I ordered pickup and the pizza was hot and made on time didn't have to wait 2 minutes. The staff was very friendly and helpful . The flavor was delicious. We've been going for years! We've always enjoyed our food. I'll give the food 4 stars. But service is one star. The past 3 times we have visited we have sat for a very lengthy time before being greeted. However this last time, we sat and sat. No one ever came. The server walked by so often, not once greeting us or offering any type of communication that someone may be with us shortly. Nothing, completely ignored our group. Finally, we went to the counter and was advised someone would be with us shortly. It appeared that one of the cooks then became our server. We were so thankful for him. He was polite, timely and provided great service. I just don't understand why the other server ignored us. If we didn't have little kids I would have left. The food was good. We've always been pleased. But after three visits and poor service I'm just not sure if it is worth the time. I would only return for take out; I guess. read more

When we moved here 3 years ago we came across this place and truly enjoyed it. The service is always good. The food was fantastic the first time we came then it started dwindling each time we came. On this last visit, my boyfriend and I ordered a salad, cheesy bread and an X-Large pizza. They don't make large. It goes from medium to X-Large. We did the build your own and got pepperoni, extra cheese, green peppers and onion. When it came, we both just stared at as it looked like it was all cheese. Funny thing is, you could see how many pepperoni's were on there.....only 11 of them, and the green peppers and onions were all in the middle of the pizza and barely any of them. It was very disappointing! Salad was good, cheesy bread was good but the pizza was not. Why pay for toppings when you don't even get any. Two of the slices didn't even have a pepperoni on them. Again, this was X-Large pizza with 11 regular size pepperoni's. We were so disappointed but ended up boxing the rest of it to take home hoping we could snack on it later. Once we got home, we ended up chucking it in the garbage. We decided we will not be going back to this place. I went in to try their NY style slice. Two pepperoni slices with a drink for eight bucks. The young guy at the counter was really nice. Made me feel welcomed and had great convo. The slices were reminiscent of NY but missing the crispy crust, the dough was off. It didn't have the dark circles on the crust reminiscent of NY pizza. read more

I am not sure why it has taken me so long to too by here. I had always heard great things about this place and their pizza. My daughter wanted to come by here and grab her a personal pizza and so I brought her. I took a small piece of her pizza and O to the M to the GGG! Been here before, but first time doing dine-in. The pizza was good. My California steak and the grilled chicken sub were bland. The pasta and meatballs were ok. The service was awful. I had to ask to have the table cleared from the appetizer plates, and ended up going to the back to get my own refills because I asked and got nothing for 20 minutes. I decided to switch it up this time and ordered the veggie calzone for dine in. It was in the evening on a weekday and not busy at all, so I chose my own seat. The waitress immediately took my drink and food order. She was friendly. The calzone was huge! It came with ricotta and mozzarella cheeses. I got light ricotta cheese. I appreciated the fact that it was served already halved. I took half of it home. The calzone had the perfect combo of cheesy, crispy goodness. Trying to find pizza in SC that is comparable to the crispy thin crust of Frank Peppe's or the authentic pepperoni and mozz of Sally's Apizza or the topping load of Modern Pizza has been impossible. Schianos is the closest we've come!! It is very reminiscent of the famous NE pizzerias. Crispy crust, good sauce and just the right amount of cheese. We asked to speak with owner who blamed the server, stood at the table arguing with us and was unwilling to resolve the situation. Had an extremely disappointing experience trying to dine in yesterday. Drink orders were taken but then no one came back to take our order for at least 20 minutes. My son attempted to order from the counter but no one would speak to him or make eye contact. Finally a server waited on the one other table in the restaurant but did not come to our table. When I approached the counter to say we were leaving, no one stepped up to make it right. If there was a manager there, they did not intervene to address such a poor customer service experience.
