this firm was hired to pave a deadend street that I live on, this happened Monday June 8, today is Friday June 12, the company has not removed the barricade they built at entrance to my deadend street, i have not been able to get out of the home all week, this paving was done with zero advance notice, after paving was done, they told me no driving for 48 hours, its been 72 hours since the paving is complete and i am still blocked in. I had a heart transplant at Deborah hospital and I have missed 2 appointments this week and have another important Doctor appointment today. Calls to their office only reach voice mail and they do not return calls! I am a disabled senior citizen and been locked in my home 5 days already by this paving company. They also chipped my concrete driveway when they were milling the old pavement and they filled the chip in with blacktop. thats a $7000 dollar concrete driveway double wide. These guys are currently paving my development in Howell. I used to work for L&L Paving and I gotta say, what a better group of guys. They are absolutely killing the job and they are some of the most polite and nice blue collar workers I've ever come across. Thank you for the great work. These guys did serious damage to one of my trees while they were working on the driveway. I went outside to ask them to be more careful as I could see the equipment operator was being very careless, no regard for the tree at all. To my astonishment, his boss walked over to me, began SCREAMING and CURSING at me that "we got a f-ing job to do!" and other things. I asked him to calm down, stop screaming and please be more careful with the tree. He continued, at which point another guy who looked more senior got out of his pickup truck, walked over and joined in screaming and cursing me, using every expletive in the English language. It was really quite astonishing, I am paying these guys and they are cursing at me! The best part was Abusive Manager number 2 didn't even know what we were talking about, be began ranting (and cursing) about "some f-ing idiot ran f-ing cable lines under the f-ing drivway, what the f- you want us to do?" Finally, Abusive Manager number 1 pointed out I was talking about the tree, not the cables, at which point Abusive Manager number 2 began screaming that the tree was crap anyway so who cares, also every sentence laden with curse words. Absolutely astonishing. I have no idea about the quality of their paving, but can say their customer service needs work! Hire them if you feel like being subjected to verbal abuse and cursed at. If you prefer not to be treated that way, maybe find another paver? There are many. read more
