Edit 4/4/22: I found 5 windows that were installed on top of dry rot. This was a known issue. It was stated on the contract, "Any dry rot repair work. T&M $xx.xx per hour + materials." After installing the windows, they said that everything was good. 25 windows were installed in one day. It was a rushed job. I can't recommend them to anyone. Prior review: Michael, Dimitri, and Ramona were all nice and professional - easy to work with and responsive. The windows were GREAT. But unfortunately, some weird things happened when the windows were installed. Some issues: 1. No one called us to confirm the installation date. I contacted them a couple of days prior to the estimated installation date, which was set 2.5 months earlier, to confirm and was told that the date hasn't changed. 2. It would have helped if someone told us what to do before the installers arrived. Like, remove all window coverings. Clear the area around the windows, etc. This would have saved the installers some time. This is my first time getting windows replaced so I didn't know the process. I ordered 25 windows and 4 installers showed up in the morning to start removing the old windows. At the end of the day, they installed 24 (1 was backordered but I didn't know about this until they were getting ready to leave). I noticed that there were fingerprints (some hard to remove due to the installers handling window foam and caulk) on the inside and outside of the windows, and asked if the team is coming back the next day to clean up. The supervisor of the group said that they were not coming back and gave me tips on how to clean the windows. (I have a 2-story house!) He then asked me to pay the balance. I pushed back and said that I still need to inspect the work and will contact the company directly to make the payment. After they left, I walked through the house to inspect the work. Here's what I found: 1. Sticky substances were on the carpet, rugs, wood floor, tile floor .. it was all over the house. The installers did not remove their shoes, did not wear shoe covers, or cover/tarp the area of their work. 2. The door and faucet handles were all sticky due to them being touched by the installers. 3. As mentioned above, there were fingerprints on the inside and outside (some between the glass and the screen) of the windows. 4. 2 windows (of the same size) were installed at the wrong locations. I immediately contacted the company and they scheduled a time to come back to install the 1 back ordered window, swap the 2 windows, and clean the inside and outside of the windows. While swapping out the windows, the glass on one of them broke. Now the glass has to be replaced. read more

Corresponded with representative via email, but he did not want to come out to look at my project if I didn't think I needed to replace my french door. All I was asking for was a bid on putting security screens on 2 wing window doors and a patio slider screen for our patio slider door. He was very unaccommodating to even see what the project was. If asked, I would have sent photos to his email address but he didn't seem to want to even come out and see the job. SES replaced 9 windows in our home 2 years ago. We are now in the process of taking off old siding and replacing the exterior with stucco. During demo our general contractor noted that 2 of the windows that SES installed were not framed or flashed. We called SES and they sent someone out to look at the windows. He was pretty unprofessional getting into a heated discussion with my general contractor and I, took zero accountability for the wrong windows and was very defensive. Not to mention that the 2 windows were not framed or flashed, there was already rot and water intrusion. They did not consider their error to be part of their 5 year warranty and quoted us $900 for the labor alone and told us if we wanted new windows soon (we were in the middle of a huge house renovation and did not have 2-3 weeks to wait for SES to order new windows) we would have to go buy them ourselves. I used to recommend this company to friends and family but will no longer and would even caution consumers to stay away. They are not trustworthy or honest people. read more
