The landscapers seem to care more about catcalling than doing their jobs. They leave debris behind including thorny branches for residents to step on. The workers also do not respect personal space. I was out walking my dog the other day. We were in the rocks so he could pee and not be in the way of the sidewalk. One of the landscapers, who did not have any equipment on him, was just walking, he decides to not use the sidewalk but instead walk within inches of my dog who is very reactive. Then when my dog barked at him he wanted to give me a dirty look. Why did he need to walk on the rocks and by someone walking their dog when there was a sidewalk right there? read more

This place consistently does a crappy job each week. They come in each week after I've kept my porch clean and swept and they trash it. I've complained to the apt complex but they don't care of their renters are happy. So these lack of professionals keep getting invited back. Many people in the complex hate each time they come back and yes I'm aware it's the apt complex that invites then back BUT they have been asked by me many times to stop and they don't. I wish old school work ethic still mattered. The apt complex pays them to blow dirt, leaves, cigarette butts etc back onto our porches. I honestly think when I move, I'll make it a part of any contact I sign ,that they hire professionals that actually work. I've given them many chances to correct their work ethic. No change. The employee and his supervisor both acknowledged the incident, apologized and gave me the company contact info. Unfortunately, Lisa with Epic, was extremely rude, denied accountability and refused to help. This Company showed up at my door asking me to move my car from the driveway so they can spray the olive tree above. I had zero notification from our Glen Eagles Apartment Staff that they would be arriving so when they arrived I asked them if it was pesticides because my son likes to have his window open. Both guys were wearing big masks so I assumed it was toxic. I moved my car and found a spot to park it. As I was walking back, the guy started to spray everywhere and all over me. He did not wait for me to get safely inside. I was furious and had a headache all day. I filed a complaint with the apartment with a statement about how sloppy and negligent this was! What would have happened if I were not home or the windows were left open?Would they just spray anyways? What if my car windows were open? Terrible service on all accounts. People need to think! If the person spraying is wearing protective gear, why would they assume others could be around it. My family eats organic and does so much to live green without the use of toxic chemicals and to be showered in it! Wow. So infuriating! read more

I wasn't happy with the price that my previous landscape company was charging for the tree trimming or the quality of work they were providing at my business. I got a few quotes for the tree trimming and Epic had a great price, not to mention that they were very professional every step along the way. This company did a horrible job on our complex, they didn't clean up properly, they chopped down fully grown bushes with baby birds nesting in them, I was very upset when I saw the parents of the baby birds come back and freak out because their babies are gone. They tore those bushes down to the roots, some of the floral landscape they didn't cut back so the sidewalk is totally walkable, they left debree in random places. I talked to my complex manager and she said she has no idea why they botched the big bushes that had baby birds living in them. She also didn't know why they did such a horrible job, on everything. I do not recommend this company they made our complex look like crap when it was so pretty before. They killed baby birds and made the parents of the birds go crazy for hours. Every morning when I would leave we would hear the babies in the bushes, it's not like they were quiet. It's illegal to knowingly cut down a bush or tree with baby birds nesting in them. Did they know? I couldn't tell you. But I can tell you our once beautiful complex full of vegetation is now botched, like they didn't even care for the plants or the beauty of the plants. And they obviously didn't do what our manager wanted done, she was upset too, enough to tell me the complex is no longer doing business with them. If they were truly professionals like their website says they would care about their work, the plants, and even the law to make sure you aren't killing off wild animals that have a right to live there. They would want their work to look good. If I could give them a 0 star I would. read more

To begin with, I would like to share my observation and point of view regarding Epic, with all those interested in hiring this Company for their landscaping needs. I have witnessed the quality of work performed by their landscapers throughout the eight years, while residing at this complex. Back then, the grounds were kept at a high standard, where the trees, the bushes, the flowers, the green grass, and the gazebo's dominated the beautiful scenery. However, they seem to have gravely lowered their standard in every which way, causing this Company to plummet into a downward spiraling path. The deterioration of their workmanship, is well demonstrated in the statis quo. Presently, lets just say: the wonderful floral beds that used to be, have simply vanished. The planters are either empty, or garnished with dissipating floral and foliage; the trees are cut down, leaving no trace behind as to their existence, and those that remain, are cut down to the bare minimum. The grass around the complex has been neglected, thus, leaving dry patches throughout the property. The shrubbery has been cut in an unprofessional manner, as they are mostly crooked and uneven; and often cut so close, that only, branches are exposed. It is such a pity to see my residence go through such fundamental, and, disheartening change for the worse. As an independent observer, I recommend caution to anyone interested in hiring the above mentioned Company. read more
