This 1 star review is for the administration and front desk people. A few days ago we started our dog on an antibiotic pill. It was 3 days tops and our dog started to have a bad reaction so we called to explore an alternative option which we were told would be a $200 shot. We asked if there was a way to credit the antibiotic pill charge seeing as though he had an adverse affect and were told no, that the office manager stated that was not possible. When I asked if I could speak to the office manager I was told no. When I asked if I could speak with Dr. Pat, I was told no and that I'd have to schedule and pay for an in person consultation. I asked if he could please call me back and I was told no. I asked if there was anyone else above the front desk girl I could speak with to dispute the charge and I was told no. This is a terrible business practice and it's left such a bad impression for me. Dr. Pat is a great guy and I can't imagine that he would not allow for his customers to dispute a charge.

She was 14 years old and was back to her sprightly self after two weeks, just as Dr. Vedadi said. We took our 14 year old dog back in for other issues that Dr. Vedadi accurately diagnosed and treated. We have had to put one of our 13-year old dogs down because of heart congestion issues as well. Bottom line: This office is always busy, but Dr. Vedadi always makes time to see our pets. He works long hours seven days a week. Dr. Vedadi is a gifted veterinarian and we trust him with our fur babies.

To be clear, the veterinarian provided excellent care, several of the vet assistants were wonderful, and I've generally had positive experiences with the front desk. My dog had surgery to remove a cyst, and the procedure itself was handled very well. For that, I'm truly grateful. Unfortunately, the issue came afterward. When checking out, I questioned the high cost of the medication and mentioned that I normally use Chewy or Allivet. The front desk encouraged me to use their pharmacy instead, assuring me the prescription would be approved quickly and the service would be reliable. Since my dog needed an antibiotic daily for 10 days, I agreed and purchased enough locally to cover four days in case of shipping delays. The medication didn't even ship for three days. By Monday, I was almost out and contacted the office. Instead of receiving understanding or help, I was told it was my fault for ordering through their pharmacy and that I could either pay an inflated price for more pills or "figure it out myself." Of course, I had no choice but to pay because my dog needed the medication. Now I've learned the shipment won't arrive until next Monday, after the medication is no longer needed, forcing me to buy even more locally just to complete the treatment. The delay is frustrating, but the real disappointment is the lack of ownership, empathy, and support when their recommended solution failed. Integrity matters most when something goes wrong. Sadly, because of this experience, I'll be finding a different veterinarian moving forward.

And to have a vet show NO compassion, NO empathy, and be completely unprofessional and rude made this painful day even more agonizing. I have never had an experience like this with a vet, let alone with one coming to put an animal to rest. We have had to say goodbye to many beloved pets in our family and have had some of the most caring, loving vets help us through it. Audrey could not be farther from that. After the primary vet told us it was time to say goodbye, my aunt made calls to find someone available to come to the house. Audrey said she would be coming back home from a trip that day and we were on her way. By the time she arrived, we were all there, friends and family, in tears, trying to give as much love as we could to our precious fur baby. Audrey walked in, sat down, and immediately started taking out her supplies and seemed so rushed. My aunt started to share how hard this is for her and how scared she was. Audrey responded by saying things like "what's the other option? Spending tens of thousands of dollars at the hospital?" And went on with a rehearsed speech that sounded almost like a lecture. Her coldness could be felt by all of us. She did not say his name once. Did not examine him. Just continued to take out her supplies and rushing through the process. My aunt then asked about the process and the memorial keepsakes we could have, and Audrey seemed even more annoyed. We were in shock. Her attitude was so evident like a dark cloud in the room. So my aunt, who was experiencing one of the hardest days of her life, had to ask Audrey if SHE was ok. Audrey scoffed and said "You knew what time I would be getting here, I thought you would be ready." We were even more shocked. Trying to explain we just wanted to have the experience we were expecting and have had with other vets when we say goodbye- a compassionate and loving, personal experience. Because Audrey seemed to not understand how hard this was for us, my mom even added that our grandma was in the hospital and things are just so hard. Audrey's response was "yeah well we are all going through things. I just drove 8 hours. Do you want me to do this or not?" SHOCKED. Why did she agree to come here if she wasn't capable of giving us the time and compassion any family would need? We were all looking at each other in disbelief, and without a word Audrey packed up her things, walked out and slammed our door! So cruel. She abandoned a patient in need of care, prolonging his suffering. She abandoned a broken family. Thankfully, he made it through the night and we were able to make appointment for the next morning with the most caring, kind, compassionate, gentle vet that made the transition as beautiful as she could. She asked about him, his personality, his life. Did a full exam before confirming that we were making the right decision to say goodbye. She spent time with us after he crossed rainbow bridge to do paw prints & clay prints, and keep fur clippings. This is one of the hardest reviews I've ever had to write because of the pain Audrey caused our family and precious cat. There are other options out there.

The last visit we never receive a call that our dog "COWBOY" was done. Typically he takes two hours but after two and a hlf hours I started to call but my call went to voice mail. Not having a problem in the past I let it ride for another hour and then decided to visit the shop to see what was up. By the time I arrived he was done and the heavy set girl at the counter asked if I would like to leave a tip and I asked for what he had been there for four hours at that point and when he came out it was obvious that he was in distress not having to go potty the entire time he was there. I chalked that the issue was related to the person I was dealing with and her complete lack of social skills. Our appointment was today at 10:00 AM, we were held up by morning traffic and when we arrive I took him for a short walk to relieve himself. When we walk in I was not met with a greeting but was asked if this was COWBOY and I acknowledged that he was. I was then hit with a comment that the rules stipulate the there is only a fifteen minute grace period and that she need to check with the groomer before she could accept my dog. Yes it was the same heavy set gal. I have been coming here for years and have spent 1,000's of dollars here and now I have to be explained what the rules are even though I have never had any type of problem in the past. I guess that there is a new sheriff in town and I need to learn my place. I do not know who owns this place but want to make it clear that I am certainly not going to be abused by a dog groomer receptionis. you can look up my account to see who I am and my promise is that I will not spend another nickel at Zuri as long as this individual works there. Authority is a privilege and should not be given to individuals that are not responsible or mature enough to understand how it is to be used. In this case this person feels she is entitled to chase customers away. If you feel that is the proper way to use it I do not think that you will be in business much longer. Remember dog groomers are paid for with discretion art funds and in the case of a bad economy or poor service dry up pretty fast. Do yourself a favor and eliminate this problem as soon as you can. I would give my rating a minus number if I could.

They are always so kind and attentive here. Teddy while afraid of people he does not know, regularly jumps up to great the attendants when I drop him off in the mornings. He gets play time with other dogs in the tots room which he loves! Once as I was picking him up it took a little bit. When he was brought out I asked if everything was ok. The nice lady told me Teddy was a little nervous so she was taking her time with him. It makes me feel secure knowing they consider his feelings and don't rush him. I can tell they really care about the dogs in their care. Thank you Pet Suites from myself and Teddy!

I truly can't say enough wonderful things about Epic Pet Center. From the moment we walked in, I knew we had found somewhere special. The entire experience exceeded my expectations, and I am so incredibly grateful to have found a place that genuinely cares about both pets and their owners. We recently rescued a 4-year-old Dalmatian, and before our visit I made sure to let the team know that she is very anxious and nervous due to being neglected by her previous owners. They were so understanding and compassionate right from the start. Dr. Sedra showed an incredible amount of patience, taking the time to move at her pace and waiting until she felt calm and safe before proceeding. That level of care and respect meant everything to us, especially given her past. It's not easy to find a veterinarian who is not only knowledgeable, but also so gentle and emotionally aware. His assistant, Maddy, was equally amazing. She was kind, attentive, and made sure we felt comfortable every step of the way. You can truly tell that the staff here love what they do and treat every animal with genuine care and kindness. We also brought our other dog, Oliver, who has always struggled with anxiety during vet visits. Normally, he is very stressed, but this time was completely different. He was calm, relaxed, and comfortable in a way we've never seen before at any other clinic. That alone speaks volumes about the environment they have created here. On top of the exceptional care, the clinic itself is spotless, very organized, and welcoming. Every detail feels thoughtfully put together, and the complimentary drinks are such a nice touch that makes you feel even more at ease during your visit. I am beyond thankful to the entire team for the kindness, patience, and compassion they showed both of my dogs. Experiences like this are rare, and it truly feels like they go above and beyond in every way. There are not many places like this left, and I feel so lucky to have found them. I had such a wonderful experience bringing my two kittens here. The entire team was incredibly kind, attentive, and gentle with them from the moment we arrived. I really appreciated that the Doctor took the time to explain everything thoroughly and recommended all of the necessary vaccinations and preventive care without making me feel rushed. One thing that stood out to me was that the examination was done right in front of me rather than taking my kittens to a separate room. It gave me so much peace of mind to be able to stay with them instead of hearing them cry from another room. The only time they were taken briefly was for the bloodwork, which I completely understand. We used to see Dr. Gunderson at Midlands after Dr. Iketa retired. Then the clinic moved farther away under a new name. Now the new clinic is losing Dr. Gunderson and they won't be taking care of birds any longer. Can't say I'm happy about this disruption of care. I will continue to look for Dr. Gunderson. Hopefully she's just moving elsewhere and not retiring from practice. Very sad situation. Omar's wasn't aware of this change. They are now.

Put an appointment online and clarified what both dogs needed. Specifically, my dog needed to get his ear checked. I put it online in their website and they call me to confirm. I wrote on the website my dog needed his ear checked and told them that he needed his ear checked. When I arrived they only had him scheduled for a quick tech vet and wouldn't see him but offered later that day. Extremely unprofessional, I communicated to them my expectation. Not to mention, in the waiting room, a woman walked in without an appointment, front desk said she had no appointment but it was no problem to see her. Sounds like discrimination Not to mention, the vet tech had us SIGN our quote that it was 350$ not 600$. Guess what they tried to make me pay at the front desk? Yep, $600. Check your documents as clearly detail orientation is not critical here. I absolutely do not trust this place to perform surgery on my dog if they can't even get this stuff straight. The only reason we did fraudulently get charged an extra $300 is because we caught it. I'm sure others are taken advantage Also, if you provide your phone number you will get spam calls from their automated appointment reminder. Which is crazy is that is how I scheduled BOTH my appointments but apparently that wasn't enough to get seen! Deplorable - also to the automated response that will say to contact the hospital manager. We tried, that is clearly just a tactic on yelp to look good. If the customer in front of you can't get the same service sounds pretty trivial

Dr…read more Garcia and the staff were very kind, patient, and gentle with our bird during the whole treatment process. He was prescribed medication, and the clinic monitored his healing progress closely. Thanks to the treatment, the issue was resolved pretty quickly. About 2.5 weeks after starting treatment, the wound is fully healed, the area no longer seems to bother him, and new healthy feathers are already growing back. I'm also very happy that we were able to schedule an appointment online quickly and get seen without a long wait. Really appreciate the care and professionalism from Dr. Garcia and the whole team

When I described to him what was going on, he barely touched my bunny and started telling me about his dog and what he does when his dog has seizures (which is once a month, he added). Not a word about what to do with my pet, only his. Complete, and I mean absolutely complete waste of money. I would never ever recommend this place to anyone! I found a great doctor who has helped my bunny and now my pet's condition is managed with great meds!

Explained we were on fixed income and that we did not want to get a loan for unneeded test / exams and other procedures. They had us wait over 1 hr for nothing . Complete waste of time . I get they it's a business but man this animal hospital obviously cares about the almighty dollar , I Will not be coming here again !
