Shortly after the injection, my leg became numb and I was temporarily unable to walk. The doctor explained that some of the injection may have affected a nerve. Fortunately, feeling returned to my leg about 24 hours later, but the injection did not relieve my hip pain. I expressed my concerns about my experience and the bill to both the front desk and the doctor. Afterward, I received a letter stating that the doctor would no longer be treating me as a patient.

I was out of town for most of the month of March but we were going to schedule surgery for early April and they wanted me to get blood work done upon my return. I received a garbled message from physician's assistant so I called back to check on status of surgery and next steps but my call went voice more than 4 times without a return call. I did receive a call back once while I was going through customs and could not pick up. But again voicemail message not clear. I then found out from my insurance company that the surgery was denied because the insurance company wanted me to try physical therapy first, which I will do. But again no direction from this office to move forward with PT. I am deeply concerned about the lack of communication from this office. If they did not want to take on my case, they could've had the courtesy to reach me again as I left several messages with them. I should not assume that they do not want to treat me. I know doctors' offices get busy, but lack of communication is no excuse. I chose this clinic because I tore my ACL over 25 years ago in a skiing tumble, and the surgeon I saw at this clinic encouraged me to exercise it and build my up my knee strength, which I did. He said I was coping well without the ACL and I had no instability. He advised me not to have surgery, but recommended to ski with a knee brace, which I have been doing since then. However, this torn meniscus is a bear and impacts any movement with pivoting. Not sure I will be able to ski again. I hope the lack of communication from this clinic is not happening with other potential patients and I am saddened that we could not move forward.

He truly takes his time with his patients and never makes you feel rushed. He listens carefully, really tries to understand what you're feeling, and goes above and beyond to help fix the problem instead of just masking it. What stands out most is that he takes the time to get to know you on a personal level. You can tell he genuinely cares, and that kind of bedside manner is rare these days. Everyone in the office is very kind and professional in person. The environment is welcoming, and when you're there face to face, the experience is great. Unfortunately, the biggest issue is communication. It is incredibly difficult to get a hold of someone at the office. Whether it's for scheduling, a prescription refill, or just trying to ask a question, it can be very frustrating. My brother and I both go to this office, and we've both experienced the same issue when trying to speak with someone. Getting a response can take much longer than it should, which adds unnecessary stress when you're already dealing with pain. Despite that frustration, I still wouldn't want to see any other doctor besides Dr. LeDoux. His level of care and dedication outweighs the communication challenges, and that says a lot. I found Dallas Pain Consultants in 2021 when trying to get chronic pain under control via injections (not medications). Since early 2021, I've spent a copious amount of phone time with Rachael and others office staff discussing insurance coverage, procedure details, etc. I now prefer to talk directly with Rachael (lucky her, haha) as she is unfailingly patient, knowledgeable, and clear in her explanations. She doggedly follows up with my insurance company (specifically having issues with them repeatedly rejecting authorization for a needed/supposedly covered future procedure), and keeps me in the loop anytime progress is made. I remember apologizing to her for bugging her with a new insurance question recently and she said something like "this is literally what I'm here for, I am glad to help!". She has always been warm, kind, and exceedingly helpful. If I could hire her to field questions for my own business, I would in a heartbeat! Dr. Mirchandani has taken care of me for multiple trigger point injections and 1 neck injection under anesthesia at a McKinney surgery center. Since Dr. Mirchandani floats between DFW locations, I've been to a few different DPC offices to ensure I am able to get in with him. He excels at taking into account your personal medical history when developing the most likely effective treatment plan for managing pain. I don't just feel like a number with him as he seems genuinely invested in helping me have better quality of life/be in less pain. He can be concise or comprehensive in answers to questions, depending on what is needed. He is quick but is also patient, and visits do not feel rushed. At every appointment, Dr. Mirchandani has been calming, grounded, considerate, and professional. I appreciate the high level of care both of them always provide. In this building are the offices on 3rd floor, the MRI center on the 3rd floor and the surgery center on the ground floor. This location is tied into the other locations in the region. That is a huge plus as it means once you are set up, everything is view-able from location to location, Doctor to Doctor, Doctor to Physical Therapist. They use smart tablets to enter your information and payment plus use online check-in. This location also has close parking! That is very important when you are limping in pain to see a doctor. It's also helpful when you just finished surgery and you want to get home NOW before the pain killers wear off. The staff at this location are fantastic! Very easy to work with, friendly, caring and absolutely want to help you heal! They are knowledgeable in working with insurance which can be challenge these days. If you break or tear a body part in this region, TOA is where you want to go!

Enter Dr. Andrew Morchower. I was googling "best pain management doctors in Dallas" and his name came up. I remembered seeing him clear back in 2019. He made an impression then and really listened, went the extra mile for me and the only reason I changed was just I wound up with somebody closer to me. So I went back today and it was even better than 2019. Doctor's that care about their patients truly and think outside the box without gaslighting the patient are pretty rare. They don't look at your story and automatically assume anything... they take the time in the visit to really listen to you and really try to put it together. It wasn't a 10 minute visit. I am medically complicated and I appreciate the vast amount of time given. He ran late, but they didn't realize I was a new patient pretty much. And honestly, I would wait hours for this kind of care. It just doesn't matter to me. So I am very grateful that I have found my new pain management home. Pain management is an integrate part of my team and I am absolutely convinced that Dr. Morchower will bring it all. Pain isn't a perfect process and patients can be difficult, but I'm convinced my treatment will be optimized here and I am over the moon to reconnect. My husband's back has caused him chronic pain after a lifetime of working and playing hard. His ridiculously high pain tolerance and overall fervent belief that Pennsylvania country boys "just rub some dirt on it" have taken their toll. Fifty years of playing ice hockey, football, wrestling, snow skiing, more ice hockey, a few car accidents, and whatever other extreme sport he could get his hands on wore away at his body. And then came The Great Texas Freeze during the week of Valentine's Day, 2021. He slipped on black ice and fell. Hard. All 280lbs of him. On the cement. Even the birds stopped chirping at the sound of his resounding crack. Even though Texas woke up after COVID-19 (blah!), we just couldn't get him to a good doctor. And honestly, we didn't know how badly he was hurt until we saw the X-rays taken at a chiropractor's office. Wow! We tried his primary care physician first, who promptly sent us to that chiropractor, who sent us to a physical therapist, who recommended acupuncture, who insisted it was vitamin insufficiencies, and on and on. All this time, my husband and I prayed for healing, for guidance, and, after the first two years, for a miracle. We researched Dallas-area Spine Doctors and Pain Management Doctors and went... to 3 of DFW's "Top" doctors for more opinions. Each time, we'd jump through their hoops, the insurance hoops, the pharmacy hoops, and we never gave up praying. One after the next, they were just NEVER able to give my husband one BIT of pain relief! Joe was in so much pain, and I was exhausted trying to help him manage through life. I put his socks on for him, got up to get him anything he needed, bought three different (super expensive mattresses) trying to find him relief, and oh so many other things living with his heart-crushing back pain. Then, one visit to the latest pain management doctor's office made us both blow up with frustration! We had been going in circles with this doctor and his staff about Joe's level of pain and the ineffective procedures that had been going on for 18 months. My husband fired them that day! Forcing ourselves to start over AGAIN is what brought us to Dr. Morchower. We did our research and found ourselves hopeful that THIS doctor would LISTEN. First of all, the man is BRILLIANT!
