Their starting quotes also seemed high. I called Capital Glass and Construction and Grant came out that same morning to measure and place the order, and his quote was lowest of all. He explained how the repair and clean up would be done. Grant came back a couple days later with replacement glass and finished the job and cleaned up in about an hour. I was impressed. I wanted to reduce the noise as much as possible, I even considered getting triple pane windows. I requested a quote for both double and triple pane windows. Dave told me that he carries only Anlin but their double pane windows with a sound package and it's so good as triple pane windows. The quote I got was very detailed and included window specifications. It was very handy for a geek like me who wanted to verify and confirm all the details. In my recearch I found that Anlin sound package windows reduced noise by 29 decibles, comparing to 30 decibels for triple pane Pella, which confirmed Dave's statement. I had some limited availabilities due to my schedule and Dave was good at meeting me half way to find a working times for the installation. On the day of the install the team worked calmly, steadily, with great attention to the detail. It's been three months so far, but I've really enjoyed the noises reduction, temperature stability, and the high definition views these new windows provide.

I confidently told the two sales reps I would be happy to hear their quote and would go present it to my husband when he was off work. They showed us some of the product but refused to have a seat with me without my husband. We vocalized this with the company and they mentioned they would give us a discount. Then, we had a second meeting with them and I had answered the door. The same guy that had asked for the location of my husband was the one they sent, even though they said they would send another person. When I told them I would be starting the meeting first and then my husband would join at his lunch break, they were uncomfortable with it unless I was "the queen of the household." When it came to the meeting, they stated they would take only 45 minutes to an hour. That was a lie because they took nearly 2 hours of our time, with most of the time being small talk rather than actual business talk. It felt like a waste of time. They did offer us the discount and a teacher discount, which is ultimately why we went with this company. They called their boss and asked for everything then said oh here's a $5,000 discount. I said no thanks and they called again, where they had told us and written in the contract that we would be receiving the rock and siding for the price of the siding. When it came to the job starting, the men were not informed about this and their job description said only siding. We had to contact them 3 times before answering about the job. They said it would be hours until they could figure out the error in the contract. I told them that I would either take the completed job or to have $9,000 knocked off my bill. I gave 3 stars solely because of the workers that did the siding. They were very kind and did the job well. The rest of the experience was negative and not seamless.
