdoor seating too.

Enzos is the go to place in Columbia for great cold cut sandwiches. The quality is consistently great as is the service. On my most recent visit I got the Italian and The Emilio and both were delicious. The Italian contains classic Italian cold cuts, provolone, lettuce, tomato and olive & vinegar, while The Emilio contains soppresata, ham, Genoa salami, fresh mozzarella, lettuce and hot peppers. Highly recommend. Well worth the trip to Five Points.

"The Stephen"- fried chicken cutlet, provolone cheese, roasted peppers and balsamic

Where to begin. First of all, I am an Italian girl from New Jersey, and this place just brought me back home. This sandwich (The Stephen) was on point! Chicken cutlet was golden brown and absolutely juicy, roasted peppers, provolone cheese and a balsamic glaze that just barely soaks through and makes the bread just a smidge soggy (which is what you want). And that bread though! Perfect crispy outside, chewy inside. I really couldn't have been happier. This place would make my grandma proud. Also love the assortment of specialty groceries inside. Can't find good prosciutto just anywhere! No indoor dining, but a few comfy outdoor seats on a pretty day. Really looking forward to bringing my husband here. He's gonna lose it! Keep up the good work! So happy to have found this little slice of home right here in Cola!

Food is very good, however the price is way too much for what you're getting. Generally worth it though

Couldn't eat there. Got up and told the waiter that we were done and had to go before I puked in the dinning room. This in no way reflects on the waiter. There was also a nice roasted red pepper and black olive salad that came with it. My only criticism is that I felt like the portion of octopus was small for $21. Then I decided to try the Boeuf bourguignon. This was definitely comfort food. A very tasty beef stew, but a bit different recipe than I'm used to for this dish. Theirs has potatoes, carrots, mushrooms, and onions. But the broth tastes like they might also use a touch of tomato paste. I could be wrong. Nonetheless, it was tasty and the thick broth was yummy on the piece of crusty bread it was served with. I'm tempted to come back and order the entree size of the octopus for $32 and see what the portion size is. Service was excellent. Very attentive.

The food is simply incredible. My husband had the Caesar Salad and the Boeuf Bourguignon. I had the Burrata Caprese Salad and the Rousseau Pizza. He gave me a shocked look when I went for the Pizza, but I'm not sure it's fair to call it pizza. Let's just say heaven on a crust! And I'm ready to go back and have the Boeuf. For dessert, we took the advice of our server and ordered the Ube Basque Cheesecake. Wow! (Pictured is the portion we brought home.) I'm a good cook, so when eating out, I expect to have a meal that surpasses my skills. And this most certainly did. The presentation was excellent. I don't give the ambiance a 10, but that's so secondary to the meal I just enjoyed. Thank you to Chef Emma and team!

Our server was excellent--attentive, friendly, and consistently checking in to refill waters and ensure everything was enjoyable. We were served fresh, warm bread with butter to start, which was a great touch. For my meal, I ordered the vodka pasta with added shrimp, and it was outstanding. The shrimp was full of flavor and paired perfectly with the rich, creamy vodka sauce. It was easily the highlight of the meal. Although I didn't have room for dessert, my family ordered the tiramisu and cheesecake, both of which looked delicious and well-prepared. You might wonder why the restaurant opens at 5 p.m., but the reason adds to its appeal--they spend the day preparing fresh ingredients to ensure the highest quality dining experience.
